We would like to explain that our technicians carefully select replacement batteries based on extensive testing and performance standards. When we install a brand-new battery, it is intended to function just like an original one. The drastic drops in battery percentage and reboots you described are clear signs of abnormal behavior that should not happen. Unfortunately, electronic components can sometimes fail unexpectedly, and we are truly sorry that this impacted your device.

To resolve this under warranty, we do need to receive the phone back for inspection and repair. Regrettably, we do not have the facility to provide loaner phones or send a replacement unit prior to receiving the original device. While we realize this is inconvenient, this policy is standard practice across many electronics retailers. We sincerely hope you will still consider sending the phone in so that our team can fix this for you and ensure your device works reliably.

Regarding the device you traded in with us, we checked our system and located the order. The initial quote of €157 was based on the condition selected as "Almost new" in the online form. However, upon technical inspection, the condition was adjusted to "Very good" with the price of €115 due to visible signs of use and minor cosmetic imperfections.

We are truly sorry that your overall experience with Swappie has been disappointing, but we remain fully committed to making things right through our warranty service.

Even if a battery has been replaced, it is designed to perform just like an original part, and we are very sorry that you experienced anomalies with yours.

We notify you that a part has been replaced only after the purchase because we handle a vast inventory of devices with various configurations. Once a specific device is assigned to your order, we send you the detailed information about that exact phone. General information regarding our batteries is always available in our Terms and Conditions and in the dedicated battery section on our website.

Regarding our warranty service, once a phone is received for repair, the process typically takes about 7 business days (excluding shipping times). Our team works as quickly as possible to restore your device and always takes your preferences into account, including requests for replacements. While our warranty team makes the final determination based on technical diagnostics, we unfortunately cannot offer temporary loaner phones during the repair period — this is a standard procedure across most electronics retailers.

It is deeply disappointing that the first phone you received did not meet your expectations. Regarding the battery issues on the second device, this should definitely not be happening. A battery must be fully functional, and shutting down randomly or dropping percentage drastically after just two months is certainly abnormal behavior. Unfortunately, technical faults can sometimes occur with electronic devices.

We also sincerely apologize for not providing a proper response sooner. We never ignore our customers' inquiries and process every message in the order it is received.
