Sunbeam claims a 5 year warranty on…

Sunbeam claims a 5 year warranty on their heating pads.
Now to filled a claim for a heating pad, they want a very long warranty form filed out and 6 various pictures attached.
I did that which took a very long time and lots of effort.
Immediately after sending all on the warranty form page, it came back: warranty claim failed.
How convenient!

Went way downhill

I used to purchase the regular blue/white heating pads and the last blue I purchased, sunbeam promptly replaced without any drama whatsoever. Then next one I bought was the xl one and it stopped working after a couple years. Sunbeam refuses to honor the warranty (5 year warranty but the rep was trying to say 1 or 2, I am not sure if she was trying to pull on over on me or is not knowledgeable about her job) and replace the broken one. They even wanted me to send the broken one back to them in the mail. Who does that? No one that's who, oh wait lame weird prehistoric sunbean does this. First of all I don't care who is paying for it I'm not shipping broken trash anywhere and it's seriously hazardous. I am reporting them for this. They kept mentioning the receipt that they think people need to keep track of after several years besides the fact that all info they need is in their records when I registered my product on their website when I purchased my heating pad. Another failure on sunbean's part. The rep failing to do this is both lazy and unprofessional. Sunbean actively went out of their way to lose two customers who's money keeps them in business rather then go out of their way for their customers which they did in the past. Our household will not be buying sunbean in the future and it's their own fault. Hope they are proud of themselves.
