Very poor
Very poor. I am still working after retirement and wanted to open a Swissquote 3a account to replace my UBS account. After applying there was poor negative feedback as to why nothing worked. Unfortunately I have given up on Swissquote for this. I am very disappointed as I founf Swissquote very good for other functions.

Shares transfer from an USA bank to Swissquote
I had to transfer certain shares from Morgan-Stanley in the USA to Swissquote. The overall experience was horrible. While Morgan-Stanley Customer Service at least tried to help me, I hit a wall at Swissquote. Unclear, obviously incomplete instructions, no possibility to talk to a human (normal Customer Care "cannot handle share transfers"), utter lack of interest in helping me as a client. It took me months and dozens of calls to effect the transfer.

Nothing for shorterm
Nothing for shorterm. Had to pull my money for a chance to invest my money differently. Had 25k invested, 1k in return. I was left with less then 200 CHF Return after my withdrawal. The rest got eaten by fees.

I’m in the process of closing my account :)
I’ve been a 8years customer of Swissquote. Everything was great until 2024—reasonable fees, helpfu customer support. However, between 2024 and 2025, they seem to have made some changes. The app has become more “modern style”. The fees have gone up but I find it difficult to reach customer service. I’m in the process of closing my account :)

SQ Bank for self made investors only
The SQ bank and app is made for self made investors. There is no support really if you have questions. Not sure if they have any people in their company at all. The platform works but is a bit clunky. Would not want to use it for eBanking. If you need a client advisor for your finances I would not recommend SQ.
