I rather give no stars

I rather give no stars. This place is a joke. Pay $1495 for a complete engine and I never received it until last week ago. These clowns send me a 2002 engine to my mechanic and I was told by my mechanic that it does not fit at all it's a 10 socket I need a eight socket. SW engine talking about they only sell block engines. Smfh s&w need to go out of business and I'm going to see to it by making a complaint in that state for false advertisement to customers. Save yourself the headache and do not I repeat do not do business with these clowns.

They Stole my money

They Stole my money. I returned the motor engine already last February 19, 2021 but the SW engines didn’t refund my money. I lost my 770 dollars. They only refund me 87.00 dollars. There customer service is horrible. The voice is not accepting calls. And the refund will take 14 days. But not given to me. Stay away from SW engines they just gonna take your money. And the take the motor. I will still fight for my refund. SW is not true in Business. And there messenger commerce site will block you from sending messages.

Absolutely the worst business...

I bought an engine from them last March. Shortly after everything shut down due to cornavirus... I recently was able to get a shop to swap the engines for me. My trusted mechanics said this engine looked like it had sat in water for YEARS. it was rusted entirely on the bottom. This company claimed that engine I bought had 27k miles on it and after tracing the vin number on the motor it turns out this engine had over 150k miles on it. I called the company and was basically told they wouldn't take my complaint due to the 90 day warranty expiring. I explained to them that all the auto shops in my small town had been closed due to the pandemic and had no way of knowing this would happen. The jerk then said its after the 90 days and they wouldn't take my complaint and hung up on me.... this place is a sham and a disgrace to business. Do not do business with these people.

The worst business ever

The worst business ever. I bought an engine from them 3 weeks ago and till date I'm still waiting for it. I Had so many promises of delivery from them. When I called the main number, I was transferred to a shipping agent who claims he does not know what is going on. Each time I call, I hear a new story. Big scammers.

NEVER EVER DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY - Read this review if you value your time and money!

We had a horrible experience with this company. We purchased a used motor online on a Saturday afternoon, but on Sunday we found a motor that was local and we could have in our hands right away, so we called SW Engines on Monday morning at 8:00 AM. We asked if they had started on our order and they admitted they hadn't even started on our order yet (it wasn't even in their system for 36 hours AND over a non-business day.) We would have needed to wait at least 10-14 days to receive their motor once it had been started, so we asked them to cancel the order. They would ONLY cancel the order by sending us an email link and we were FORCED to check a box that stated they can withhold 25% of any orders that were cancelled and they forced us to pay them $973.21 for an order that they never started on. This was the only way they would cancel the order and refund us. No exceptions. Their email link that they forced us to click on and check those boxes made them contractually LEGAL to KEEP $973.21 from us for an order they never even started to send to us. All they needed to do was cancel the order from their system and they feel justified in KEEPING almost a $1000 from us for an order they never completed any work on. If they had already pulled the used motor out of their salvage yard and had prepared it to ship, we would understand they are owed for their time and materials, and we could understand and justify a withholding from our refund for their time/materials, but they only needed to cancel an order from their computer system. That's it!! The dispute process revealed that their forced "checking the box" email link they send to customers to cancel an order gives them "legal justification" to keep 25% of the total invoice for their handling fees. Horrible people and horribly unfair billing practices!!! This is a legal way to STEAL from honest, hard-working people. We learned a hard lesson from this and we are sharing this with others to hopefully prevent others from experiencing the same. Google "SW Engines" and read the articles that come up at the top of the search list about lawsuits that have been raised against them and you will find proof of others who have experienced horrible outcomes with them. (Yes, we wish we would have before we attempted any business with them too. Lesson learned.)

Worst company I've ever dealt with. Ordered motor for a customer, lost customer because motor didn't show up for 45 days. Then the aholes kept 25% for "restocking". Never got a tracking or anyone to answer a call. These guys are crooked con artists and are getting away with it.

Bad experience from the very beginning

Bad experience from the very beginning. Waited over 1 month for the engine to arrive. It arrived broken and I also received the wrong engine. Cost me over $800 extra dollars to resolve the issue. Filed a warranty claim and sent emails for over a month with no response. Once I finally got in touch someone months later I was told that "there was nothing that they can do for me" I will never do business here again and I do not recommend them.

This may be the worst company I have ever dealt with. Ordered a Suzuki sidekick motor from them. Sent the complete wrong motor. Told them this numerous times and they stated I had to hire a certified mechanic to swap parts on it and it will work. When the mechanic had time to get back on it. Time was up on the warranty. They would not take it back or make any other arrangements. Representative said it was my problem now. They are complete jokers and yes more so scammers

I purchased an engine for a 2013 Ford Fusion on sept 22nd. It’s not oct 17 th I was told it be here in two weeks I’ve called 50 times ten voicemails and no one will call me back my cars sitting at jiffy lube in Muncie ind and I can’t get no one to answer to tell me where my engine is. What a scam. We are filing a law suit and a claim for money back they won’t answer they won’t get me my engine or even answer to give me my money back. I would never order anything ever again from aw engines. It was suppse to be a 35 thousand mile engine with 5 year or 50 thousand mile warranty. But if I can’t even get my engine I paid 1200 for how could I ever get a warranty that came with it. My name is jason oneal in Muncie ind 765-215-4789 what a shame to trust this place and no get no answer or call back and haven’t even gotten my engine was told I’d have it in two weeks it’s now been a month and I’m afraid it’s the same as all the other reviews this is so disappointing when I could gotten one a city away and gotten it myself I trusted these guys for there service and warranty now they won’t call back they pass u around on ext and lie and then when u call back they send u around to voicemails what a shame. We are calling bbb and start fraud agency every should complain and get these scammers shut down this is a huge shame and scam place.
