An update to my most recent experience. I finally succeeded in buying the Tesco giftcard after at least 5 unsuccessful attempts and countless emails with Swipii Support since 12 Oct.

Swipii is such a rubbish app!!!

I’ve been unable to purchase Swipii gift cards for over two months. I’ve contacted customer service many times, but every time they just say “there’s a system issue, it will be fixed soon” — yet nothing has ever been resolved.

Swipii relies entirely on its online platform to operate, but if that platform hasn’t been working properly for over two months, the company shouldn’t still be running. What’s worse is that I can still top up money into my account, but I can’t use it at all. Every time I talk to their support team, they just make excuses and delay the issue without offering any real solution.

Being able to put money in but not use it feels like a scam. I’ve completely lost trust in this company and want to warn other customers to be careful.

I topped up £50 into my Swipii wallet…


I topped up £50 into my Swipii wallet more than 10 days ago, but I still haven’t been able to use it. Every time I try, the app just says “ Something went wrong – We could not fulfil the order due to an issue with the supplier”. It’s very frustrating that after spending money, I cannot access or use the balance at all. Customer support hasn’t helped and this feels like a waste of money. Very disappointing experience.

SCAM! AVOID! Once you add money you can’t buy anything or get it back!!!!

Added £250, tried to buy a Tesco gift card and it is repeatedly telling me I have no internet connection, despite my internet being fine. Seems to be no way to get my £250 back? Have put an immediate dispute in with my bank and hopefully get the money back that way otherwise I’m screwed. This scam app is simply stealing money??? AVOID!!!!!
