HORRIBLE customer experience! DO NOT order from Sunset Adore! ITS A SCAM!

I am waiting for my refund for 2 months now, they do not react to any of my messages. Customer service is horrible!

After waiting 3 months, one of the dresses I have ordered was delivered. 2 Months later they told me that the other dress is not available anymore and that I will receive a refund . Still waiting for it!!

DO NOT order from this brand!! Horrible customer experience! Dress quality is not nearly worth the money.

Scam and unfair treatment!! Not recommended at all!

If I could give zero stars it would be too much! This company is either hugely incompetent or a fraud hidden by a good looking women on Instagram.
I ordered a skirt and a top in May 2025 and received it 3 months later but with the wrong items. Instead of the skirt I received a cheap looking dress. But the worst thing of all that I receive no answer when I contacted them (via Instagram or WhatsApp), my comments on Instagram get deleted and my money (260€) is gone! So wouldn’t recommend it at all!

THE WORST "CUSTOMER SERVICE" EVER!
This experience has been extremely disappointing and beyond frustrating from the start. I ordered a couple of dresses and skirts, and was shocked by what I received. The quality is poor, the sizing completely inaccurate, and even after more than three months I still haven’t received all of the items.

After the first delivery, I contacted them and was told I could return everything once the full order arrived to avoid multiple shipping fees. Now, returning the items has become impossible. They might respond to one message, but then ignore the next several. Even after messaging directly with the owner, I still cannot get a shipping label or even an address to send the items back.

This whole experience feels like a complete joke. Avoid at all costs.

Don’t purchase anything from this website. I ordered one item four weeks ago. I revived a confirmation email and that’s it. I tried to write on WhatsApp that they refer to on their website to get in contact, only received an automatic message saying they will respond within 24 hours. Two weeks later and no response. I wrote in the chat on their website, only received an automatic message also saying they will get back to me. I wrote on one of their posts on Instagram, they deleted the comment. I wrote to them in messages on instagram, they answered they will look into it, no respons five days later. This website is a joke! Expensive items and do not deliver!

customer service is NON existent. I've tried to return my order because the size is too small and contacted them through WhatsApp, email, and instagram and they don't answer. They keep deleting my comments on instagram. It's been almost 2 months now. Packaging as well is CHEAP.

Customer service is garbage and packaging was SUPER cheap (regular dropshipping style plastic bag, no thank you card, no tag or material info in the skirt, return label, NOTHING), honestly feels like the clothes are not handmade in Europe as they claim.

The Midi skirt I ordered was almost 20 cm longer than they specified on their website, and my plastic bag said "Maxi dress". After I contacted customer service, they immediately removed the Midi skirt length from their size chart. Classy. Their advice was to take it to a tailor or fix it yourself 🫠 When I asked for the tailoring fee to be compensated, I was fully ignored and haven't heard back from them since, even after messaging multiple times. Had to open a Paypal dispute and the whole experience was such a mess and hassle, since they prepare nothing for returns. Shipping took almost 2 months. Definitely not buying anything from them again.

Messaged WhatsApp customer help on 8th August and tried to contact via instagram no response. Please do not order here as I feel I have been scammed! Such a shame looked to purchase ivory dress for hen do and my wedding very upset!

Beautiful skirt & lovely customer service!

I ordered a skirt from Sunset Adore and I absolutely love it — it's even more beautiful in person! It’s slightly big on me, but still very wearable. Next time I’ll go for a size S!

The customer service was super sweet and thoughtful from start to finish. I even received a personalized discount code as a thank you — such a lovely touch.

Total Scam and Horrible Customer Service

Sunset Adore is hands down one of the worst, most dishonest brands I’ve ever dealt with. I placed an order on April 3rd. Immediately after paying, I received a series of automated, fake email updates pretending to show progress on my order. That nonsense dragged on for three weeks, and not a single thing was actually done.

I followed up in May since nothing had shipped. I got a vague response claiming it would be sent "soon." Of course, that was a lie. I reached out again in June - no response. Tried again in July - completely ignored.

At this point, it’s blatantly obvious: Sunset Adore is a scam. They take your money, feed you fake updates, and then ghost you. No order, no communication, no accountability. Their customer service is non-existent, and the brand itself is shady and untrustworthy.

I had to go through the hassle of filing a dispute with my bank and explaining I was scammed just to get my money back. Do not order from this company. It’s a complete waste of your time, money, and energy. Stay far away.

Hi, this is not a legit business, we ordered clothes the 12/5 2025, and we have until now the 21/7 2025, not heard anything about the delivery, or refund, and no one replies on messages written to customer care what’s app nr or instagram or mail.

Kindly don’t market fancy clothes when you’re not in the clothes business, but in the scam business.

Don't buy from this shop!

This is literally the first time ever that I'm writing a review and sadly a negative one! Never in my life did I have such a bad shopping experience as I have now with Sunset Adore.

When I saw the website the first time, I made the mistake not to check with Trustpilot before. I fell in love with the pieces, the concept with the sustainable and ethical approach. How cool that someone with a good taste in fashion made timeless, yet affordable pieces. I ordered 2 dresses, knowing per the website that it'll take up to 5-6 weeks (pre-order) and then 5-7 day standard shipping. All good.

But I placed my order 21.04.25! Until 16.05 I received the announced emails that would update me on my items. From there on - nothing anymore! I stayed patient, assuming some minor hiccups. As mentioned - never had a bad shopping experience , whether ordering within Germany or EU.

However, a month ago I feared I fell into a scamming trap. Concluding from my research and the comments here, this is not the case. I contacted SA via the chat and the given phone number - never received an answer. In my desperation I contacted the business owner via Instagram (1week ago) to get some information. Also no answer! Assuming, as a business owner you would like to know when a customer is, honestly, disappointed and frustrated. I even get angry now, because I see her activities on instagram, knowing, that my purchase paid for that and I, as a customer, get no acknowledgement.

Still trying to find a way to get my order or money back. But as this is not a reliable nor customer-friendly experience i can only say: stay away from buying pieces from SA, it is not worth it at all!

Huge recommendation to the business owner: I would first take care of my customer relationship and order experience rather than living a wannabe-instagram influencer lifestyle...

I discovered Sunset Adore via Instagram…

I discovered Sunset Adore via Instagram and TikTok marketing, where the founder herself showcased the collection—an approach that felt authentic and enticing.

My first order went in during Black Friday 2023—and it was a nightmare. Months passed with no delivery. When I finally inquired, I was told my order had been “forgotten,” then items dribbled in sporadically over almost five months. By April 2024, I had received most—but not all—of my pieces.

Believing the worst was behind me, I gave Sunset Adore a second chance and placed another order in summer 2024. To this day, several items are still missing. Customer service? Nonexistent. Emails and Instagram messages go unanswered for months. No updates, no refunds, no apologies—just radio silence.

I tried to be patient and understanding, but this level of disregard is unacceptable. It feels like they simply take your money and hope you disappear.

Bottom line: I strongly advise you against ordering from Sunset Adore.
The company’s communication is abysmal, their customer support is nonexistent, and their business practices are, frankly, unreliable.

I really wanted to leave a positive…

I really wanted to leave a positive review about this brand but I apparently can’t.

I ordered their viral silk skirt as a treat to myself - delivery: about 10 weeks because the pieces would be made to order.
There was a slight inconvenience about my email address - which was certainly my fault - that they handled super well.

But: my product never arrived. After about three months I messaged their founder on Instagram and TikTok. She reacted promptly and promised me to immediately ship out my product (as they had it in stock).
By that time, their customer service was not responding to anything. Neither IG dms nor their support chat on WhatsApp.

It’s now another four weeks later and I did in fact receive a shipping number - but it leads to nowhere. Thank god I payed by PayPal, so I already got my money back.

I’m really sad that I didn’t get my hands on one of their pieces as I really wanted to - and although they were seemingly interested in serving me as a client at first, the only thing I can do now is warn you to at least pay with PayPal when ordering there.

Please do not order from Sunset Adore

Please do not order from Sunset Adore. The dress came in and the top was a little uneven. I had to contact thje brand via WhatsApp in order to return. I was ent to a returns portal and submiteed my return. I never got a confirmation or return label. No it's been 2 weeks so I cannot return the dress. I wasted $200 for a dress that sucks.

They take your money and do not even ship your order.
I ordered in the beginning of may and since then I did not received my items. The support only works via WhatsApp and they do not reply. Now and then you get a message like "hey there 😊, nice to meet you sweet customer. Your order will be shipped soon."
Always vague. No facts.
Do not order! You will pay and get nothing for it.

Awful experience

I've never written a bad review before, but as all other customers - this experience left me too disappointed to stay quiet. It was my first time shopping Instagram brands and it was an awful one.

On 13th of March I've ordered a made-to-order skirt, and it was noted on homepage that shipping should take around 3-4 weeks (perfect, I'll be easily ready for summer).

But what followed was over three months of waiting, automated emails, and constant promises that the item would ship “soon.” I tried contacting via email, that didn't work, as the email address has been deactivated. Then via Whatsapp, also no answer. I took advise from a reddit subforum, and contacted the owner and influencer Mariken on Instagram, who then added an XXS skirt to my order and promised it will be sent out soon. Also someone finally answered in Whatsapp.

After months of fake promises and even complaint about fraud to Shopify, the skirt finally arrived in June and the same as for all the other customers, she included a gift I haven't asked for - a top in size XXS. It barely fitted my 8-year old daughter.

And about the skirt - I had to take it to my local tailor to make it even, as the front was 20cm (!!!!) longer than the back of it. And the quality - threads come out of all the seams. It's definitely made in China.

Would advise everyone to stay far away from this shop, to save your nerves and your money.

Such a disappointing experience with Sunset Adore

I don’t usually write bad reviews, especially not for small brands I genuinely want to support — but this experience left me too disappointed to stay quiet. 😔

I ordered a made-to-order skirt and was initially excited about the brand’s values. But what followed was over three months of waiting, vague and repetitive email replies, and constant promises that the item would ship “soon.” At one point, I genuinely thought I had been scammed. 😳 I understand handmade takes time, but the lack of honest communication made the whole process stressful and exhausting.

When the skirt finally arrived, they included a “thank you” gift for my patience — a mini dress, chosen entirely by them. But instead of asking for my size, they simply sent it in XXS. A gift I can’t wear. How is that a thank you? I couldn’t believe it — it felt careless and, honestly, quite disrespectful.

So I wrote to them one more time and politely asked if I could exchange it for a size that actually fits — and they never responded again.

I’d be more than happy to support a slow fashion brand, but that support has to go both ways. Sadly, this experience made me feel like an afterthought, not a valued customer.

Save your money

Order took a lot longer than expected to come (it was supposed to take 2 weeks, ended up being a few months), when I complained I got offered a free skirt as an apology, I accepted it and answered their questions about sizing. Its almost been a year, nothing has come.
