Delivery short, refund short, now being ignored....
Delivery was 100 litres short of quantity ordered, waited weeks for a refund of delivery shortfall, refund was less than the value of oil shortfall. Still trying to get it sorted. Now being ignored. Think I'll go back to using Boiler Juice, really not worth the hassle.

I ordered my oil on the 25th January
I ordered my oil on the 25th January, with a deliver on or before date of 11th February. I received a call on the 11th saying they had been delayed and they would get the oil to me the next day. I called and emailed asking for a confirmation, and was ignored for the next 3 days until my order was finally delivered on the 14th. Since then i haven't received any correspondence from Tank Topper to even apologise for the late order, as the price I paid was based on a 2 week delivery period but didn't receive the delivery for almost 3 weeks. As it was a particularly cold February, with a 1 year old and oil running low it was a stressful period of time. I had previously used Boiler Juice for a few years without an issue and switched to Tank Topper as they were cheaper, but I won't give them another chance now.

Avoid, I wish I had read the reviews before engaging this company.
Very poor service, no responses, they don't do what they promise over the phone, they just ignore your requests. We ordered heating oil and paid immediately as requested. Despite several phone calls requesting confirmation of our order and the payment made they would not provide a receipt or any written/emailed confirmation of our order, We couldn't believe that they expect a transaction of nearly £1200 to be only verbal and wouldn't provide a receipt or confirmation in writing. After many ignored phone requests they eventually sent a confirmation email 10 days later on the actual delivery day. When the tanker arrived the driver advised he didn't have enough oil to fulfill the order so we only got partial delivery and we will have to order the rest from another supplier. We immediately advised Tank Toppers of the problem and requested a refund for the oil which was not delivered. 10 days later we still hadn't received a refund or any response at all from Tank Toppers, they just ignore you.

I have used tank topper twice now &…we have been more than happy with there service. We will be using them again.
I have used tank topper twice now & have been more than happy with there service. The drivers are helpful. The oil came quicker than expected. My husband went to speak to the driver & said he was very polite & helpful.
The oil was a good price & we will be using them again.

The price was better than I had been able to find elsewhere and the ordering process was simple. My order 204021 arrived within the timescale promised and there was good communication with the delivery driver, including requests for directions to our off-the-beaten -track home.

Thank you for your excellent service. Last order 202515 the drivers spotted a leak from pipes. They informed me they couldn't fill tank, they wrapped pipe and explained where leaks were. Pipes were repaired and tank topper very promptly delivered my fuel. Would definitely recommend. I have used tank topper for quite a while now and have found them to be courteous and prompt with the deliveries..

Tank topper took my money and failed to…
Tank topper took my money and failed to deliver - there is a series of similar experiences on the reviews. I booked on line, they called two days later to take payment and confirmed the costs etc. one day later, they called to say there had been an error in the pricing and I either pay them the extra £117 or they can cancel the delivery. They kindly issued me a set of TC's by email which is nice of them!
They clearly took my money in a “unkind” ( I did say something else but Tank topper report it rather then resolving, spend more time acting like a professional business rather then spending time on defending!) way knowing that they are unlikely to get the price (note on line the price being quoted is the same!). they then try to get someone local to deliver for that price and in the meantime hope that your desperate for oil. Tank Topper are utter poor (again I said something else) and you should stay away. They will get a legal letter from me over the next few days because I will not sit back and see companies take advantage of customers in this way.

No delivery after 15 days
No delivery after 15 days, i will be contacting my credit card to inform the that they did not for fill the contract, and ask for a refund.
i will need to get an new reputable supplier to for fill this order at significantly more cost as an express delivery,
needless to say i will not be doing business with this company again. this company should be totally ashamed of your customer service or lack of it, no one answers the phone or emails just total rubbish.

Seriously don't waste your time
Seriously don't waste your time, 6 days late phone call after phone call one of which was hung up on me when asked to speak with a manager [shocking] lies and excuse's, couldn't care less. if they were selling there oil at 17 pence a litre i still would avoid like the plague. Aggravation you can do without, never again.

Took money but oil not delivered
Booked oil delivery on January 28th. Asked later that week to bring the delivery forward. TankTopper agreed and charged extra to do so. Delivery never arrived. When called to find out where delivery was, it turned out that the depot had never been given the new date, and they were still scheduled to deliver on the original date (today - 12 Feb). Delivery hasn't arrived. After a few calls to Tank Topper today, they had no news, but I managed to get the number of the depot. Called depot who told me that they only got the order from TankTopper today (!) and wouldn't be able to delivery today. Hopefully delivery will arrive later this week. Very unhappy customer.
