Fast and super easy process. My tax account was impressed and made completing our taxes easy as well. Will use again for as long as I own crypto.

TaxBit's software fell woefully short on being able to figure out basic transaction discrepancies and was also unable to rectify them automatically (or manually, for that matter). I got the run around for weeks that they were working on a 'fix' that never came. I tried competitor software to compare results and a few of their competitors did not have the same issues, validating that my situation wasn't 'special' and that it wasn't a user error. I also had some issues getting a refund after they failed to provide a solution. There are several other great options out there (except tokentax, they are just as inept).

In response to the request for a support ticket, here is one of about 20 I had regarding the issues: #15262. I have since went with a competent competitor.

Had a few problems early on when TaxBit did not pick up some crypto to crypto trades. After a few chat sessions the problem was corrected and TaxBit has been great at tracking my purchases and sales of digital assets. Also made tax filing much easier.

Easy to use web site, responsive to questions and well worth the cost. TaxBit really saved my bacon on tax day this year, as my accountant knows nothing about crypto.

Need to be able to API offshore exchanges.

TaxBit saved me a vast amount of time in assessing all my crypto transactions and producing the form that is now required by the IRS at tax filing time. I plan to use it again next year.

However, it required a good degree of trust in the app that confidentiality of the gathered data was assured and that it was securely stored by TaxBit.

Great software! Support staff that is super awesome to work with.

First year with TaxBit after starting in crypto in summer of 2020. I was quite happy with my TaxBit experience - the support staff are awesome, very helpful, and willing to go above and beyond to assist customers. I know I was pretty nervous getting all this setup, especially when I realized I had to set up the API's through all the various exchanges BUT TaxBit was right there with very helpful, very clear instructions on how to implement the APIs for all the main exchanges. Eddie became my MVP because I had one odd-ball amongst all the exchanges I use and that's HotBit, which TaxBit doesn't currently have a direct API with, so I had to extract all the trading info from HotBit (which was onerous btw because that's just HotBit) into an Excel doc but Eddie was willing to take it from there, he actually combined all the Excel docs I shared and he combined/curated them so that the final .csv would work seamlessly with TaxBit's system. If I had had to do all that myself I would have pulled my hair out. So give Eddie a raise and buy that man a years worth of coffee from his favorite coffee shop because he earned it as I'm sure I'm not the only client he did this for.
So thank you TaxBit for helping me with my 2020 tax filing. I'll see you in 2022 as we look to get things prepped for my 2021 filing.

Efficient, polite and helpful compared to the competition. Only suggestion is have screen of holdings and buy price and present price with gain or loss. Keep up the good work.

Used this for my crypto taxes this year, I was very pleased! I synched exchanges to it and it pulled all my transactions. I shudder to think how long it might have taken me to do it on my own. I will using this service again next year for sure!

I like Taxbit so far, fast to answer my questions and peace of mine for my taxes. Wish they wern't so expensive! :(

I have been happy with the service and the patience of the Tax Bit reps! They have been very helpful and friendly!

I like TaxBit so far, but it's too early to pass judgement because I haven't seen what happens at the end of the tax year when I'll get my summarization of the year's transactions. But so far it's very good, and I like TaxBit's chat function. The people are professional and always make sure my questions are answered.

Every thing needs to updated. your UI needs some ease of use. loading a wallet that your company does not have is brutal, like painful, and it takes forever.

I got the form needed for income tax purposes but I don't know how to check the balance in my wallet.

My concern is that when I make smart contract transactions on the Binance Smart Chain on PancakeSwap and some of the other DAPPs, they do not register on TaxBit. TaxBit should be able to follow a BNB that I buy through a CEX (crypto.com for me) as I transfer it to my BSC wallet and swap it for different coins using a DEX.

To me, this is the complicated portion of taxes. Using a CEX is easy to track taxes and many of these programs provide the appropriate 1099. I need TaxBit to actually follow my coins through different CEX and DEX across transfers and actually give me an accurate P/L for tax purposes and aggregate my transactions in a chronological order.

My fear is that the IRS is the best at tracking all of this and I've made so many transactions, that I need a program to pull it all together otherwise I'm going to have a bad time next summer when I get a letter from my favorite three-letter agency.
