I had a disappointing experience with…

I had a disappointing experience with Sumo Strength. I purchased an air rower that arrived with rust on and inside the legs, visible scratches, and sharp edges. The product's condition was far from what I expected for a new item. Additionally, the customer service was unhelpful and abrupt, with limited ability to resolve issues or address concerns in a professional manner. I would not recommend this company, or their products based on my experience. Improvements in both product quality control and customer service training are urgently needed.

Silicone all over weights

Weight plates come saturated in silicone. Customer service was terrible, didnt respond to multiple emails. Took 3 weeks to receive my order.

I bought the Ez Curl bar and some…

I bought the Ez Curl bar and some plates. It turned up within a few days.
Only issue I had is with the state of the packages on arrival. Looked liked they had been thrown around. The Ez curl bar was half out of the package and slightly damaged. Maybe some bubble wrap would be a good idea. Luckily it’s tough as nails but still slightly annoying as it’s not cheap to get it delivered.

Missing Order

We ordered products in December.

It's now the back half of March and not only do we not know where the equipment is, but it seems that neither does Sumo Strength.

I've been following up for weeks and the representative, while polite, is not being effective in sorting this out.

Sumo Strength gear is good quality at…

Sumo Strength gear is good quality at really reasonable prices. Customer service is great, very responsive, quick to answer any questions. I could not be happier with my purchases (wall mounted rack, weight plate toaster rack, plates, dip bar, safety arms) all for the price of a years gym membership. Highly recommend.

Terrible delivery experience. Never again.

I ordered a EZ bar for my son as a Christmas present on the 26/11/23 and entered a PO Box as a delivery address which the Sumo website accepted. About a week later I received an email stating that they do not deliver to PO Boxes. I checked the freight companies website and nowhere does it say that they do not deliver to a PO Box. After some correspondence I sent through my street address only to be told by the “customer service” representative that the item went back to the depot and that I would have to pay further delivery fees. I thus asked for a full refund. The consignment note shows the items sitting a the freight company as of 5 December. Today the 13th of December when I contacted the company by phone I am told that the item as of the 12th December is still at the depot and I cannot receive a refund until it is returned to the Sumo warehouse. I informed the “customer service” rep that I am happy to have the item shipped however would not be paying any extra delivery as it was not my issue. She informed me that they could not ship it. I then asked for my refund today so that I can order a bar from another supplier and hopefully it will arrive before Christmas Day.
This was the first time I purchased from Sumo Strength. Will not be purchasing from this company in the future.
Terrible customer service.

Excellent post sales service

Had a small manufactory error with one plate weight. The Sumo team were prompt to respond and send a replacement. EXCELLENT customer service and communication throughout. Love the products as well. 5 STARS
