Sunflower Relocation made my entire moving process effortless. Everything was handled with care, and their communication was outstanding.
This company is a joke. I wish I would have read all the reviews. I was given a quote, even did an online video call and went over all the items that were to be moved. The price they gave me was to also include some "wiggle room". I actually threw out numerous items, did not add more and when moving day came was charged double what was quoted.
The excuse I was told was the computer program sometimes does not accurately calculate the cubic feet. So there I was on moving day short a few thousand dollars to complete my move. I had to be out of the house that day so I had no alternative.
They told me they could store the items until I could pay it, and as soon as we pay, it would be delivered.
We did pay but what a mess. The drivers did not relocate any items back into our house just dumped them into the garage stating they had a flight to catch and another job, I mean ripoff to accomplish.
So now I have all my stuff, I have to put it all together and move it into the house.
This company is a piece of garbage, do not use them. Could never get back in touch with the guy who took my estimate.
Seriously do not use them!!
I wish there were an option for negative stars. They moved us from Ohio to Texas. I use move loosely. They took 57 items, broke 23 items, and lost 1. I rented a U-Haul and car hauler to take the remainder of our household to Texas.
They showed up three hours late with fewer people than were promised, took 10 hours to "load" their truck, broke items before they made it out the door, and generally refused to speak with me. They insisted on speaking with my husband (who wasn't there with us!).
Delivery was also a joke—one person at 8 pm on a Sunday. My husband called three friends to come help unload. The driver demanded more money in cash to unload and refused to provide a receipt. He didn't know which items were ours. And every time we noticed something broken, he shrugged his shoulders.
I have fought with Anthem, their version of insurance, for seven months. We finally settled. I sent off the signed agreement. Here we are two months later with nothing. As of 03/25/2025, Sunflower's website doesn't exist, and emails and phone calls go unanswered.
DON'T USE THEM!
I am seeking legal damages for breach of contract. They showed up 2 days late to pickup. I was initially quoted a range of $5000-$8000 to move my goods. I sent in revised box numbers and sizes as well as photos. Received no reply or revised price. They were late picking up due to listing my delivery date as my pickup . date. The truck they brought was too small , the driver created the inventory list at pickup time. So with no options they extorted me and quoted at pickup $27000. Working w this company was hell. They didn’t communicate or respond to messages.
They won’t respond to my attorneys certified letter.
I can confidently say this is one of the worst companies I have ever worked with. I decided to use this company to move across the country and it was the biggest mistake I could’ve ever made. When I first spoke with them, they had me pick a date for pick up and a date for drop off and gave me my quote. They said they would give a higher quote so that way it gave wiggle room when they actually came for pick up. All was great until then. When the movers came, they ended charging me double (and didn’t refund it) and rather than dropping off on time or even close to being on time, they delivered my items 2 months late because they said, and I quote “they wanted to add in deliveries to make more money on the way to mine.” The broker Michael seemed helpful at first until he proceeded to ghost me once I started asking where my moving truck was. The dispatcher Leo, who was supposed to be keeping track of my truck blocked my phone number so that I couldn’t communicate with him. At this point, I was charged twice, told my things were lost, and that they had no clue when/if I would ever receive my items. This company was not communicative and was beyond unprofessional. When I actually received my things, months later, they dropped off things that weren’t even mine. I then had to send it back myself and some of the things that were mine came damaged, and I received to refund for any of this. Safe to say, if you want a company that is honest and communicates with you, this is simply not the place to use.
This is possibly the worst "moving" company possible. They held me hostage with my things increasing the price, despite a contract. They broke and stole my items. DO NOT move with these grifters who front to be a professional company. I am a single mom, and these people are as misogynistic as they come. Watch out for Salesman Lying Michael, Driver Male Chauvinist Dullie, and most of all Management Swindler Ahmed! I want to know who is Abdulwahab Marei? That's who the Zelle account is under. These people need to be reported. The number given to file a claim for lost/damaged items does not work! Just give me some time, and I will find a way to report this further until they rectify this account! And read onto more reviews, because I'm not alone.
When I made the reservations it was discussed and I was reassured that my
Shipment would arrive at the time I would be in Arizona. I was scheduled to be in Arizona on 01/18/2025 until 1/26/2025 and I had a pickup date in Virginia between 01/11 and 1/12. I was reassured when I made the reservations that the shipment will be delivered in Arizona during the week I’m there. Driver called me on 1/14 after my Scheduled pickup date was not for filled to say he will arrive on 1/15 at 3pm. I sat at the pickup location at 3pm after the driver told me several times he was 10 minutes away. Driver had me go to his location and his truck was broke down on the side of the rode at 6pm and he told me he might can still pick up my shipment that night if his truck is fixed and it will take him 3 or more weeks to deliver my
Items when I was told that my
Items would be delivered during the time I was in Arizona for a week. I don’t feel
Comfortable with someone picking my items up and driving them across the country on a vehicle that keeps breaking down. I already spent money on plane tickets to meet my Shipment in AZ.
I still have not got a call back or response from this company. They continue to avoid me and have not issued me a refund.

SCAMMERS! Nothing but problems.
They change prices on you, almost doubling what was quoted and charges more at drop off. They won’t open the truck until payment is made
Took 30 days for my stuff to be delivered, all dishes are broken. Dining room table is cracked and a chair is broken.
They call from different numbers and it seems like everyone is the “manager” but no one works for the actual company.

Poor Customer Service, this company has been nothing but fake. If I could give 0 stars I would. I went with this moving company because talking to Michael and Noah at the beginning was smooth and had good communication at the start.
I had a move scheduled and received a quote of $1747.68 and paid a deposit of $647. The movers showed up 2 days earlier, only gave 2 hours’ notice. Showing up days early caused me to not have everything packed correctly and I went over 150 cubic feet. I said I was fine paying for the difference. I paid the driver at pick up $1419.98. My things were picked up on 12/12/2024.
As of 01/09/2025 I still do not have my things and now am being told my final cost is more. One person stated my final cost is $3276 – saying because I went over. I don’t understand how adding 150 cubic feet doubles the price. I was told by a different person my total is $2925.00, I was told by a third person my total is $2192.68 (RESPONSE FROM THE COMPANY CONFIRMS THIS). The company sent a new contract today stating the deposit I paid does not go towards the “final cost”.
A driver called on 1/8/25 stating I owe $1400. After multiple calls I am now being told I owe $733 because they do not count the deposit towards final payment.
This company is such a SCAM and very unprofessional. They just give different numbers and different names for any issues, or they just hang up. When I first wrote this review someone reached out to me and asked me to remove it as it hurts business, they clearly do not want people knowing how horrible this company is.
Based off the response to my review and speaking with Mo, my total is $2192. It was not stated anywhere this is the total AFTER a deposit is made.

Please take your time to read this review I’m begging you. Every 1 star review you read on this company is TRUE and REAL. All the other “good” reviews are FAKE. If you check a different website it says that they’re “fake”. Please don’t make the same mistake I did. I’m begging you. A Disastrous Moving Experience.
My recent move with MICHAEL the Manager/ Sunflower was chaotic and stressful. Every step of the process was fraught with issues. We were told by one of the movers that Michael isn’t even his real name it’s his “American name” whatever that’s supposed to mean. CASH ONLY ON PICK UP AND DELIVERY NO CREDIT CARD.
The initial estimate was significantly lower than the final cost. Quoted $2,200 and TOTALED OVER $4,000 for a Studio apartment. Hidden fees and constant price increases left me feeling deceived and frustrated. Communication with the company was a constant struggle, with vague and inconsistent updates regarding the status of my belongings.
The handling of my belongings was careless and disrespectful. Items were damaged during the move, including a broken shelf and a missing piece of out couch, missing table, missing ladder. The delays in delivery were significant it took 10 days, causing immense stress and inconvenience. Thank goodness we placed an AirTag in our luggage and tracked it the entire time. It was in Storage in Hollywood for 4 days then placed on a truck. NO PAID RECEIPTS, NO PAPERWORK PROVIDED. THEY WAIT TILL AFTER YOUR ITEMS ARE LOADED ON THE TRUCK TO PROVIDE YOUR NEW ESTIMATE. I asked them to take my items off immediately and they would not take them off unless I paid a $1,500 fee.
I cannot emphasize enough how disappointed I was with Michael’s Moving's services. Their lack of professionalism, poor communication, and disregard for customer satisfaction. AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS. If you value your belongings and peace of mind, I urge you to CHOOSE a different moving company.
EDIT 12/05/24: In regard to your reply - it doesn’t mean anything to me. You guys are BROKERS and SCAMMERS. Anyone reading this - DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY
EDIT 12/14/2024: Insurance coverage is a scam. Please search Anthem Claim Management (the website they use to file a claim) and you’ll see ALL their terrible reviews. And BTW anthem claim management states they aren’t the ones that will pay your claim, the moving company will. I will update once confirmed if they deny (which every other review says they’ve been rejected)
EDIT 03/27/2025 : finally heard back from Anthem and all the decided to provide was $90. We at least lost $3,000 in damages and were told we have $10,000 in coverage. There is no longer a website for their business.

I would give them all zero's if possible. They claim to be a moving company but are brokers. Please do not use them as it was a costly mistake in life I am sharing with others.
Sunflowers will take your deposit and provide you with an estimate but then another company (broker) shows up and claims that they need more money. They will call Sunflower on a private number, "negotiate" a price that is still higher but not as high as the person staring you in the face. They know that you need to move, have everything packed and act on emotions at the moment. when they do deliver your items from yet another broker, items will be broke and they were. Sunflower will provide you with a link to file a claim but the only paper work that is accepted by insurance is the paperwork from the movers which is the broker. This makes the claim invalid as the brokers are not insured and only Sunflower - who doesn't move the furniture.
I know that Sunflower will have their AI automatic reply comment on this with their standard "ohh.. I am sorry and let me help" but they don't. I don't make enough to spend thousands on a lawyer to shutdown this scam so please don't use them and if I can help one person then I have made some of my losses back.

If I could give zero stars I would!
They were terrible to work with. They never arrived when they said they would. They put all my things in the truck and then gave me different pricing way higher than quoted on my contract AND my stuff still hasn’t arrived and it’s been 9 days. Terrible terrible business

I'm giving this a 3 star review because it will be the only one and I'm hoping more people will see it.
Anyone that is giving this company anything more than 1 star is either braindead or a paid bot. Regardless of any personal experience I had every single thing that you will be told is a LIE! I was never told the truth once, and on the rare occasion I was graced with the privilege of getting to speak with someone over the phone they were rude short and confusing.
I hate the police and even I was forced to have to threaten to get them involved just to speak with someone. Working with this company will disintegrate any faith in capitalism you have.
I love this company like I love a bullet in the brain.
This company will make your hairline worse
Sunflower relocation more like we will brake literally everything we touch relocation.
I think I would only recommend this company if you are Vladimir Putin.
I hate all sunflowers now
If you are considering using this company after reading this far you should probably just not move.
If you work for this company and feel like you have no other means of making money let me know and I'll give you a job.
Oh and I have been a mover and used several moving companies before. And this was maybe the worst experience buying anything.

Sunflower Relocation has false advertising as they are brokers and not a true moving company. Paid Sunflower money to move me from NH to TN only to have another company show up, tell me that the quote was wrong and then having to pay 3K more as I had to be at work in TN on that following Monday. Then another company shows up 9 days later with broken and missing items. I refused to pay or sign paperwork until they were done and they became aggressive and my wife was nervous. Had no choice. No body is reaching back out. Be AWARE - dont use them unless you want to deal with alot of stress .. its worth every penny to stay with a national moving company. What this has cost me is a lesson I want to pass on to hope and save others from this same mistake.
Update: 10/6/2024 - yes, I would like your assistance. Please let me know how to contact you. My claim was also denied by the insurance company as they are no longer a client. So you send me a link to fill out an insurance claim, told me they never get denied and yet it was turned down and I still have broken items. What a scam.
Update: 12/4/2024 - I was told to file a claim by Sunflower for the damage they caused. Sunflower gave me the link to file but it was denied because Sunflower sent a BROKER company to pick up my stuff and another BROKER company to drop off. The insurance company stated that this void's all insurance claims. While they state the are not brokers they are just the "middle man" taking and paying others while scamming for damage they have done. BBB is my next step to see.

Gave me a military discounted rate, they worked with the budget I had also. I booked with Michael at Sunflower August 5th. August 26th I was picked up & delivery happened September 2nd. The movers were very good and kept good communication with me till the end of the delivery. Couldn’t have asked for an easier experience moving and these guys are legit and got the job done!

This is my second review after the worst experience I've ever had dealing with a company. They took my deposit that was made to them by mistake (they didn't tell me they subcontracted with a different company and I should have paid the deposit to them separately) and have not refunded me the money due me ($2947.50). They assured me they would work with Venmo to release the deposit but that didn't happen. They will lie to you to tell you what you want to hear and they have burner phones. That should have been a red flag right there. I believe in karma though and truly hope bad things come to all of the players involved. They're evil.
0 STARS - Where do I begin? (Shorten version)
On Sunday, July 14 at 1:36pm I received a voicemail from Ahmed from +1 (682) 339-1903 and it stated that the truck that was supposed to move me on Saturday, July 20 was in an accident and needed to move me on Wednesday, July 17. I was confused because here I was still working and trying to pack my house up to meet the July 20 move when I originally wanted July 22. I called him back and told him it wasn’t going to be doable with the amount of time given. In addition, working and dealing with hurricane beryl issues. The next day, July 15 I called a few times and no one answered to see if we were still on for Saturday, July 20 move. After calling and calling, I received a text from Moe +1 (310) 993-7889 that my 8-10am moving slot that was originally given to me is now 9-11am. I told Moe that I got friends to come help between 8-10am and they scheduled this time based on their work schedules so Moe ensured me on July 19 that they could most likely get there earlier. Saturday morning, July 20 gets here. 9am no one shows. 10am no one shows. 11am no one shows so I figured because they had my deposit it didn’t really matter to them at this point. I reached out to Moe at 11:14am to see whats going on because I have to turn in keys and return equipment by the time these companies close early on Saturday and are not open on Sunday. I also scheduled my travels this day and was so off on schedule. Moe finally texts me back at 11:17am and said Deryl will arrive in 45 minutes which is now past 12 noon and what we agreed on. 45 minutes passed and still no one has arrived so I call Deryl and he says at 12:06pm he is 45 minutes away. Now thats 90 minutes later according to Moe and Deryl. So I ask him to call when he gets in the area. He called at 1:06pm. He arrived in this beat up truck labeled A&M Moving Services which I was a little hesitant because on Sunflowers website it showed nice trucks labeled sunflower relocation. Anyways, I greeted him and asked if he was doing the job alone because I was promised 2-3 men. He proceeds and says he does this on the weekends as a side job and he called some helpers they are running late. So I showed him around and immediately I get a call from Moe about my mirror on the wall and my 2 tvs that I mentioned several times to Noah, (the one who quoted me and ensured that everything was going to get wrapped and taken care of) several times and to make sure they were going to take care of these things because I have used movers in the past and they have always securely wrapped up and stored these items for me. Moe calls me and tells me they don’t take care of tvs and securing mirror decoration on the wall. So I told him, I chose the company because I was assured it will very taken care of other wise I would have went to another company or packed them with my own help. At 1:50pm I get a call from Michael who says he is the manager at +1 (310) 993-7889 and told me Noah who did my inventory didnt do the cubic measurements correctly on my contract even though I gave him exactly the amount of what I had (I took pictures) in my house and not to mention I moved majority of the stuff down a stair level to help. Mind you, I said 4 wardrobe boxes, I only had 3 at the end of packing. In addition, I said I had 5 large bins and I ended up having 6; 1 extra little one I couldn’t get rid of plus a hoola hoop. So he proceeds that Noah has messed up 3 to 4 times on this and he will get back with me to see what he can do. Well he never called me back. I called the number later several times and no answer. Moe finally called me again, which I must say does not have any customer service what so ever; he was very rude with me the whole time. He said I still have to pay from originally the amount was $2641.75 and my deposit $600, pick up $1466 + $43.98 processing fee which was $1509 and delivery $1466 + $43.98 processing fee of $1509. Totalling $3618 which originally it was $600 deposit and $2041.75 spit into 2 payments. You know how sad I was. I am an educator and its already been hard for us educators and my budget was $3000 and I told them over and over before proceeding with this company. Now I am out of food and gas money to get to my new location with no parents who have recently passed away to help me. Now this is sad right because we have companies who we think can be trusted are not trusted! So, when the boys arrived to help move my things they started arguing, cursing and trying to call the cops on one another in front of my neighbors (I have the video to prove this) so this made me feel like Im a bad person having these unprofessional people at my house arguing and bickering at the place where I resided for years. This lasted 20-30 minutes when they should have been moving my things especially since they came 2 hours past the second window given and 4 hours from the original moving window. It won’t let me add more but they STOLE mythingsa

Poor communication. They refused to tell us the location of our property at any time. Our load was removed from the original truck and placed in storage, and then reloaded a week later. We were not aware that this was going to happen. We expected the truck to drive our belongings to our destination. Right? Load in Frisco, unload in Fargo. Our dining room table was damaged because the exercise machine was placed on top of it. We were given a 3-4 day time line for our move from Texas to North Dakota (1100 miles), but it took 13 days and that was only because on day 11, I threatened to report them to the Texas DMV and the Federal MCSA. I highly recommend throwing some Air Tags in your boxes, so you will know what is going on, if you use this company.

Michael was straight to the point. Got me a reasonable rate & got all of my storage delivered safely within 6 days from Virginia to Pennsylvania. There was one slight issue where my dining table was missing a few screws once dissembled, so at my new residence it could not be reassembled properly. Once I told Michael about this issue he submitted a claim for me & eventually they were able to find the missing screws, got them expedited shipped to me so I received them 2 days later. I've dealt with a moving company a couple years prior and it did not go as planned at all. Michael was very attentive, kept communication with me throughout the whole move & answered any questions that I had. Safe to say whenever I move again in the future I will re-use Sunflower & Michael's services.
