outranges prices & pricing experiments…
outranges prices & pricing experiments of more than doubling internet packages, the more loyal you see the longer you stay with them the more expensive it gets and less way less convenient price wise, horrible
It's really bad
It's really bad. It's charging you for nothing. If you have credits, they will eventually go down for nothing. When you go to history, it's also show nothing. Really bad!!!
Dont use Telkomsel in Indonesia
Dont use this company. Bought a simcard in Jogja Indonesia, because 3 shop said there were processing delays. Details fully registered. I never received an activation code and my phone said no service. The online "help" insisted my phone was working sent lots of repetitive time & consuming instructions. I ended up buying a more expensive package from Smarty, which worked immediately . Telkomsel don't do refunds
Absolutely crap
Absolutely crap. Stopped working - everything in English to buy the eSIM - nothing in English if problems and no way to reach customer support online. I’ll have to find a physical store for help

I do not understand all the bad reviews
I do not understand all the bad reviews. I think most people just don't know how to travel, lol.
I am staying in Indonesia for 6 months, mainly in rural areas. I bought two different esims to compare which one worked better.
I bought an esim at a local Telkomsel shop and an online esim at Roamic. Both work the same for me.
Telkomsel takes a longer time to set up, because you have to go to a local shop and register your number there. But if you have the time I do recommend buying it. It is way cheaper then any other online esim (like 5 euros for 12gb) and works exactly the same. I went to a non tourist telkomsel shop and the coworker spoke English just fine.
She helped me set everything up and it made sure it worked. Just like most esims, Telkomsel works best in urban areas and doesn't work great in rural areas. Yes, maybe you cannot watch youtube with one bar network, but I was able to send whatsapp messages at all times and you can't do that with most esims anyways.
I think the telkomsel shop at the airport is more expensive, so just go to a local one.
Support local shops and don't buy an online esim.

Telkomsel Needs Service Improvement
Telkomsel’s signal is quite stable, but my experience with the MyTelkomsel app hasn’t been very smooth. The app often lags, and there are sometimes errors when recharging packages or making payments. Their customer service responds quite slowly, and sometimes I have to wait a long time to get support. In addition, the data package I bought has not been used much but has been consumed abnormally, making it hard to control and quite frustrating
Expensive, bad app and customer service
First got ripped off at the airport with a way too expensive data package. Then I tried to top up in the app but credit card payments don’t work (it doesn’t even come up in my bank app so error is from Telkomsel). Tried to pay through GoPay but keep getting an error here as well. Absolute useless company with a helpdesk who also doesn’t solve the issue.
Worst company ever
Worst company ever. They have taken 1,5 hour and still they don’t have solution.
They asked about screen shots and i sent it to the company and still they don’t wanna send the money back or refuses to update the internet what a SCAM.
The names: Endo, Bolu , Minke
They refuses to read the e mails back or gives a solution.
Thieves-scammers-caution!!!!
Thieves, scammers, and mafia. They steal from foreigners constantly. I've bought a 30-day plan twice, and it stops working on the fifth day. They do this to all foreigners, and it seems their country allows it, because they do it constantly.
The Telekomsel app is just above…
The Telekomsel app is just above useless, you can not add your bank details if it is not on the list and they only have 3 on it, it continually pushes adverts and none important crap down your throat when you are trying to use.
Terrible customerservice
Coverage is well, but since I have been out of the country my IMEI all of a sudden is not registered abymore so I cannot use my simcard. They provider registration via videocall, which I thought would be a good solution. It would take max 24h for my phone to work. We are 74 hours further and customer service keeps on telling me they will solve it "asap" or "immediately", but that is not more than 3 days. They refuse to give me more specific answers or let me talk to the specific departement. I only get standardized messages to be patient...
Dang it Telkomsel!!
Dang it Telkomsel!!
You may have the best coverage in Indonesia, but your product prices and your services.... just.... smh!!
Feels like being scammed here.. Dang it!!
DO NOT DO NOT USE THIS TERRIBLE COMPANY!!!!!!
DO NOT USE THIS TERRIBLE COMPANY!!!!!!! It's beyond horrible.
In three weeks, I bought five months worth of data coverage. First, I bought three months worth to cover the few months that I was going to be in Indonesia. I took a three month plan. It ran out within five days. I only use it for Google Maps when I travel; the rest of the time I use Wi-Fi, so it could not have been used up.
So I bought another package for 30 days, They simply told me that I used up all my gigabytes in that first five days. No.
This time I had 30 days and it ran out in about four days.
Again, I'm not using it that much at all so I believe it is a SCAM. Without maps I can't go anywhere, so I went to the store and bought another 30 day-plan for my last two weeks. Within four days, it stopped working completely. No explanation from the company, no text from the company, nothing. It just stopped working even though I paid for it all. I over paid for it all.
Finally, I went to a store to get something new and definitely switched companies,
The worker there told me that all of the Telkomsel cell customers were coming in with that problem. The phone simply stopped working. No more Internet connection. No data, no explanation. She said they were switching because the government said they could no longer do three month plans so now they're only doing one month plans. Does not excuse the horrible customer service that I received, especially considering I had purchased two 30 day plans in addition to the 90 day plan that they were canceling without telling anyone.
So they are going around charging foreigners, especially for 30 day plans and giving them a few days and then cutting them off. The whole thing is a big fraud. Again, DO NOT use this company. I would give them zero stars if I could.

Using roaming service abroad and honestly, it’s been a nightmare. The funniest (and most frustrating) part? They keep spamming me with texts saying, ‘If you need help while overseas, contact us’ ,like bro, YOU are the reason I need help! Ever felt like your provider is gaslighting you while charging you for it?
Telkomsel offers me a sim card for…
Telkomsel offers me a sim card for 200,000 rupees ( I need just for calling)
And tell me, then you can call for free in Bali for ONE month!!
But now after one week I cannot call anymore. PULSA HABIS!!!!
So they are cheaters and Liars!!!
I've used telkomsel for more than 20…
I've used telkomsel for more than 20 years, the service keep declining every years. It seems they cannot keep up with additional subscribers but still want to add more, so they sacrifice their loyal customers. Service is horrible, network is bad, app is bad, they gave us surveys as formalities only without any intention to really improve their services.
Horrible services
Horrible services. I can not recommended this to anyone even if they have good coverage.
