I had an excellent experience at the Amsterdam West store. I turned up on a whim without an appointment after feeling like it was time to get a bike. David was amazing through the entire process. I was offered a small frame bike (as I’m quite short) and given the opportunity to test ride it. Despite a huge line of customers, David met each person with complete ease and this unhurried energy. He gave full attention to whoever he was supporting. I feel my experience was 10000x better because of his kind and patient energy, while I was clunkily figuring out the bike. I felt totally comfortable signing up on the spot and was provided all the information I’d need going forward. I’ll say it again — this guy, David, is a one in a million when it comes to customer service people these days. You could tell every person he interacted with was immediately calmed by his full presence despite waiting in line. He was patient with every single person, even with all our perhaps novice questions that he would have heard a million times.
Give this guy a raise!
Oh, also, great product, great service. Loving it so far.

Useless repair system.
They have one of the most useless repair systems. It’s like when they change my damaged bike they just give me another damaged bike. I don’t expect new but I’m expecting a repaired one. It’s so annoying.

Helpful but faulty bike
The support was quick and efficient. I got my bike replaced, but the new bike has some gear issues. So not happy with the fact that a new bike still has issues and this has not been properly checked.

The bike I was given had almost flat tires and also the gear changing device is not precise: I switch gear and it doesn't always actually do that.

Great customer service and easy to reach. The bikes are reliable and you get a biannual check-up for free - if there is any issue with your bike, they fix it or you get a new one. Just super convenient.

Accommodating, with quick service!
I walked in without appointment to add air to my tires and they did so with no hesitation, and by their own initiative tightened my chain (which dramatically improved how the bike rides) and straightened my handlebars. Great service and super fast, very accommodating!
