Scam alert

Auschwitz+salt mine tour was "cancelled" under two days before, and somehow they could offer an option for double the price on same date. Clearly a money pumping scam. Most likely organized overbooking and cancelling cheapest tickets to upgrade them to more expensive ones. Don't book this.

Don't book this company.
They advertise 6am this is a lie it's always 3.30am or 4am every single person we spoke to had this message sent the night before sorry scheduled time change .
You then wait for 1 hour outside the gates of Auschwitz in a line because they don't open until 7am then you wait again for another 1.5 hours to buy your own ticket which the guide tgat was on the bus gives you back youre own money to pay for your own tickets.Then you wait again until 1.5 hours to finally start the tour with a tour guide at 9.30am that is provided by the Aushwitz location, not the guide that was on the bus with you.
This is a company that lies to everyone and uses a mirage of excuses .
Don't book Supercracow through Get Your Guide or otherwise also know as a couple of other companies Headout.
Beware you may get cancelled at the last minute and not see Auschwitz at all.This company really does not care as there are thousands of people wanting to go every day.

Worst experience ever

DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY!!!! It is a COMPLETE scam.
We got to our pick up point 15 minutes before our pick up time at 6. We waited over an hour and an half, and they never showed up!!!!
No one from the contacted us to tell change the time, nothing!
Totally ridiculous. Eventually we just left.

DO NOT USE EVER. We booked a trip for 4 to Auschwitz from Krakow. We booked 2 months in advance for a 11am tour time and noted the tour time was not guaranteed. We booked because of the advertised ‘skip the line tickets’. This is a complete lie as tickets not booked in advance. Instead what happened is that the day before the trip (after 3pm), we were told the pick up time was 4.40am. We were told this was due to unforeseen circumstances, again another lie. We got picked up on time and arrived at Auschwitz at 6am. We then queued till 7.30 am when ticket office opened. Queue moved very slowly because we were in the main ticket queue and watched hundreds of people arrive after us and enter before us because they had advance booked tickets. We finally got to the ticket office at 8.30am where unbelievably the supercracow tour guide handed us back our own ticket money which we had already paid so that we could buy our own tickets. Absolute mad scenes as this guy jumped around 4 different ticket booths trying to hand out cash for an entire bus full of people. And then to cap it all, having queued already for 2.5 hours we were then told the next available slot for a Auschwitz English speaking tour with enough room to take all the bus was at 11.30 am, another 3 hours of waiting. Many people went to the canteen and several went for a sleep to kill time. This tour is a shambles. DO NOT USE EVER.

Good guide

Despite the fact i was afraid of the tour because of bad reviews,everything went good.People need to understand that in Auschwitz Museum is many factors wich affect the tour but this company isn’t guilty.Like queue’s long times for waiting, isn’t fault of them that this Museum is to crowded every day.Guide was profesional, took care of us and he was really implicated.Honestly was more than i expected.
P.S: They are baiting you with 10-12PM pick up time,but they will always start at 04:00 AM pick ups times because waiting que is to long to arrive at 12;00 and you risk that there will be not ticket left.So be ready for morning pick up

Booked through Get your Tour

Booked through Get your Tour. They cancelled a tour to Auschwitz an evening before the tour date. We booked 4 months in advance and scheduled the entire holiday around this visit. Staying in the queue in Auschwitz with another provider now, it's been 3 hours and most likely 3 more to go ... Never book through them.

Don’t book with Super Crackow!!!

I received this message 4 days before the trip. It was too late to rebook with another company. If they had let me know earlier I would have had plenty of time to find another guided tour, but they waited until the last minute. So they are basically telling me that I’m paying over $150/person for transportation only. I am extremely disappointed.

This is SuperCracow — you have booked a trip with us to the Auschwitz-Birkenau Museum.

We sincerely apologize, but unfortunately, we will not be able to include you in any of our guided group tours. However, all other aspects of the trip, such as transportation, remain unchanged.

The only alternative we can currently offer is for you to personally go to the ticket office at the Auschwitz Museum to collect your ticket. Please note that these tickets are personalized and can only be issued upon presentation of a valid ID or passport.

Of course, the cost of the ticket will be fully covered by us. Additionally, you will be under the care of one of our staff members throughout the trip, who will be available to assist you on-site.

Please be aware that this type of visit requires an early morning departure, as many visitors choose the same method. Be prepared for potentially long queues, and note that tickets for guided tours in your preferred language may no longer be available by the time you reach the counter.

Due to the wait times, the total duration of the trip may be longer than originally planned.

Please remember that you always have the option to cancel your reservation free of charge within 24 hours if this solution does not meet your expectations.

company cancels tour at short notice

My partner and I booked a tour to Auschwitz with this company over a month ago. The sole reason for our trip to Poland was to visit the concentration camp. The tour was scheduled for May 29th. The company canceled the tour on May 27th without giving any reason, and the short notice deprived us of any opportunity to book a tour elsewhere. Thank you so much for nothing.

The tour from start to finish was…

The tour from start to finish was excellent. Pick-up was early. Coach was very clean and comfortable. Mario our English speaking guide was fantastic his English was great as he told us the horror of Auschwitz and Birkenau . The trip was definitely something everyone needs to do in their lifetime.

Did not show up, blamed others for their error

Booked this operator through GetYourGuide for a tour to Auschwitz and the Salt Mines for 8am on 4th May. Got a message the day before updating the time to 6:55am - no problem, got up a little earlier. Was outside on time, and 15 minutes after they hadn't shown up, I called them to query. They said they could see my booking, but claimed [i.e. lied] that GetYourGuide had cancelled the booking the day before. This was a lie, because the booking [and associated voucher] were still live in my GetYourGuide app. I also called GetYourGuide to ask them what was going on - they claimed that the operator, SuperCracow, were lying. Neither side could/would accommodate my group on another tour that day [including my elderly mother who had always wanted to visit Auschwitz]. Absolutely ruined my trip to Krakow, which is otherwise a beautiful city. Sometimes mistakes are made, but trying to lie and blame someone else [even when it's obvious that you're lying] is unacceptable. I would advise nobody else to book with this company.

Don't book with them.

On 03.05.2025, we arrived with a group of 8 people on a 600 km excursion to Auschwitz. Unfortunately, it started badly from the very beginning, as the entrance tickets were returned, even though they had been paid for (citing political reasons). Then they offered double-priced tickets, which only allowed a limited visit, and we were only informed about this on the bus. We could not go to the main camp, although larger groups were allowed to stay inside. The bus stopped as far away from everything as possible, so that we did not have to buy a parking ticket and the time allocated for the programs would pass faster, because we only reached everything on foot. You managed to have a very bad experience

We booked a tour for Auschwitz on 4/30

We booked a tour for Auschwitz on 4/30, and were completely scammed. We were told to be at the meeting place at 5am, and waited for 30 minutes before the minivan arrived. When it did, the driver (who was very apologetic) told us there was not enough room in the minivan (due to an office error apparently), so we had to pay for our own taxi using our own money. We decided not to continue the tour with SuperCracow and informed the driver and the company.

When requesting the refund that was promised, they LIED saying that they did not overbook the minivan, stating that there were 4 people in our group who showed up instead of just 2 people. After explaining very clearly what happened multiple times through email, they still denied us a refund. DO NOT book this tour. We were expecting a ride, tour, and tickets — SuperCracow did not deliver any service they promised. They continuously lied and refused to give a refund when they did not do their job. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!

We booked a Auschwitz museum tour in January and they cancelled the tour only one day before. So it was impossible to find another solution to do the experience. They only proposed a minor tour nonlt inside the museum. I'll never use them for a tour.

They cancelled my tickets 2 days before our trip while my parents were in the airport about to travel to Krakow specifically to visit Auschwitz. So disappointing & stressful. I believe it’s because they wanted to sell the tickets at a higher price (I booked 4 months ago!!!)

The excuse I was given was that no guide was available - I think this is exactly that, an excuse! Such a poor way to treat your customers!

Do not book with supercracow tours

Do not book with supercracow tours. Very bad organisation.
They cancelled our Auschwitz trip twice. One only 12 hours before we were due to be picked up and only 2 hours after they confirmed the pick up time!! They did not offer any other trip in its place and did not seem to care about it.
We went to Krakow for our daughter’s birthday and booked it all working around the trip! Once you book they don’t ring Auschwitz until the day before and if sold out then tough! I contacted a different company and they were not taking bookings because they knew it would be busy that week with a special event!
Save your self the disappointment and book with another company.

Unacceptable experience: tour cancelled at the last minute by SuperCracow Tours

We booked this tour more than three months in advance – a deeply meaningful visit to the Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration camps and the Wieliczka Salt Mine. We planned everything with great care, emotionally prepared for an experience of such historical and human significance.

Less than 48 hours before the tour, we received a message saying it was cancelled, with no real alternative or assistance offered. Neither GetYourGuide nor SuperCracow Tours & Shuttle took responsibility. The communication was impersonal, lacking empathy, and showed no real effort to help us find a solution.

Now we’re in Krakow, unable to reschedule the visit, because everything is fully booked for the next 5-6 days. This kind of management is utterly disrespectful—not just of our time and money, but of the deeper purpose that brought us here.

SuperCracow Tours & Shuttle proved to be completely unreliable.
And GetYourGuide failed to provide the minimum support or protection expected from a trusted platform.

I am deeply disappointed and frustrated. I would not recommend this tour operator to anyone, especially if you’re planning a meaningful and delicate trip like this one. Such an experience deserves better care, respect, and professionalism.

Absolutely shambles no care for the…

Absolutely shambles no care for the customer
DO NOT USE them is my recommendation
Tour to Auschwitz-Birkenau booked 2+ months ago. Leaving time selected from the options 9.30am. After chasing advised with less than 15 hrs notice before departure that this had changed to 4.30am. Now it was too late to cancel. The feeble excuse that it would be busy. Why aren’t tickets obtain advance?
We arrived at 6.15am and queued for 3hrs 45 mins to get our tickets.
We spent 4 hrs at Birkenau and only a rushed 90 mins at Auschwitz. We spent longer during the day queuing rather than seeing- thankfully it was a warm day.
Auschwitz-Birkenau though very interesting and moving.
As I said absolute shambles I felt sorry for the lad looking after us as he was powerless.
The best day was had by the member of our party who overslept and missed the coach, lucky him !!!

The worst experience I've had on a…

The worst experience I've had on a vacation. I purchased a trip to Auschwitz with this company, departing from Krakow at 11 am. Yesterday I received a message that the departure time had changed, and it is now 6:50 am. After an hour and a half of standing in line to pick up the ticket, we were told that entry to Auschwitz would take place at 4:30 pm. After another hour and a half of standing in the cold, we entered at 5 pm. We left at 6:50 am to enter at 5 pm…..terrible organization, from my point of view, and a completely wrong attitude from the company! I do not recommend!

Untrustworthy company

Pick up time changed from 9am to 5.50am. Luxury air conditioned coach was a taxi with no air conditioning! Cramped in front seat with no leg room.
Guides at both salt mines and concentration camps excellent but nothing to do with this dishonest company.
Waited over an hour after Salt Mines for taxi to take us back!!!
Book with an honest, reputable company and avoid this one.

Our tour descriptions clearly state that pick-up times can vary and may start as early as 5:30am, depending on scheduling and availability. The updated time was communicated to you in advance, in line with this policy.

Regarding transportation: while most of our tours use larger vehicles, occasionally a smaller car or taxi may be used to ensure on-time pick-up and flexibility, especially in high-demand periods. We regret if the vehicle used did not meet your comfort expectations and will look into this further.

We’re glad to hear you appreciated the quality of the guides at both sites. While we organize the logistics, the tours themselves are led by local experts—something we’re proud to arrange on behalf of our guests.

As for the delay after the Salt Mines, we apologize for the wait. Occasionally, unforeseen delays may occur due to traffic or coordination between different tour segments, but we understand how frustrating that can be.

We always strive to offer clear communication and quality service, and we regret that this experience did not reflect that for you. Thank you for your feedback—we’ll be using it to improve.

The entire tour went smoothly, and I had a great experience. Everything was well-organized, and the guide was knowledgeable and friendly. I highly recommend it!
