Inability to engineer correctly, and greed - Welcome to Talon Engineering

*this review is my personal experience and my own opinion*

"Inability to engineer correctly, and greed - Welcome to Talon Engineering."

So I innocently ordered 2 sprockets from Talon. When they arrived the rear sprocket was warped. I sent Talon a video proving that the rear sprocket did not sit flush on a totally flat surface, and that it wobbled. I sent the sprockets back for a refund and figured I'll go with Renthal. I should have done this in the first place. Talon emailed me today and said that the sprocket is within tolerance? And that they are going to charge me a 15% restocking fee without my permission. Firstly. For an engineering company, they should know, and do better. If they cannot engineer a flat sprocket then shame on them, but I will not, ruin a brand new chain because of their inability to engineer correctly. Secondly, they have also not refunded my postage costs. Just so you all know out there, it's very easy to take a company to your local small claims court, it's called Money Claim Online, and it's cheap. I will now summons them to my local court where they will have to accept liability and settle, or defend and attend, and we will have a judge look at my video, and they can decide if the sprocket was true or not. Do not let these clowns bully you and just take your hard earned money! There are distance selling regulations that will protect you from companies like this, and a bank charge back is also a possibility for some. I'm happy to supply my video to anyone that wishes to see it, or I could list it publicly on YouTube I suppose, so you can make your own mind up if you would be happy to spend your money on this wobbly sprocket. Spread the word on the forums of my experience to hopefully protect fellow bikers, and Talon... I'll see you in court.
