I live in Richmond Hill

I live in Richmond Hill, ON. I hold a Gold TD Visa Infinite card for over 25 years, my credit limit is mid 5 digits. Good credit and good payment records. Other than 1% cash back, we have Deluxe TD Auto Club (AC) services. TD Visa download the later to some bad operator. The previous contractor tolls my car to the dealer (7.5 KM away) for free. Now they only cover 1st few Km, and I need to pay $20 plus. My van, sitting inside the garage, need a battery boost just now. The operator, Joel, give me all kinds of excuses for not providing the services. Finally, it is agreed my wife, being the primary cardholder, need to call for service. She never need to call & I use the service under my card every time in the past 25 years for roadside assistance. I always have nice service in the past, and now it is really bad (sucks). I have many credit cards, I M going to send this one back. Business needs to be earned, no entitlement!!

Waited on hold for 53 mins and then…

Waited on hold for 53 mins and then finally just hung up. They sent my C.C. to my old address again for the second time in 4 years i have updated my address twice. So now they updated it again and sent my new card to the branch but its been 10 days and it still isnt there now i have 2 autistic kids without their 1h of tv time messing up our daily routine because of coarse the card still isnt at the branch location....like WTF. I cant even pay my c.c. right now so i better not be accumulating interest. I swear to god as soon as my balance is paid off i am closing my c.c. down with these guys. Horrible service and even worse wait times.

Upon looking at my accounts this…

Upon looking at my accounts this morning I noticed TD charged me $48 for fees out of a savings account. When I called them to address it they told me they charge $3 per transaction out of that account? Plus the transaction fee I pay when transferring out of that account? Never have I experienced charges like this out of all my years banking with TD. Nice way to hide more fees and bring in the New Years policy TD. Merry Christmas to you too!

I went to TD branch that’s located in square one mall, Mississauga and requested coins for my company that I used to get change for but it changed recently to online order but the order didn’t come due to holidays, the customer service representative Narirose and his supervisor Mathew rejected to help claiming I’m not on the list even though I I brought the money for the change with me, the need for coins was urgent. Bad customer service and no understanding to the urgency, I should give 0 star but there’s no option for Zero star

I have been waiting for a visa card…

I have been waiting for a visa card since the end of November it is now December 20th.They have no way of tracking it to find my card they just tell me to be patient. I have have two automatic payments canceled their services to me because they were on my Visa. They have no remorse. And told me to call Canada Post to complain. It was sent FedEx. They need a better way of sending items to branches. As soon as I get this sorted I am leaving Canada Trust and have been a client for 46 years

I've requested multiple times to have a charge that keeps reoccurring to be stopped. And it keeps reoccurring so obviously it's not stopped. There virtual bot is the worst of any by far, there customer service obviously can't do any simple job that's asked. I've had enough of loosing money to this company because there to damn lazy to help anyone. They say what you want to hear and do nothing about it. Pathetic

statement

Two weeks ago, I went to TD and requested my statement from the last two years to investigate fraud on my account. I asked them to send the file to my email in EXCEL or another compatible format. Instead, they gave me everything printed out. In this day and age, they gave me my "file" PRINTED. I can't believe it.

Stop with pop ups…

Quit hammering me with pop ups continually asking me for my cookie preferences in easyweb. Every time I need to go to a different page the same old pop up asks me the same questions. I WILL NEVER AGEREE TO TARGETTING!!!!! Quit asking. Your cheesy program should remember the answer the first time. Do not keep asking every 10 seconds until you get the answer you want. You will never get it and it is very annoying!

Ridiculous

They have a business wicket at Devonshire Mall in Windsor, which is designed to be quicker than the regular line for business customers. I must say the one at devonshire mall was ridiculous, not to mention the slowest, longest line ups I have ever saw at a bank. I would not go back there and as a matter of fact left and drove to the Ottawa Street location where I waited only 5 minutes even though the line up was lengthy. Do yourself a favor do NOT go to the TD bank at the mall, slow and understaffed! Very unsatisfied business owner.

I had schedule phone appointment with Ester Customer Care Mgmt. . The complains it was about deposit cheq. for over 100,000 K to single account while cheq. was issue for join names . Esther advice me to request order from my lawyer or court , so much of professional help TD Canada Trust when they know how to take interest and mortgage weekly from my account . This interest was deposit on his account from fraud all over the news Bionorth , taking people money for 6 million! How protective that sounds from TD site ?Shame . I will escalate this issue make sure public is aware what is going on

These people are incompetent

These people are incompetent. The customer service never knows WHAT THEY ARE TALKING ABOUT! THEY literally make up whatever they can knowing it’s not true. I was given the run around for my card for almost 2 weeks!!! They claimed it’ll be expressed shipped last saturday, I called today & it was just shipped yesterday. These people are liars. I’ve been dealing with my card constantly getting locked by the fraud department & NO ONE HAS CONTACTED ME ONCE! I have to keep calling. I am sick of this trash bank!!! I’ll be moving elsewhere.

Representative Ed

Customer service agent Ed was amazing. He was helpful with all of the questions I had regarding a loan. He was quick and efficient and polite and knew what he was talking about, explaining to me all options for a loan. For someone who is not very knowledgeable on this topic I was able to make the best decision for myself with his help. I will ask to speak with him again in the future he is truly the best representative i’ve spoken to.

Help with lost card

I had lost my card and my home branch (Abbott and Hastings, Vancouver) has closed, merged with the Main and Pender branch. After finding my card I called to inform them but still expected to have to go to bank to get new card. Actually she was able to do it (reinstate card )over the phone which shortened today's errand time considerably!🙏🏼👍🏼👏🏼She was extremely courteous, helpful & quick! I can't say enough! Thk u,thk u, thk u😉

Called in to require about a question I got asked couldn’t do over the phone appointment and then the teller hangs up on me before I could say something else I have been dealing with the td for over 10 years highly suggesting pulling my bank from here absolutely ridiculous

My second time wrote about this bank

My second time wrote about this bank. My damage is not finished yet by this bank. I paid off the visa to 0 , the visa representative set me up for preauthorize payment for the card. Different from other bank, even your visa is 0 balance, the preauthorize payment still go thru and took out $ from my chequing. Td double dip charge NSF on both my chequing account and on visa. After argued for hours, visa did not want to reimburse anything and insisted the NSF was ok to charge. I gave up since I wasted so much time on this issues. The way TD made money is insane. Anyway, I spoke out because I want all customers be careful with this Bank. I let Td wdl all my $ from my chequing account for 0 visa balance preauthorized payment caused my life insuranced bounced for 2 months. I and my family members decided to move everything from TD and never will use them anymore. BE CAREFUL with this BANK! I am going to file a complaine to CDIC. Reported TD dishonest business behavior

Think Twice before dealing with this branch / TD Canada

I am extremely disappointed with the downtown Vancouver branch at Burrard and Davie. I have had dealings with the Maple Ridge Canada Trust for the past 25+ years before they merged with TD.

My specific issue is regarding an application for a mortgage. I am 63 years old, have an excellent credit rating, bring in over $10,000 a month, and I have a willing co-signer who makes much more money than I do. I filed the appropriate application and paperwork for a mortgage on my rental property. I was extremely dissatisfied with the poor communication and lengthy delays in processing my application. After almost 2 months and having all the required documents filed and various discussions with two people in the branch, I was finally told that everything was good to go. They just needed to send it for final approval to the back office.

They came back and asked me for $45,000 more. Not exactly pocket change. We had previously had discussions and I had extended myself to get the $50,000 together that they originally requested. At the beginning, they asked for $50,000 and now they wanted a total of $95,000. At the end of the process, this was not acceptable and they wanted even more. Needless to say, I would rather not do business with them in the future. I suggest others should have second thoughts before they jump into the deep end with this branch or TD Canada.
