Phone won't Ring! Can't answer calls. Calls went directly to voice mail. Could not dial out! Only text worked. TELLO kept telling me it was my Samsung unlocked A11 -WRONG! After several... MONTHS... constantly calling trying to get help from Tello finally a night tech told me to go to Connections - Mobile Network - Access Point Name. He had me enter "ims" in three areas and restart phone. It was then ims appeared on screen under Tello. After that my phone worked! I could not find this info anywhere on their website and suggested they do so but customer service was never receptive and they ignored me. The time I spent wasted daily with Tello customer service was ridiculous. Hope this helps someone!

I strongly regret ever choosing Tello. This has been one of the most frustrating and time-wasting experiences I’ve had with any phone provider.
I purchased a number a few days ago with a very simple and legitimate intention: to port it out to Google Voice. My number is fully active, working, and confirmed. There is absolutely no technical reason for any delay. Yet here I am, almost FOUR DAYS later, being blocked with vague excuses like “it needs time to set up.” That’s not an explanation — that’s stalling.
Let’s be honest about what’s happening here: this looks like a deliberate tactic to prevent customers from porting out quickly so they can keep charging you longer. There is no transparency, no urgency, and no respect for the customer’s time — especially when the request is completely standard and time-sensitive.
I am leaving the country very soon, and this unnecessary delay is causing real inconvenience. Instead of resolving the issue, I’m being given generic responses that solve nothing. This is unacceptable.
If this is not resolved immediately, I will be posting this experience everywhere — review platforms, forums, and social media — because people deserve to know how Tello handles customers when they try to leave.
Avoid this provider if you value your time, your control over your number, and basic customer service.

I had a great customer service experience and Darrel was very patient and clear in his explanation to me about problem with my phone number not connecting to service/ eSIM issue. He is good at his job. I would recommend Tello customer service to anyone. I’ve been on an over 30 minute wait time calls with former phone carrier with sometimes little help. somehow my text messages stopped coming in, and I was in a panic. Darrell was very knowledgeable and helpful, and also looked up recent activity on the phone to make sure I wasn't the victim of phone hacking. Darrell maintained a calm and professional demeanor throughout, and was quickly successful at trouble shooting the problem. Other than following his instructions, I wasn't much help. Darrell is worth his weight in gold to your org, and I hope this is recognized where it needs to be.
Rossio helped me recover my old telephone number. Tello is top quality customer service with real human beings, and unlimited cell phone plans that are the most affordable in the industry.
I find Tello to be an elegant and cost-effective service. Their customer support is fast and effective. Keep it up!
