Major fault with RUG

I bought a small runner from Sydney Rugs online and there is a piece missing from the end of it.
The rug is clearly faulty. I sent a photo and text to Sara about the rug and she completely ignored me. They should be telling their customers that their rugs are cheap because they are faulty. I could take them to court and get my money back however its not worth the effort and I still like the rug. I am however putting a complaint in on the ACCC website and to fair trading.
What a shame on Sara and Sydney rugs for just ignoring customer with clear faults in their rugs.

Not responsive & not recommended

They really really need to do better in terms of following up a customer's inquiry.

I ended up ordering somewhere else, and also cheaper.

there are much better companies that you can deal with in sydney

DONT BUY FROM THEM

This company is so incompetent, would give 0 stars if I could. Definitely AVOID.
I spoke to Sarah BEFORE making my purchase and asked her if the rug I wanted was in stock. She told me it was so I then purchased it.
She then proceeded to send me the INCORRECT rug and said the rug I wanted was out of stock which she later removed the product from her website.
I asked for a full refund and I was not at fault. It’s been 3 WEEKS since my purchase and I receive a PARTIAL refund.
Sending me a partial refund when your company is at fault is unacceptable. I should not be liable for any shipping fees etc when everything was confirmed before purchasing.

The owner does not take responsibility and tries to make customers look like they are lying.
I in fact did NOT change my mind, it’s one thing to deceive customers but to make it out as if you didn’t send the wrong rug and is liable is purely evil.
She has both a silver and a grey rug selling. I have seen the silver in person so yes I know what it looks like prior to ordering. She in fact did NOT send the silver version. Please see attached images. Ever since I bought it from her she removed the silver off her website and only left the grey. Lucky for me I screenshot everything.
“It’s nice when people are honest in reviews isn’t it”.
They also DONT answer phone calls at all when though it’s advertised on their website, and if you text them with an issue they don’t respond

She replied trying to make me look wrong and that I changed my mind on Google reviews then deleted her comment after I posted screenshots …..

Bad service I received a rug two days ago which…

I received a rug two days ago which does not look like the one I purchased. Similar but not the same, has different colours and pattern on boarder. The woman “Sarah” said it is exactly the one you ordered despite me sending a photo to show it wasn’t. She said write back if there are further questions so I did. Now she won’t reply. Terrible customer service and false advertising of the product.

Good customer service

Good customer service. I asked for a cancellation and refund after the order was already processed (as I had found out the rug I'd purchased would no longer go with the interior) and they did it for me immediately. I would shop here in the future once I get a better idea of what I want.

I have had a really bad experience with…

I have had a really bad experience with this company. It is impossible to return an unsatisfactory item. They charge for shipping despite advertising free shipping and they are not at the address advertised. I will get rid of the rug as I have no alternative due to their refund policy. In addition their delivery policy is shocking leaving expensive rugs at the door if you are not home. No notice of delivery is available. Avoid this company at all costs.
