The process was slower than I expected.
I also wish I could fully download all reports with details in a file, but I need to download each report category separately, and after download, I can't see all details and explanations that I see in the dashboard, but only a table that contains one word (eg, high risk) for each analysis.

I'd love to read research articles tied to some of the results. Asparagus smell in....(how does one research that correllation?) Keep up the work, though. The pharmacological testing should be a norm for all within healthcare.

The correlation you mentioned is due to the genetic variant in the OR5A1 olfactory receptor gene cluster. Researching this is fascinating because it divides the population into two groups: those who produce the metabolite (asparagusic acid) and, most interestingly, those who have the genetic ability to smell it.

I had a disappointing experience
I had a nice experience with the ancestry kit, which I also bought for family members, that i decided to do the DNA kit. The results take 6 weeks from when they process the receipt of it, and was 2 weeks to notify me they received it (overall 8 weeks). I emailed them to check status a little more than half way through the waiting period and they said the 23rd was the farthest date and it could be ready before. i contacted them 3x when the date came and went and they said “sorry for any inconvenience this may cause you but it is estimated to be two more weeks” . That is unacceptable service. Please don’t buy if you need it any time soon. You can go to a lab. i won’t buy from here again.

TellmeGen sent me a second sample collection kit
TellmeGen sent me a second sample collection package after the first one was deemed low quality (they figured that out after nearly 2 months of waiting).
Before receiving the new sample collection package they sent me an email with instructions on how to register the new kit within my already existing account that I had with them. However the new kit could not be registered online as their website does not work correctly or somebody forgot to add the button (register new kit) described in the email. I have the new sample drying out and deteriorating at home waiting for them to reply to emails I sent, I have been waiting over 24h for a reply. Shocked at how bad the service is, considering the price and their ratings.

Comparing 23andMe and TellMeGen Results
I uploaded my raw data from 23andMe to TellMeGen, and the results were very similar. What I really like is that TellMeGen’s interface looks and feels a lot like 23andMe, which made it easy and familiar to navigate. The layout is clean, well organized, and visually appealing, so exploring the reports didn’t feel overwhelming. Overall, TellMeGen gave me a comfortable user experience while delivering results that closely matched what I had already seen from 23andMe.

Very good experience. Loved the results! It was interesting and funny to know about my ancestry and the percentages of Neanderthal DNA. TellmeFen makes it easier to understand the genetics and interpret the results. Really helpful to know my genetic vulnerability to health conditions. It's in my genes to overeat!
I came across tellmeGen through an AI chatbot when I was looking for an affordable WGS test for myself. I decided to give them a go and was really happy with my results. I purchased the Ultra test and found it very informative and insightful. I live with multiple long-term conditions and wanted to know how I can better advocate for myself when accessing healthcare services, and what lifestyle or medication changes might be helpful. The insights and information will also support my clinicians to understand which medications are likely to work best for me and what key things to look out for. The traits section was very insightful and 100% accurate for me. Now I can tell people it is in my genes to overeat and that I have a sweet tooth!

Customer service not contactable
So far I am having difficulty getting hold of anyone to resend the email with a label to send off a sample. So far I have tried two email addresses - no response - the "UK" phone number, which is actually in Spain and chat, which is advertised as 24/7 but which is now showing as "offline". Meanwhile I have a sample which is aging rapidly and no idea what to do with it.
