Money stuck in account. No internet connection error. Never put money into this app

Brought Swipii currency and cannot make any purchase in the app. It keeps showing "no internet access" for months and no reply to me for about a month. WORST experience ever!!!!!!

Never do these reviews but this company is driving me mad. They have had £150 of my money for 2 weeks now. Their app will not convert into a voucher and they do not reply despite many emails. AVOID!

An update to my most recent experience. I finally succeeded in buying the Tesco giftcard after at least 5 unsuccessful attempts and countless emails with Swipii Support since 12 Oct.

Swipii is such a rubbish app!!!

When I tried to buy a Tesco giftcard with ᵛGBP105, the following message popped up: "No internet connection. Please connect to the internet and try again."

This is the 5th time I encountered this problem within 8 months.

Used to use Swipii a lot when it offered 7% cashback on purchase of GBP points, but much less frequently after they reduced cashback to 5% as other platforms offer the same or even better.
Recently encountered quite a few technical issues when attempting to buy a gift card. No point of using it again.

I’ve been unable to purchase Swipii gift cards for over two months. I’ve contacted customer service many times, but every time they just say “there’s a system issue, it will be fixed soon” — yet nothing has ever been resolved.

Swipii relies entirely on its online platform to operate, but if that platform hasn’t been working properly for over two months, the company shouldn’t still be running. What’s worse is that I can still top up money into my account, but I can’t use it at all. Every time I talk to their support team, they just make excuses and delay the issue without offering any real solution.

Being able to put money in but not use it feels like a scam. I’ve completely lost trust in this company and want to warn other customers to be careful.

Bought £60 credits but unable to buy any giftcards. Support just provided AI generated responses

I topped up £50 into my Swipii wallet more than 10 days ago, but I still haven’t been able to use it. Every time I try, the app just says “ Something went wrong – We could not fulfil the order due to an issue with the supplier”. It’s very frustrating that after spending money, I cannot access or use the balance at all. Customer support hasn’t helped and this feels like a waste of money. Very disappointing experience.

Money added to my account however gift card purchase not working it just says no internet connection. (Finally managed to buy the gift card) 4 days on. Just to update.

Pay over 200, but can't buy any gift card, keep no internet connection, I should be a SCAM , please don't use it.

Bought £31 in Swipii wallet and can’t be used for more than 2 weeks!? Always response no internet connected. Don’t recommend to use this app anymore.

Keep showing “no internet connection” while I checkout for gift card purchase. I have spent £15 to get the points and now it can’t be used to purchase any gift card. It’s the second time I experience such problem. I just need my money back.

I can't buy any gift card since last week, always say, "No internet connection.." and no way to refund. Reported to the bank already.

I'm able to purchase the gift card, change back to 3-stars.

Until now you had 5 stars but now I have changed you to one star on Google Play there are applications that offer 3 times better cashback and are serious it doesn't change at all but maintains the seriousness disappointed what you did you did 2.5% cashback at Tesco

I deposited £100 into my account, but every time I try to make a purchase, I get an error saying there’s no internet connection—even though my internet is perfectly fine. There’s no clear way to withdraw my money or get a refund.

Added £250, tried to buy a Tesco gift card and it is repeatedly telling me I have no internet connection, despite my internet being fine. Seems to be no way to get my £250 back? Have put an immediate dispute in with my bank and hopefully get the money back that way otherwise I’m screwed. This scam app is simply stealing money??? AVOID!!!!!

Swipii has some problems in this two weeks. I cannot buy anything by using the balance in the Swipii. Why?

Use Swipii daily for supermarket shopping and mostly ASOS to get some great discount. Even a small amount back add's up overtime to get a nice little freebie

To verify your payment method, it charges £1 but refunds it as non-withdrawable v£1 points.

Cashback works the same way—you earn points that can only be used within the app, potentially trapping you in a spending loop.

Additionally, there’s no in-app support for assistance.
