Really good company.
The website is comprehensive that answered so many questions. Great team that specified my install, and a great support team that walked me through my install. Always responded same-day to emails.
Install was as predicted, contractors were professional and turned up on time - respectful and tidy.
Every step was great.
It's hard to find any niggles, so I can only give 5 stars...!

Sunsave were fantastic from the first conversation to the installation and beyond. Everything has been explained so well and every time they have said things would be done they were.

Working with Jack Purdie was a pleasure, I cannot the company and he reached out to me to discuss our requirements.

There was no hard sell, he was pleasant and professional, one of the touches which I feel made it a great experience was, he arranged a video call to discuss, rather than just a phone call.

He followed up when he said he would and did what he said he would do.

Great service from my first enquiry, to final fitting of the system.
Fitters turned up on a day with a yellow weather warning for wind, but carried on with the Installation.
All done in 2 days as promised.
It's been 2 weeks since Installation and my Electric use from the Grid has reduced by 98%, but all been off peak.

From beginning to end and in fact beyond the expected end continue to get great service. Have just had contact configure my batteries for overnight low cost charging which means more daytime production goes to export at a higher rate. Explanation of solar system and its benefits, planning and installation (in one day!) was great. Have had no issues since installation and we are supplying 100% of our electricity needs. Our installation cost is £106 per month minus savings on provider electric and our export earnings. No upfront cost!. Is a great way to go solar.

Just off a Teams call with the most argumentative and abrupt person I’ve ever encountered.

I challenged the numbers on the quote and he didn’t like it at all! He couldn’t get off the call quick enough towards the end when I still had questions

I was reluctant to provide a copy of my bill as I don’t think it’s appropriate, but produced factual usage on the call even breaking down month by month he didn’t want to give the time and huffed and puffed.

Nice one Sunsave I’ll also huff and puff away from your company. More training needed to the guy who called me, I just wanted to know facts and true information.

I recently had solar panels installed by Sunsave. They are professional and very easy to work with. They have excellent customer service. Enjoyed working with them.

I first received an email from British Gas (my energy supplier) advising me of this new way of obtaining Solar panels, no upfront costs for a monthly repayment fee (which included insurance cover of all the equipment and on-going monitoring to get the best out of the system) We had been considering getting panels for some time but the upfront payments of £10k were not affordable. Had an online video chat with Jack who provided all the facts and figures, answered all questions, and then left me to have a think. No sales pressure, a really relaxed chat about what they offer. After agreeing to go ahead, a more detailed plan was presented, with clear explanation of costs involved - and hopefully the savings! Installation date confirmed. Scaffolding went up a couple of days before with no issues. Install day, two chaps arrived and spent about 5 hours installing the system, very impressed with their work ethic. All parts of the system explained, including getting me started on the app to monitor it. The communication with Sunsave has been excellent, Jack doing the initial consultation through Adda and Mo before and after install. "No such thing as a stupid question" as Mo replied to another one of my emailed (stupid) questions! With their assistance, I have moved on to a new import tariff and have applied for the export tariff to maybe earn a few pennies along the way.

I made an enquiry early 2025 and was invited to a video chat to discuss a possible system. After the initial consultation I was given plenty of information to think about and a rough estimate of cost. I was hesitant and asked for a few months to think about it. Sunsave left me completely alone for that period of time and got back in contact when I was ready, much appreciated!
I decided to look into it more and after being financially approved they gave me more in-depth information on what they thought would work best for me based on numerous parameters, after all, the whole point of this is to save money in the long run.
My system is small, so I'm under no illusion that my export income won't be setting records. For me it was having something that will create a safety net if prices were to get out of control, something I could comfortably afford now and in years to come and something reliable.
Lets not beat around the bush, a 20 year 'subscription' is a big investment and yes I could have got the system cheaper if I paid outright or over a shorter time span. But they don't come with the guarantees, support and replacements sunsave offer. Sunsave have helped me acquire solar, without a huge outlay and crossing my fingers that it will work.
Once I had committed and signed a few doted lines I haven't had to lift a finger, it has been totally stress free. They arranged everything, the scaffolders and install were worked around me schedule. Contact has been very regular via email and whatsapp. It is very reassuring to know they are there even after everything has been completed and are keen to get me on the best time of use and export tariffs now.
Time will tell if the system works well, I'll have a better idea this time next year having just missed a scorching summer without solar.
Personally this felt like a real gamble but I have a feeling it will pay off.

We had a very positive impression of Sunsave - Milo was very knowledgable and helpful. After their research, we were told that, unfortunately, due to position and lack of suitable roof area, they concluded that solar panels would not be a viable option on our house. However, we were told that if we ever decided to develop the detached garage, that roof would potentially be ideal. I would happily recommend Sunsave to friends and family.

From start to install the process with sunsave has been great. Everyone is really friendly and helpful.

From first initial contact to install was totally stress free
First contact was by email, then a teams meeting with a very informative man called Obded, we chatted about general system and our requirements, a presentation covering monthly costs, predicted expenses over time, choosing best tariff etc etc.covered everything, any questions were answered clearly.
No hard sell
After agreeing to go ahead, all documents came by email, very simple process to fill in forms and sign.
We were then passed onto Antonio to arrange a self survey of property, basically taking photos of our property to determine where equipment would go. Once system was all agreed, install date was agreed, scaffolding was erected three days before install. Two man team arrived early and started install immediately, very friendly, very little mess, both gave advice about system and how to use the apps to control system.
Once install was finished Antonio was back in touch to ensure we were happy with our system.
This way of going to solar just worked for us, peace of mind that equipment will be monitored and any faults rectified at no additional cost for the whole term of the agreement was a massive plus for us.

Made the installation of solar panels incredibly easy. Very pleased with Sunsave and would definitely recommend them to those wanting to get green energy into their homes.

From my initial enquiry for a quote back in June, the contact with all staff at sunsave has been very professional. Have been impressed with every touch point of my experience,
the pesentation by Edd, explanation of the costs, savings over 20 years, the details of the financials, then handover to Mo, who answered my numerous questions, the scaffolding company communication and promptness, the two installation guys where superb, and the 11 panels, battery, invertor and electrics were installed in 5 hours. The aftercare so far has exceeded my expectations. We've already seen a saving with our electric kwh costs. In process of completing switch to British Gas to benefit from EV tariff and have signed up (as recommended by sunsave) to hive solar saver tariff to get 25% discount on peak tariff for 12 months.
As others have commented initially was very sceptical that there was no upfront costs, as no other supply offers this, but so far so good and looking forward to the future long term savings and generating power from the sun.

Sunsave where extremely polite and patient not pushy and regardless of all my questions where very happy to help and explain all I needed to know. Regular checks and catchup and very smooth with the jnstall etc.

This feels like the right move. Sunsave have been very quick to respond to issues or questions. Very happy so far. Some initial problems with scaffolding but it was dealt with rapidly by Mo. Saving some money and generating much of my own energy. Thank you SunSave.

Amazing company and great staff. Always answer calls and emails and communication has been spot on. All installed and up and running. So simple.

Everything was simple and easy for us. Very happy with the kit and instal.

So far, so good. Sunsave were great to talk too. The contractors used by Sunsave to fit the battery & panels were neat and tidy, slight issue on day 2 with panel fitter being ill but Sunsave kept us informed at all times. Scaffolders removed as per arrangement. Sophie (our rep) then assisted with tariff changing and setting up our system to make a start on the savings. Never having a “Smart meter”, I was amazed with the difference without/with panels the cost. Here’s to the next stage, will do an update later
