Google don't see us as human

Title: Google Support Left Me Feeling Less Than Human - Terrible Experience

I’m absolutely appalled by my experience with Google Support. I sent my phone in for repair, and when I received it back, it came with even more damage than before. I thought dealing with their support team would help sort things out, but instead, it’s been a nightmare.

Trying to get any issue resolved feels like an endless loop of frustration. They refuse to acknowledge the extent of the problem, and when I attempted to make an official complaint, I was shut down. It's as though they don't care about their customers at all. The way they’ve belittled and dismissed me has left me feeling less than human.

It's beyond a joke how poorly they treat people, and I’m extremely disappointed. If I could rate them zero stars, I would. I expected better from a company like Google, but instead, I’m left with a phone that is bent and damaged back and no resolution in sight.

Avoid their support at all costs.

Google should be ashamed.

Google business support is non existent. They removed a one star review from my business profile that had been written by a competitor as asked and confirmed it violated google policy. A year later they reinstated it and when I questioned it they said they couldn’t remove it as it didn’t violate google policy!! Couldn’t make it up. They don’t read emails, sent generic replies when they feel like responding or don’t bother answering at all. Considering the size of the company they should be ashamed of their terrible business support.

Awful customer service and repairs

I'm currently in the process of trying to get my Google Nest and Pixel 8 repaired under warranty and have had an absolutely terrible experience! I sent my Nest back to Poland (from the UK) for repair and the courier tracking says it was delivered over a week ago yet the Google repair platform says it is still waiting to be received. Having had this experience I decided to change my repair for the Pixel 8, which had been booked to send back to Poland too, to taking it to a "local repair centre" only to find out the closest one to me isn't even in the same county and over 30 miles away - I'm in the south of the UK, not the Outer Hebrides!!! Every time I have tried to contact Google in relation to both of these matters It's compete chaos when I do: there is no option to contact them in relation to a specific RMA from the page that holds your repair information in your account page, so I end up spending hours on the phone and live chat being passed from agent to agent, going through their verification steps - which always takes several attempts - and having to give my details and an explanation every time I speak to a new person until they find the "right department" only to be told they will send me an email in the next 24-48hrs as they couldn't deal with my simple request at the time. I thought Google was supposed to be the pinnacle of technology and yet here we are stepping back to the the 1990's. I'm so terribly disappointed with this service - Google doesn't even have a complaints procedure, there's no facility to contact anyone or escalate, they just point you in the direction of their feedback function on your phone, which is intended to send software error issues through! Never, ever, will I buy another Google device and I will be sure to tell every person I know to do the same.

My brother past away need access to his account tried months ago still no solution. This has become a yoyo mail seems that Google is hiring id10ts. If I would treat customers like that I would get fired. So I guess that management doest care so lower levels follow top level.
So google thanks for nothing! Sort your staff out maybe give them less toys to play with

New front door and porch

I recently had a new front door fitted and porch by Sevenday based at Aintree.01515 249862. The owner of the company fitted the new door and porch with a young lad. My experience from the moment they arrived until they left amazing. The workmanship nothing but professional. I am very happy finally to get a job excellent done properly. My thanks to the owner and David his partner. I would highly recommend this company.

Useless Google reformers

I have several matter of fact I have numerous off screen shots o typo messag s from Different Google supporters who has contacted me sending the same Typo Message I can't get these people to fix anything ever they are really unknowledgeable of how to resolve their own issues or customer. It's ridiculous it's always I'm sorry but still to no avail no results I'm freaking fed up like they need to retrain every 3 months because each representative I've emailed has yet to resolve nothing I want Microsoft Bad because their killing me softly

Terrible customer service

Terrible customer service. Don't read or can't read your messages. Issues with adding card to Google Wallet and twice sent me information about adding card to Apple Pay even after I told them I have an Android. Absolutely useless and now been waiting 2 days for someone to ring me back!!!!

My god,, Three EE Mini Hub - Do Not Order

My god,,, what a company, I ordered a Three EE Mobile hub as was moving home, I went through a 3 hour process with the call centre in India, I told them I wanted the hub for 1 month as my broadband would take time to be installed, no problem I was told, £29 for the month and cancel contract after order was processed and there would be no issue, today I got a bill of £245.40 , avoid this company at all costs..

Do not buy Google phones

Do not buy Google phones. The ordeal that you may face is that if you have bought a phone from their authorized retailer in the UK, most likely the proof of purchase would not bear IMEI number. You will be mentally harrased by Google support as they would tell you that your proof of purchase is not acceptable without IMEI number on the purchase receipt. As a consumer you are ignorant to ask for IMEI number on the receipt from the retailer. Irony is that warranty booklet never mentions such conditions in the document. However, that's your first argument with Google and Google knows and then they start the game and eventually they cause so much mental distress to you that you decide to give up. That's their game plan. My ordeal is going on for more than a month now.
I have not given up. I am taking them to court.

Google Deactivated My Paid Storage Plan After Free Trial—No Refund or Resolution!

I am beyond frustrated with Google and their terrible customer service! On April 30, 2024, I paid $29.99 for a full year of 200GB Google One storage, which was supposed to be active until April 30, 2025. However, after signing up for a FREE TRIAL of their AI Premium plan, I was shocked to discover that my fully paid storage plan was deactivated without my consent or any clear notification.

After the trial ended, I started receiving messages that my storage was full and that emails would start bouncing unless I paid for ANOTHER plan. Why should I have to pay again when I already paid upfront for a year of storage?

It gets worse—when I contacted Google support through chat, the experience was absolutely awful. The agent didn’t even bother helping me. They simply passed me around, refused to transfer me to a manager, and ended the chat abruptly without solving my problem. I then sent multiple emails to their support team, and guess what? No response.

I have proof of payment and a case ID (9-5817000036731) to back up my claim, but Google still refuses to resolve this issue. This is nothing short of a bait-and-switch tactic—they lure you in with "free trials," and suddenly, the service you paid for vanishes, and they offer no resolution. If I don’t get my original plan reinstated or my money refunded, I will have to escalate this issue legally.

If you’re considering any of Google’s subscription services, BEWARE. Their customer service is non-existent, and you might end up paying for something you won’t even get. I expected better from a company like Google, but this experience has been nothing short of a scam.

Awful Customer Service

Their customer service for help is ridiculous. I have so many charges in the Play Store for "virtual items" I had never ordered. Yet they have no one to help reverse the charges. GOOGLE! Come on.
