I spent 6 months on this app — both in Asia and in the US. Out of maybe 200 “women” I conversed with, one or two were normal people seeking to make friends as the Tantan app advertises. All the other... See more

Every profile is fake

Every profile is fake, especially the Chinese girl photos. They all say I have a business in cosmetics, asthetics or clothing and have investments which is the lead into they want to scam your crypto. Be careful as a couple I played with are serious criminals with bogus crytpo trading platforms. If you use it, very simple to ask a girl to send a selfie right away and have her hold one finger on her nose or hold up a certain amount of fingers, if she does not do this right away or make an excuse or say we can do video call, just report the profile as fake and move onto the next fake profile, lol.

Fake - WhatsApp scammers galore

Fake App, every single one demand to do WhatsApp. Even their stated location is different from what their profile navigation GPS shows
“I’m from Manchester”!
“Erm your location shows Philippines”
“Does it??”
Chat goes dead and I get blocked again.

I advise you not to waste your money on this App like I did.

90% FAKE 3 month VIP

Often if I give my contact to a lady, Tantan says I am in violation, but not always. This means they want control. Many women do not talk , but we are matched. Therfore, FAKE profiles. 90% is fake.

I paid $38.99 for a 3 month SCAMMERS@@

I paid $38.99 for a 3 month subscription and had to pay via Google Pay which I did. 5 days later I am still not able to use any features and they repeatedly ask me to pay again. Customer Service is non existent. Have now reported this SCAM company to the ACCC. BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY AND DO NOT SUBSCRIBE BECAUSE YOU WILL DEFINITELY LOSE YOUR MONEY!!

Tantan used Google pay for payment of…

Tantan used Google pay for payment of their subscription but they don't say that you use their website for subscription. There are no instructions on how to enter the order number that you receive from Google, not sure who is scamming the poor consumer. Not sure who is in Australia and who is not. Their subscription method is useless, still waiting after 3days on how to subscribe

Got multiple charged with no refund recourse

Tried to subscribe for VIP. It failed. I tried a few more times to see if it will succeed and even picked different options and different cards. All attempts failed.

A day or so later I realized the attempts ALL charged me. I got charged MULTIPLE times for subscriptions I didn't get cause their app is buggy. But at that point it was too late and DISGUSTING Google rejected my refund requests within seconds with no appeal option. Told me to contact the app developer.

What app developer? These are Chinese scammers. They have no support. I've attempted to contact them multiple times. I can't get a refund and wasted away a bunch of money. Not to mention that 90% of the accounts on the app are romance scammers who will try to get you to send them money or "invest" together with them or some stuff like that.

The entire app is one giant scam. Both the developers are scam artists AND the 90% bot accounts. Stay away from this hot garbage.

😆 🤣 😂 shouldn't laugh at the fact of all the scammers on this app that are verified, I did my research and found that they can use an animated image to get photos of someone else verified as them, the scammers always find a way, such a disgrace as the company in blinded thinking the verified users are 100percent them, reverseimagesearch is a very helpful tool in tracking down the real people to confirm the person is fake

get banned easily even if you pay, lots of scammers

TLDR: get banned easily even if you pay, lots of scammers

1. A lot of scammers here. VIP member and I often get a message from the app saying I received a like, but even after an app restart there is no new like. Either that's fake, or the app is buggy because I've seen a bunch of likes shop up together sometimes.
2. Got banned for language. No idea what that was a bout because I didn't say anything bad. Eventually got unbanned after 5 days.
3. Got banned again because someone got offended. I know one girl got offneded by something I said, because she told me so. We talked for awhile longer, and she blocked me and reported me. So it seems you get banned after just one report. because I didn't talk to anyone else.

Beware tantan bans you for doing the right thing

Granted Tan tan is a smorgasbord of beauties online. But beware tantan ban users who report suspicious activities.

Most of the (English/Chinese) profiles are bait for a lover scam. The scam is very sophisticated. The scammers lure users off tantan by exchanging whatsapp numbers after asking for your location and your profession. The scammer tells you they were in your city for work/holiday but has left/returning soon. I went along with the script, eventually the scammer asks for a video chat to confirm shes not a catfish. The video chat is usually a quick intro from a different model and then she insists on communicating by texting only. The model hooks you with random video messages and provocative photos for a couple of days to keep your interest. But you can tell youre chatting to a different person by the grammar or its a tanslation/AI chatbot. Soon they pester you for redpacket gifts to show your appreciation/affection with empty promises. I posted many fake profiles after many failed attempts to report such cases. Tantan presummeably banned me because most scammers are paid subscribers. It does make you skeptical of the intention of women who add you. Keep up the hypocrisy in the name of profit.
Tantan is great entertainment and good for your ego while you are waiting in the airport lounge for your connecting flight. Sadly, tantan also doesnt let you appeal your ban. Lets hope truspilot can mediate a good outcome. 5415276859

It is ok app.....but there are many asian women who will ask you for your WhatsApp, they talk to you for a week or two and then they will tell you that they are making money invest in cryptocurrency, some will even show you snapshot of there earnings. They then ask whether you invest, if you say no they then offer to teach you how. If you say no then they write long message lecturing and trying to convince you about how investing will earn you extra money and make you life more comfort and you don't have to work so hard at you job. After that if you said no that you don't want to learn about investing in crypto currency, they will then stop talking to you altogether. I have meet three women who like that on this app so far.
