I prefer Bunning warehouse than Swimart

I prefer to deal with Bunning Warehouse than Swimart Bundall.
In Bunning you allowed to replace damaged products within minutes due to quality assurance of thier products. Our experience with Swimart's product is covered with 1 year warranty where this product was damaged two times less a year of purchase and replaced. Then the last third damaged, Swimart is waiting for the manufacturer response for at 20 days. I have asked them to replaced third time as Bunning practices.
No, they are waiting for the manufacturer response.
I think they are selling third quality products, not like Bunning Warehouse.

Highly recommended business

I have been a customer at Swimart Tingalpa for the last 5 years and have always found their staff extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the products and services they offer at the store. They are always on time with jobs and services they provide off site and very reasonable with their pricing. I would absolutely recommend this business to anyone.

Swimart - professional and efficient service

I bought my pool equipment about 2 years ago. This included a heat pump, chlorinator, sand filter and pool pump. I didn't feel that the installation went too smoothly back then and the installer had to return a number of times to rectify some issues. I recently had quite serious issues with my pool equipment. The pump, filter and chlorinator stopped working. I reported the issues to Swimart in Belconnen who were under new management. I was promptly contacted by Dave, general manager of Swimart Erindale who tended to my issue. He was very helpful and professional in his dealings with me. He assessed the situation and quickly found the source of the problem. I felt reassured by his knowledge and level of concern. A few days later Van from Swimart attended my premises and replaced the faulty equipment. He was friendly and highly efficient, explaining the work he carried out, and providing much useful information. My pool is functioning perfectly now, and I am very grateful for the prompt service that Swimart provided to resolve the problem especially to Dave and Van. I highly recommend this company and it's staff for all you pool needs.

Buyer beware: Will take your cash but no guarantee

I was a loyal customer of Swimart Castle Hill for past 5 years, however am appalled at new store management attitude and lack of accountability and customer service. Store Manager happy to collect your cash then takes no accountability with customer satisfaction or product claims they have made when selling. This is disappointing as their staff in store were quite helpful and I had years of great service until the change in management.

After taking my Dolphin s300i for service I was recommended to send it off to Maytronics to inspect by their helpful staff. I was informed there was an issue that would cost $1500 to repair and was recommended to replace with equivalent and newer Hydro Plus model for $2500 instead. Upon purchasing & receiving the Hydro Plus (no model in store to inspect), I learned there is no functional control (only on/off), no fine filter inner basket, and no ability for user to control where to direct the robot to clean. Immediately I requested my old Dolphin s300i back but I was told this was disposed of, which I never approved. Regardless I attempted multiple cleans over a 7 day period and discovered the Hydro Plus highly ineffective. Not only was there leaf debris at the bottom but there were clear areas of the floors, walls and waterlines that had never been touched. In addition, the robot would frequently spin mid-water, lose grip on the walls and go off in random directions.

Upon escalation first to Swimart, I was requested to bring the robot in for inspection. I tried to remove and clean the basket however the flimsy plastic latch was jammed and I didn't want to force and break it, but was asked to leave it in the store for inspection. After a week I called again and was informed as I had already used it, it was working fine in their view and I needed to keep the model I had purchased. I located the Store Manager's details and strongly escalated my concerns relating to lack of performance vs prior Dolphin model and strongly requested escalation to Maytronics for review. This time he listened, ran some tests and confirmed that Hydro Plus was misguided, spinning mid-water and potentially an electronic issue so he was going to raise with Maytronics.

After another month of no pool cleaner, I was informed a plumber would come out to install the new Robot at 7am. Despite rearranging my day, 3 text msgs and multiple phone calls to store confirming he was on his way, he finally arrived more than 6 hours later. By this stage I had given up but found another time when I could next rearrange to accommodate. This time the plumber arrived with what looked like the original Hydro Plus. The plumber was unable to explain what the issue was, what had been repaired (if any) but put it in my pool and said it is doing the best job this model can do. Upon challenge of the lack of cleaning for floors, walls and waterline, he insulted the choice of plants around the pool, blamed the shape of the pool (inc steps) and explained I must have 'got lucky' with my older Dolphin s300i model for possible reasons this model was ineffective.

Regardless I attempted to clean the pool with the returned Hydro Plus multiple times over the next week and same issue: Unable to effectively clean the floor, walls and waterline despite the product claims and recommendation by staff. I called Maytronics to get advice and they requested I take it back to address at the Swimart store where I purchased, as this is the process for all retail consumer contracts. Undeterred I again escalated to Store Manager to request refund for this ineffective model and was appalled at his response. The Store Manager told me: I was not to bring the product back as Swimart would 'throw it in the bin and there would be no record' His Swimart store would only refund me if he was refunded from Maytronics first. In his view the robot is fine, my money is gone and I'm stuck with the robot 'case closed'

It is now 5 months without an effective pool robot, my issue remains unresolved and I am $2.5k out of pocket. I strongly recommend all potential Swimart Castle Hill customers to take your business elsewhere.

Extremely Poor Customer Service…

Extremely Poor Customer Service Experience

During a recent call to Swimart Enoggera, I encountered extremely poor customer service from Kevin. Kevin was exceptionally rude, responding to my queries with a dismissive and aggressive tone.

The purpose of my call was to inform Swimart Enoggera that my invoice had been sent to the incorrect email address. I wanted to resolve this issue promptly to ensure that payment to Swimart could be received without any further complications and delay.

However, when the conversation escalated, Kevin decided to abruptly hang up on me… stating,” he thought the conversation was over”.

I expected a lot more professionalism and respectful communication from someone who is the proud owner and operator of Swimart, Enoggera.

Overall, this experience has been highly disappointing and has negatively impacted my perception of Swimart Enoggera. I hope that steps will be taken to improve the quality of customer interactions and to handle basic issues with the necessary professionalism and respect.

“Terrible Service and Arrogant Ownership – Avoid at All Costs!”

Since the new owners took over this store, it has gone completely downhill. The new main owner, who occasionally makes an appearance while leaving most of the work to inexperienced younger staff, is one of the rudest, most arrogant, and unprofessional people we’ve ever dealt with. His condescending attitude and complete lack of respect for customers make every interaction unnecessarily unpleasant.

My wife regularly visits the store to proactively maintain our pool by getting water tests and purchasing the required chemicals. Despite her efforts to do the right thing, she’s repeatedly treated poorly. Instead of providing helpful advice, the owner makes her feel inadequate and unwelcome, as though she’s doing something wrong by even asking for assistance. To make matters worse, they frequently refuse to perform water tests, even though the store advertises them as a free service. The staff has told her multiple times that they only conduct tests once a month, which is completely unhelpful and goes against the purpose of regular pool care.

This dismissive and unprofessional behavior has become a recurring pattern. My wife has left the store upset on several occasions due to the outright arrogance and lack of customer care. Rather than assisting or educating their customers, the owner and staff seem determined to make people feel like a burden. For a store that should rely on its community for business, the lack of respect and professionalism is shocking.

We live just two minutes away from this store, and it would have been our go-to location for pool supplies. However, we’ve decided never to return and will actively warn our neighbors to avoid this place as well. Instead, we’re happy to drive much farther to locations like Castle Hill, Minchinbury, or even Liverpool just to avoid the dreadful experience of dealing with this owner and his poor service.

If you value professionalism and decent customer service, do not shop here. The consistent lack of respect and unwillingness to support customers makes this store one to avoid at all costs.
