I purchased arm arm-load of items back…

I purchased arm arm-load of items back in 2020 for an absolute steal. It was an amazing find. Fast-forward a few years later and it's absolute $hite. They've been acquired by some other company, and as a result, they no longer offer 1/100th of the apparel they used to. They might as well have just trashed the entire thing, because it's absolutely useless now. Well done new parent company. Two thumbs up!!

Great no issues yet

Purchased from them twice. Once in 2021 and another time in 2022 because the website sells cheaper birkenstocks than the websites HQd in USA. I was pleased both times.

Have been using Surfdome for years but…

Have been using Surfdome for years but ,since that have been bought out ,how things have changed ,un usable website delays in refunds and in some cases no refund ,
I have always recommended surfdome but can not anymore ,

Such a shame ,ill have to buy my ski gear else where , still waiting for my order which was ordered 19 days ago and still no sign ,have been told it was despatched but that's where it ends,
I'm now finish with them and will order from eles were ,

No Refund - Like Other Reviewers

The same thing has happened to me as some other reviewers - I sent my order back for a refund only to be told they had received the goods back but they were not going to issue a refund as a new company had bought them out. Morally indefensible and should be illegal.

SCAM

Absolutely horrible experience and a scam, I made an order which I had to return and got the notification that it had being processed and my funds would be returned but it has not being the case. When I emailed about it they replied saying that they had being acquired by another company and they aren’t taking care of refunds. It has being impossible to reach oil. Would not recommend at all!!!!

Beware - Total scam

Total scam. I returned an item and was sure to follow return instructions exactly. I covered the cost of return. I received notifications that the return had been received and then a second notification to say it had been processed. But over a month later no sign of the funds being returned to my account. I contacted Surfdome who said the company has been acquired by another company and so would no longer be facilitating outstanding returns or refunds. When I queried this and asked to have the item I payed for returned to me, they just sent back the exact same reply. So now I have simply lost my money and have nothing to show for it. Appalling. I will be pursuing this issue further.

Advice: avoid Surfdome and their new owner, BrandAlley, like the plague.

Horrific experience

Horrific experience, do not purchase from this company - the return fee is extortionate and when you have confirmation that your items have been returned back to them, you still cannot get your refund nor a response to several emails. I have escalated with my financial institution for a charge-back and will also be making a legal complaint to the the regulators applicable.

Second complaining review about same item

I wrote a complaining review earlier having found it impossible to return an item to Surfdome. The company responded promptly saying that a colleage would "reach out" (ugh) to me. But they failed to contact me. I have a swimsuit which cost over £100 and is very nice, but doesn't fit me and I want to return it. Looks like I'm going to be stuck with it.

Truly awful experience

ruly awful experience. Ordered 3 items and it took over a week for the parcel to arrive. When Evri finally delivered the parcel, it was left at my back door by the courier and was clearly open (he rang the bell but didn't wait for me to answer). I ran out after him but he was gone. When I inspected the open parcel, only one of my items was enclosed (the two North Face items were missing). I immediately reported to Surfdome who said they would have to investigate with the courier. That was 8 days ago and I'm just getting the run around from Surfdome support saying the parcel was the correct weight for all three items - it wasn't as it was open with only a single item enclosed. It feels like they don't believe me. I'm extremely unhappy with the situation, I paid for three items two and a half weeks ago, only one has been delivered and I'm nearly £100 out of pocket. Should have read these reviews before purchasing - sort it out Surfdome

AVOID THIS COMPANY

Do not use - AVOID. Used their returns procedure to return a number of items and they have sat in the courier service's hub for 2 months with no update and no sign of a refund, only keep being told it is 'with the courier' with no sign of any updates or progress. Disgraceful, appalling customer service, I have no faith I am ever going to see my money back and customer service are doing nothing to help.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY.

they seem to be a scam
australian .com.au website....

i ordered bathers from my daughters school swimming lessons well ahead of time, swimming lessons are over and they haven't arrived

all their e-mails are do not reply.... hmmmm

so i go to online chat, it's 9pm... she/it/whatever says 'good morning' then claims she's not a fake website

claims my order from this australian website is being sent from the UK

i tell her she's a fraud and i want my money back, full refund, she says ok that's fine don't accept the package.... gee, i didn't know i could do that, nothings signed for and if it were it would just be sent to the post office for me to collect!!!

says we will refund it, no worries, only with really bad spelling

i say your tracking numbers are rubbish, you're a scam, and she sends me a link to a DAI website and some random tracking number.

Does everyone else get 00393580940008228577 ?

I tell her again she's a scam and surfdome should not be advertising as shipping from australia if they ship from the UK, if that is even true... i'm giving her the benefit of the doubt here....

she says she'll send a link to make a complaint,

I tell her get a real job and stop stealing off people, don't you get sick of these e-mails, and she ends the call.

that's after saying if it were a fake company there wouldn't be customer service.... idiot obviously thinks she's my first. how sweet of her, Maria from Sufdome should really go marry one of those morons at Liquorkart, seems they can afford it as our gifts to them <3

... update, i just got an e-mail with a a different tracking number. 100% it's a scam!!!!!!!!!!

Reliable

I’ve been using this company for about 5yrs and I’ve never had a problem with them.
They have good sales and that’s always what attracts me.
Deliveries usually arrives 3-5 days unlike some other companies I’ve used.
I recently purchased an Adidas rain jacket that was £50 cheaper than the Adidas website so very happy with that.
I’ve never had to return anything so have no experience with their customer services and judging by the reviews I hope I never have to contact them.

Save yourself the stress. Don't order here

Won't be ordering from you every again. Ordered 5 of same item. Received 2 completely different items. Then nearly a week later received 1 of the items I ordered. Items I ordered now out of stock but they won't replace with exact same item in different colour. Terrible company to deal with.

Order not delivered at all! Save yourself the trouble...

Although I ordered in January, paid a hefty delivery for my order since part of it's a gift for Valentines day. The order (10172249) has not been delivered and tracker states it was! Used my work address for delivery since we have dedicated personnel to received deliveries and they confirmed that nothing has arrived at all!
Trying to contact but facing customer service issues.
At this point and after reading other reviews, scared to death that I won't received it or a refund. Plus concerns on the authenticity.
Worst part, I checked the website and trustpilot rate was 4.4, pretty great right? But no. They are advertising the trustpilot rate for surfdome.com and not surfdome.ie which is 2.0.
It's a scam!

i ordered a UK 6 and there was not size…

i ordered a UK 6 and there was not size chart on the shopping link. Then a US 4 arrives and there is no wiggle room for me to send this back and get the size that i need do to this misunderstanding.

a waste of 200€.

very disappointing.

I can never use this site again and i can never recommend it.

Absolutely appalled

Absolutely appalled at the customer service reported damaged parcel two weeks before Christmas and one tee shirt missing and sent photo evidence. What have they done ? NOTHING just keep telling me parcel has arrived !!!! I know it was open down one edge I have sent and filled in forms ! answered emails !! sent photographs !! Sent copies of all of the emails and told them how brasses off with them I actually am but nothing. Don’t buy from them !!! I would have given up but the fact that the customer services people are so incompetent has made me so angry I am not going to!!!!
