*Update*
We are pleased to share with you an important update regarding the November 2022 implementation of a 4% tariff by the Cayman Islands Government on the importation of all gold bullion products.
Following a thorough review by the Cayman Islands Customs and Border Control, the tariff implementation was found to be a misclassification error, leading to a full repeal of the 4% tariff on all gold coins (with the exception of numismatic coins). Currently, this does not include gold bars, but we are hopeful that there will be a similar outcome very soon.
All SWP clients wishing to move/buy and store gold bullion coins at our Cayman Islands offshore location can do so with immediate effect.

Shipping PM with SWP
My transaction involved shipping precious metals from my home to distant vault storage. My SWP account manager arranged contact with the logisitcs staff in Canada who were very co-operative and helpful in arranging the best air transportation. All in this involved about 25 emails. Execution was "as advertised" in all respects, and the deposit to the vault was well documented and proceeds registered to my account promptly.
My only difficulty has been paying for the shipping. I had elected to pay the shipping fee with VISA. I got the invoice when the shipment was completed, but there was no "link" to actually charge my VISA. I called Cayman for resolution and expect to receive a link soon.
This is the second complex PM shipping transaction I have had with SWP. The first involved moving metal from another vendor in Singapore to SWP Cayman. Both transactions were conceived and accomplished skillfully, on schedule, and without issues.
Great company to do business with!

I've done the research and SWP is the real deal!
I've done a lot of research about precious metal dealers and storage companies over the past 18 years. SWP offers competitive pricing, storage and delivery fees, and most importantly, they treat their customers right. I recommend SWP to any precious metals investor and use them personally for my purchases and storage.

Excellent Customer Service
I have a made a few gold purchases on SWP. Each time the gold products have arrived exactly as advertised and much faster than expected. Just last month UPS was trying to charge me extra on the import, but one quick email to SWP and their customer support team resolved the issue immediately and shipment arrived the next day. I would highly recommend SWP Cayman to anyone interested in gold purchasing and/or storage.
