I registered a teacher on the Teaching…

I registered a teacher on the Teaching Me platform and encountered a very unpleasant situation. We received an order for a free lesson, the tutor accepted it, and immediately the balance showed -1000 UAH because the platform charges a commission per student * 2, even if the lesson is free.

We then contacted the manager, explaining that the lesson was not conducted and no one paid anything. However, the balance was not corrected, and they demanded a video call with the tutor, which felt like a lack of trust. Communication with the manager was rude and unprofessional.

Furthermore, we were advised to delete the tutor’s account because there might be issues with the student, even though the tutor is a native speaker. Overall, the experience was very negative.

I do not recommend this platform due to incorrect charging, lack of proper support, and rude communication.
