Taimi wasn't what it promised.I started out using their free app.
I started out using their free app.
You can send likes to other people yet they cannot view your likes because you are on the free app. If someone likes you, you'll get a notification that someone has liked you but you can't view their profile because you're on the free app and so are they. Same if someone sends you a message, you get a notification yet can't view the message 🤬.
You set the age range you'd like to view in and distance, yet this means nothing as people outside that age range can send you blurred likes and unreadable messages.
Once you come to the end of profiles in your age and area you can reset the people you skipped or widen the age and area.
So after a while I started paying for their cheapest (bronze) subscription.
This means I can send unblurred likes and messages to others 👍
Yet if someone sends me a message & they're not paying a subscription their message to me is still hidden & I can't view their profile as is their likes 🤬.
Once you come to the end of the age & area list, once again you can widen the search parameters, yet the option to retry your skipped profiles has now gone and there is nothing you can do about it.
This has been nothing but a waste of time, effort & a little bit of money.
Taimi is a nice idea yet run poorly.

Allow me to clarify that, although you need a premium subscription
to access the list of people who liked you without a mutual like (match), you can still like, match, and chat with users through Discovery. Only the list of people who liked you (not the people you matched with) is restricted to the premium version.
As soon as you match with someone through Discovery, both of you are notified of the match and are free to message one another. No subscriptions are required for this.
The subscription is only required to access the list of people who liked you without matching with them first using Discovery!
When setting up age or distance filters via your Profile, the results you find in Discovery will correspond directly with those preferences. Similarly, the same applies to other users.
As a result, you may receive an incoming Like from users that only match some of your interests. Subsequently, these users may also appear among your results in Discovery.
Naturally, when receiving incoming Likes, you remain in control of who you wish to interact with. You can remove the incoming Like, or if you truly don't wish to engage, you could block a profile from seeing you in the app entirely.
Finally, the option to reset your skips was reworked in a recent app release and now has the same functionality as the Throwbacks tab.
However, profiles you've skipped will occasionally reappear on Discovery to give you another chance at considering them. 😊
Hopefully, these clarifications will allow you to better understand the app's functionality and make the most of our free version!

When I purchased the app I was disappointed in my results finding Trans Women. Seth at customer service showed me how I made a mistake when setting up my profile. With a little help he had me finding a big increase in Trans Women. I’m very happy with the results

It’s damn expensive
It’s damn expensive, it’s probably 10 times expensive than most popular apps such as Hinge and bumble. It’s mostly for LGBT community and instead of helping seems like he’s scamming. I swear i am gonna open my own platform with almost free all access accessibility. This is crazy super expensive as hell. Dumb CEO, he should focus on attracting more clients with bit marginal profit rather than getting all the profits from few clients.

Taimi is okay that’s my rating because I feel like I’m being targeted and picked on by admin.
Taimi is a great site even though I have been flagged for simple things like saying I’m on the way to go buy me some food, if a person asks a question.. about what I’m doing…. at the moment!! my account has been flagged!!! several times for answering questions, based on what I was doing, at the moment. I think that’s very shallow because if I can’t give a real time update, to real individuals., about what I’m doing, then I seem like a fake person, but anything mentioning money, etc etc anything, buying a product, sending, receiving, monetization,, intentional or not smh, it will get you completely kicked off of Taimi,.. and that’s wrong, because for the simple fact that I’m a great person, none violent, none confrontational, very spiritual, and love people, and I feel like I’m the only one getting picked on honestly.. and yes, I’m an African American,.. Transgender!! That also,…works in corporate America.

Encouraging and consistent
The app is great, it helps my self esteem to see people are interested in me. I have not paid any money for it but it's been really helpful for finding friends as I've gone through a rough patch in life.
Support is responsive and the person that owns the company has posted on linkedin about things that are super meaningful to me.

This app used to be great but it sucks…
This app used to be great but it sucks now. Literally it is just trying to suck your money out of you. They have soulless, shallow features like “diamond dates” that they say are profiles curated for you, but its just a way of limiting the profiles you see as a way to get you to go premium. Why are the diamond dates always the more attractive profiles? Its incredibly shallow. They are monetising beauty standards and popularity. Its a twisted dystopian version of dating.
The positive reviews must be mostly bots because who the hell thinks this is a good thing?
