Avoid products are not fit for purpose

Purchased 4 months ago. And only used for a week and weekend. Material is cheap fabric and rips like paper. They wont do anything about it. Just states its my fault, its mouldy.... no its not photos prove that. Amd said I packed it away damp. I definitely didn't. Its jn clean condition which proves it was looked after. But there customer service is appealing. Spend your money else where. Send photos and videos to be ignored. £369.95 wasted

Air awning DONT buy anything from suncamp

We bought a new air awning had it up for 2 days in wales not windy or raining just a sunny day had nothing but trouble with it air beam popped then sat having a drink and heard a bang which was the stitching had burst open on the beams and outer cover. We sent it back to the company we bought it from and they sent it off to suncamp.
They had it just over 4months and said it was down to wear and tear saying we had it up for long periods 🤷🏼‍♂️.
Don’t buy from suncamp a terrible company who just wants your money customer service is very poor. I have open a case with trading standards and in the process of opening a case with watchdog.
WARNING AGAIN DONT BUY A SUNCAMP

SunnCamp Air Volution Swift air 325 SC

SunnCamp Air Volution Swift air 325 SC, please do not waste your money on this awning, the main suppoirting pole burst on our first outing as soon as the wind picked up. Sunncamp are taking no accountability at all, we spent over £300 on this awning yet they will not even cover the cost of replacing one tube. Very dissapointing service and I will not purchasing any other products from them.

SunnCamp Swift Van 325 poled awning - Award Winning

I bought the SunnCamp Swift Van 325 poled awning because it won a Camping & Caravanning Club Award.

It took longer to put up than stated, but they always do on first pitch! (Photos in the instructions would have been helpful.) Was really easy to take down and I'm expecting the second pitch to be much quicker.

The awning has a fixed groundsheet, which means the base of the structure is stable without needing any internal pegs. (Friend has an awning without this and has 14 internal pegs!)

Love how many windows the awning has - which all have toggled curtains if you want privacy. I had the top toggles undone so that half the window was uncovered.

Really pleased both side doors have mesh panels on them to allow for air flow on hotter days. Love how the main door can be used as a sun canopy too.

Have ordered the storm straps so we can use it in coastal areas that might get a bit windy. Like how the awning already has the buckle fastenings on to clip the storm straps into.

I had a couple of questions that I emailed SunnCamp about. They were prompt with their replies and both professional and friendly in tone.

Don't buy an sunncamp air awning

The worst company to deal with. Had problems with air awning, stitching had came loose due to popped bladder. Went through warrenty with company purchased from ( they where the most helpful part off this problem ). After sunncamp recieved said it mucky,( usually when u go camping it's rains ). It had wear and tear on bottom cover ( was windy one day and collapsed down ). And bladder had popped through and ripped all the stitching. Was down as a manufacture fault. Send off, then refused to fix saidnit was a customer and weather problem.
The bloke, rob was the most unprofessional I have ever dealt with, his rudeness and lack off help was quite shocking, wasn't what I would expect for a company that is well known.

The reason was, wind blows down can get damaged, rain it get wets and muddy. Sunny can pop bladder from heat. And hard standing as tears. No sure what good their awnings are unless on a rubber mat and inside a building.
Oh well guess £499 wasted. Oh did i mention they discontinued the air awning I sent for repair. Wonder if that was anything to do with not fixing the stitching.
