Mixed experience: out of 5 tutors contacted for face-to-face ESL lessons, 2 came back as “not available” and 2 who were available did not do face-to-face as listed. We tried 1 of those for virtual, based on her responsiveness: she did not show up but sent someone else we had not chosen - without any forewarning despite constant communication before then - we declined the alternate based on total mismatch. The 5th and final tutor proved outstanding, however, and salvaged the experience. Posted prices were outdated. Very frustrating and I will not use this platform again.

Don’t recommend it - the fact that you need to pay $49 per month just to get the chance to connect to tutors is nonsense.

My experience has been really nice and as per payment methods I want the team to bring variance in that.

I have been using Superprof as a Math professor for 5 years. I have worked with great students. The platform is very easy to work with. It has been improving since 2021. The scheduling process and the communication with the students are better now. I'll keep using it for a long time!

Superprof makes it easy to browse tutors, compare profiles, and message them directly. I liked the variety of subjects and price ranges. The interface is simple and does the job. Just be aware of the membership fee before contacting tutors. Overall, a solid platform if you know what you’re looking for.

The online process was very good, no issues. My tutor Sam Green is an awesome instructor, very patient, and she is teaching me from the ground up. I look forward to my lessons each week on my path to read and speak German.
