Since adding the doorbell the system is…

Since adding the doorbell the system I have found it to be extremely slow to notify and load on my phone often resulting in the visitor leaving before I can even get it loaded on my phone! I have had this issue in numerous areas whether I am on a clients WiFi or over 4/5g network carriers. This unit was £169.00 but truthfully it isn’t any better than my old unit in fact I’d say it was slower? should have just bought a new £40 Amazon special.

Good WiFi connection-much better than Arlo. Still able to use without buying a monitoring package which is not useful out in our very rural area.

I received the product I ordered…

I received the product I ordered without issue. The problem is how many items listed on SWANN website that are OUT OF STOCK. most of the items on the Swann Catalog are not available.

Wouldn’t purchase again.

Batteries on cameras only stay charged for a few hours. I had to purchase separately solar panels for each camera which did solve the issue.

There is a 3-8 second lag from camera to phone. That is not good.

There doesn’t seem to be any way to view from a computer specifically Mac. No app or website.

Regarding the 3–8 second delay, there are several factors that can contribute to this with wireless cameras. Network strength, internet speed, distance from the router, and the camera’s motion sensitivity or notification settings can all impact how quickly footage appears on your phone. Swann Pan and Tilt camera

I have my home covered with swann cctv two systems and have done for the past five years, I have two pan and tilt cameras which are very good and i wanted another two but have been let down with swann as they dont make any pan and tilt cameras anymore, Whats wrong with swann other companys are leading the way, maybe its time for a change if swann cant get it toghether the camera is SWNHD-900PT come on swann (pan and tilt) ?? make the effort..... In reply to swann and thank you!! i have phoned swann for compatability camera and the answer from swann was that they havent tried any other cctv cameras with their systems. also i have tried every where for this item with no succsess at all

While we don’t have a confirmed timeframe for when or if this model will be restocked, you may still be able to find the NHD-900PT / SWNHD-900PT through other authorized retailers or online stores that may still have remaining inventory.

Customer Service is lacking and may not get results.

The product itself is fine. I give it a lower rating because we received a defunct camera in our 6-camera system. The process to work through for a replacement has been very tedious. At this point, we may not even get a replacement. It seems they are out of stock of the camera we need for our system.

I have asked about a refund for the value of the defunct camera. Nothing yet.

Customer Service is definitely lacking with Swann Security. Had I known it would be like this, I would not have gone with this particular system. Definitely shop around.

Appalling customer service poor product

Appalling customer service. Have ripped me off with a camera that doesn’t work, won’t hold charge, the app doesn’t work and you can’t get play back and won’t refund me despite me spending hours online and on the phone. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM!

Disappointed

I bought 2 new Swann SWPRO-4KMQB cameras to upgrade 2 Swann DVR cameras bought as part of an 8 camera DVR kit purchased in 2018.

Not sure exactly what I was expecting, apart from better quality display and night time pictures.

Unfortunately, the new ones are very poor quality overall:
- Plastic casing and base, whereas previous ones have steel casing and base
- daylight quality is basically the same as the previous ones
- night time picture is worse quality due to less IR lights on the camera - 4 IRs on the new ones (2 pairs on each side of the lens), several IRs in a ring around the lens on the old ones

Swann no longer sell the original cameras, so I guess if I need to upgrade then I will have to look for another supplier.

I was surprised to find a fast delivery…

I was surprised to find a fast delivery from the date ordered. Well packaged cameras that were inside another sturdy box. My old system broke, so i needed these cameras fast and they came super fast! Swanns systems are always organized well and set up is quick also. My only suggestion is to go back to the wireless mouse. I like to use it when i am sitting in my recliner, but with the wired mouse i have to keep getting up to adjust things. I went to store and was able to get a wirless mouse and hook it to the Swann system. All in all, Swann is still the best around! Thank you so much for the crisp video recording!
