I love taxslayer software. I am a member of CSTC or CSTC.com. I have been trying to convert members from lacerte and others tax software companies. Your price is great for mid size firms. Some use "complex returns" as not to change. I don't see complex returns. They just need more attention. Great 👍🏾 products.

This tax software is very easy to use and train subordinate tax preparers to use. The three year comparison is fantastic and critical when checking work. Our return rate is over 95 percent so the comparison is crucial. Our practice is in a multi-state area and my only complaint would be that some states seem to be programmed differently which can cause issues when preparing multiple states. Customer Service is very strong. I will continue to use and strongly recommend.

I have been using TaxSlayer Pro since 2012, won't use anything else. Software is very user friendly, accurate and the support team is very helpful, as well as my sales person. Thank you guys for a job well done!!!

Your programers need to label the tax year being used, without having to download an individual client to determine what program year you are using. Many times i will have multiple tax years downloaded but can't tell which one just looking at the initial screen. Tom Evans

Aubrey is a wonderful person, she was very patient with me and help with anything i needed. Also tech support is very helpful, every time i call they always solve my problem and always willing to help with any questions i have.

Customer Support sucks!

I am giving a 1* to pull their attention. don't get me wrong. software may be good but other aspects but if customer support is not good, it overrides everything. EACH TIME I call with the easiest questions, the agents will keep you on the phone for long trying to contact someone at the backend to provide the response to your concern. That is called human resource wastage. why should you put some one to answer calls when they have no clue about the product? why not connect the client directly with the expert at the backend? its better to create a chat feature so customers can communicate. I am on hold while writing this review and its been 28 minutes and counting. my question was why am I not able to deduct preparer fee from state refund and why don't I see a bank product option for this client to get their state refund? software is defaulting to deduct fees from federal refund but client owes federal taxes and has a state refund. If you have been using this software, that is an easy one which all agents should know(looks like they are not even familiar with the product). Now I got the answer which is what I initially suspected = because client owes federal. did I really have to wait for 33 minutes to get this response?

Please hire me and train and see how your product will improve. I have a powerful ability in critical analysis.

Had to get a new EFIN due to negligence on the IRS part. Contacted my sales rep and she requested my ID and my information from the IRS. Sent that. The next day I was told by someone that I needed to go in the system to change the information because it wasnt matching and someone would contact me at the end of the day. Day three, haven't heard from anyone, now they are asking for a bill of sale from one business to another and my articles of organization. I even sent that. And still there has been on change. At this point I have told them if they dont fix the problem by close of business that I need my money for the software refunded to me immediately. I am calling Taxwise tomorrow to set up an account with them. This has been an awful experience and I would NEVER recommend Taxslayer to anyone. They shut their phones off. Don't return emails. I am gonna share this experience wherever I can.

As long as, Aubrey Gotchy my account manager, im not leaving this software. Besides the software being easy to use, Audrey makes it even better.

My name is Tarica Pittman and Aubrey Gotchy was my account manager for my first tax season and unfortunately the person who was supposed to be my account manager for my returning year is no longer with the company. I had several questions before deciding to renew and Aubrey was more than helpful and answered all my questions. Aubrey is truly amazing, her customer service is unmatched; she is patient, thorough and passionate about helping her customers.

Not giving my usual 5 star because we had more than the usual problems this year with tech support Not able to answer and having to escalate to someone who could help.

Tech support is great! always ready to help. I wish the program can offer more complex forms, is tedious to do things by hand because is not support by the program. I would also like to see more ways to personalize the letters to clients and be able to do quick quotes without having to save the information in the program.

K-1 entry in on-line version does not allow entry for all data.

You refuse to debug even the most grevious issues. I have asked repeatedly and now I dont bother anymore.

Failure to update state software in a timely manner.

I have been using TaxSlayer Pro since 2016, Best of the best on Customer Service, Technical Support and of course the software is great.
I am not going anywhere else.
