This morning we received a text from you advising us that you had received a damaged item in your order and that you had previously reported it to us via email. After checking our inbox, I still cannot locate your original email, but I had responded immediately asking you for photographic evidence of the damaged item along with a picture of the box it arrived in, including the label.
We ask for this because if we need to claim for damaged goods from our couriers, they would expect us to provide this to them before they would consider our claim to be authorised.
You responded immediately saying how "ridiculous" this was. We were about to ask you for confirmation of the original email you sent to us, but within minutes of your last text, Unfortunately, you supplied this negative review without giving us the opportunity to rectify this matter with you personally. However, you did also send us a screenshot of the original email, and it does show a picture of the damaged box (Which we needed to process your refund). So, to resolve this, we have refunded you for the damaged goods. Bearing this in mind, I would like to believe that you would consider reviewing this 1 star review in light of this information.
We work hard to ensure that our customers have the best possible experience when shopping with us, and want to swiftly react to any issues whenever they might occur, which we feel we have done in this instance.
Holly, I was hoping you would consider upgrading the 1 star review. I feel that it is completely unfair to give a 1 star review when you had a FULL REFUND! especially as we were not afforded the opportunity to rectifiy the situation. Please could you kindly consider revising this review in light of the full refund.

Been using sweetieshoppie ever since I started my small sweet business. They have been my sweet supplier since I started my business and will be for the future. I have placed many orders small and big. Always arrived in short time aswell which is brilliant. I have contact with nick who has massively helped me with my emergency sweet order that I needed ASAP and from order time morning they was hand delivered to me the same day in the evening. Absolutely great experience and absolutely great with communication. Sweets are brilliant very tasty and a really good price cheapest I’ve seen. Both tubs of sweets I got the seals…
Both tubs of sweets I got the seals have been broken and off it had been opened way to content and I was Short of what was meant to be in there. The fire trouble was nice but I found that I can find it cheaper and get more for my money elsewhere.

All of our items come direct from the wholesalers and we do not open these at all. If you had reported any broken seals to us we would have resolved this immediately. Its a shame that you didn't contact us about this issue!
Even more concerning, is that we don’t sell "fire trouble" or anything remotely like that and having checked your order was for some Fudge and Sweetie Pouches so I really don’t understand this comment. Are you sure that this was something The Sweetie Shoppie supplied? Furthermore, regarding getting it cheaper elsewhere, I really don’t understand this comment as we didn’t supply this? really confused...
But regardless, we have thousands of happy customers who tell us that our pricing is and has always been extremely competitive especially compared to amazon pricing.
If you would like to contact us personally I will happily look into this further.

Placed an order, after a week, it still hadn’t arrived. Order cancelled. They choose to use a courier company called ‘Caribou’. They’re absolutely appalling.
Update : The two stars are for your communication.
My order was placed on the 2nd, standard postage ( as per your website) is 2-4 days. Express postage is 1-3 days. Order placed on the 2nd, I emailed you on the 7th, 9th & 10th. On the 12th ( 7 working days after my order was placed ) you told me, you’d refunded me. The absolute least, you should have done ! I wouldn’t class it as a gesture of good will ! You refunded money for something I did not receive!
You sell perishable items, it’s your responsibility to ensure they are delivered in an acceptable time frame.
Nick, if your adding comments, make sure they’re accurate. You’re just talking bulls***. And not doing your business any favours. My review was originally based on your transport.
The facts - I told you to cancel my order on the 7th, I informed you it would be refused on delivery. On the 8th, you never mentioned, you’d cancelled my order. You actually further informed me they were still in transit. On the 9th, you advised me the item would be delivered the next day or the following Monday ( 7 working days ) after I ordered. When I emailed you, on the 12th,
( 10 days after my order was placed ) you informed me you’d cancelled my order ! I’d add screenshots, if I could.
FYI, refunding a customer is standard practice, when an order doesn’t arrive. It’s not a gesture of good will !

Thank you for taking the time to review the Sweetie Shoppie. Although, I was extremely disappointed to receive 2 stars.
I just want to point out a few facts in relation to this transaction:
The order was placed on Friday afternoon. Orders on a Friday afternoon would usually be dispatched on Monday, but we were fortunate to be able to dispatch the same day.
6.30 am Wednesday morning we received an email from you demanding to know where youir order was. We responded to your email within 5 minutes advising you that your order was diapached on a standard 2 to 4 day delivery service. This would have meant that your order would be with you by Friday. I also advised you that if you would have slected Express Delivery, you would have received your order by Tuesday.
We then received emails form you on Thursday demanding to know where your order was. We Advised once again that you should receive your order by Friday, and again mentioned that Express delivery options were availbale at checkout, but you did not select them. You told us that would not accept the delivery and you wanted a full refund.
We received another email on Friday morning asking again where your order was. I advised you that I had contacted Caribou on the preveous afternoon to cancel your shipment and return the goods to us. This is not something that we would do, but on this occasion we did.
We have responded to every email from in good time, even outside of working hours. We want to resolve any issues our customers may face in a timely manner, but this was out of our controll as you did not select Express Delivery. Our shipping policy clearly states that you will receive your order 2 to 4 days after dispatch, and your order was perfectly within the time frame for delivery.
Regarding the Courier – We process over 500 shipments per week and we are in constant daily contact to ensure that any issues are swiftly resolved. I can clearly state that they deliver 95% of our parcels in the agreed timescales
In hindsight, I would suggest that when placing online orders it could be useful if you upgraded the delivery services for urgent deliveries as this would have clearly avoided this issue.
I am now also disappointed that I fully refunded you as unfortunately this gesture of goodwill went unappreciated.

Tom, The order was placed on the 2nd (Which was a Friday afternoon). We dispatched next working day (Monday the 5th) on a 2-4 day delivery service (Which means that you would recieve the items by the 9th. You requested the order be cancelled on the 7th which I did. This was before the due delivery date. There was no reason for you to chase me on the 9th 10th or 12th. The refund was a gesture of goodwill which was unappreciated. As I said previously, if you needed the items delivered within 2 working days then it would have been appropriate to upgrade the delivery to a next working day option. Once the order was dispatched and with the couriers there is nothing we can do other than cancel the order which I did (at our cost) when requested.
