Delivery not as stated in the email from Subtel confirming the order

The price was good and the items as ordered. We ordered home delivery, which was confirmed in an email from Subtel, and that it would be delivered by UPS. There was a link in the email to track the delivery. The email said to expect delivery in 2-5 work days. After that time had passed, we clicked the link and discovered delivery had already been made, to a delivery point in the town where we live; the exact location wasn't specified. We got no notification that it had been delivered the previous week. If we hadn't checked we wouldn't have known, and we would have continued to wait for a home delivery. Nor in the link did it say where it had been left, so we went to both places in town and found it ourselves. Luckily this was something we had time to do during the work day. Many might not have that option. Subtel is misleading customers if it promises home delivery but that is not what happens. Postscript in response to the company’s reply: I live in Sweden and ordered from subtel.se so I believe I am on the correct site. I would also add that we asked for home delivery and the confirmation email suggested that that would be the case .

It seems however you are on the wrong Trustpilot page. We invite you to visit the page of the carrier, as Subtel does not offer delivery service.

Please note: Subtel does not ''promise'' home deliveries. You indicate the address where you want the delivery to be made and this address is given to the carrier.
If UPS (or any carrier) cannot deliver, for any kind of reason, they will deliver to a parcel shop.

This doesn't have anything to do with the sender itself. We therefore don't understand why that review is here.

Bought a good battery

I needed a laptop battery to my laptop and for my model, they only existed in 3 online stores. The other two seemed to be scam sites and Subtel seemed legit so I put in an order and crossed my fingers. I was pleased to see they quickly sent the battery and it works just as it should. I would rate them 5 stars if they used a different delivery service than Federal Express. In Sweden FE doesn't work well, hard to communicate with and even though we waited home to recieve the package and gave clear instructions, FE needed 3 tries to deliver, very unconvinient delivery service.

I ordered Olympus EM1 markIII battery pack on 26th April 2024 and still waiting for the delivery today it is 10th May 2024. Will Never order again from this site. It needs to be delivered in Sweden

Stay away from this company!!!

Stay away from this company. They sold a faulty set of batteries to my Canon 1DX. In the product description it said it was fully compatible but nothing was working upon delivery. They could not send a replacement and I had to pay an expensive freight back to their office in Germany.

PS. The batteries that did not work is still promoted as functional and compatible with my camera, so do not trust the compatibility statements. And, when you realize it does not work you have to cover freight charges to get the money back…

Avoid Subtel - customer service is crap

Avoid Subtel. I looked up the model number of my laptop and ordered a battery from their web shop. Everything was smooth and the battery arrived fast and smoothly. But the info on their site was wrong so the battery didn’t fit. I contacted their customer service and they recommended that I should buy another battery which should fit. When asked for a way to return the incorrect battery they won’t pay for shipping or reimburse this in any way. Surprisingly bad experience. Just buy from somewhere else - the competition is fierce so there are much better options that care about their reputation and customer experience. Don’t support companies like this.

We encourage you to check our compatibility table, right under the article on our website. By doing so, you'll make sure you get the right battery. Replacement batteries work everywhere the same way. If you order elsewhere but also don't take into account the data that is provided, you might again end up ordering the wrong item.

I think that as a customer when ordering, I should know what my computer is called, some battery tables, I don't know anything about where to find them? You who sell batteries are professionals, or you should ask the customer before you send a faulty battery to the customer

Horrible customer service

Because of a mistake I made, I cancelled an order within an hour. I did it twice because when ordering I immediately received an email confirmation. After cancelling I received nothing.
3 days later I get an email stating my package is about to be posted. I emailed support telling them I want to cancel the order, on which they replied I can send it back when I receive it.
I guess they hope I won't return it as shipping cost for returning are for me to pay.
Last time I'll buy there.

How would you expect me to cancel? I filled out the 'Cancellation Form'?
I communicated with your customer service before the package was shipped (according to the mails I received) and clearly stated I wanted to cancel my package. But customer service still let the package be shipped knowing I did not want it.
How would the fact that I ordered sunday night be any excuse? Do you sleep from sunday night until tuesday?

Again you sent us a revocation form during the night between Sunday and Monday, and then your parcel was shipped early on Monday at 7:41.

Terrible experience, not helpful staff

On February 3 I ordered the camera package for Canon. First of all, after paying it was total silence, I did not get a dispatch notice or anything, which is weird in my mind. After 2 weeks I asked for an update and got the tracking number that shows that the item is delivered (why not send the tracking directly, so I have an estimated date of delivery?).
I immediately contacted the carrier (Postnord) that said that the item was either lost or stolen, but now it's Subtel that I need to contact in order to get the item. After that Subtel can request the loss of the item and get compensation from the carrier.
Subtel says that I need to buy the item again, but I do not think that I need to pay twice. Would never recommend this company to anyone as the attitude is killing whole the shopping experience. It is sad to lose 200 sek, but it could be so much more expensive, so I just advise you to not buy anything from them as you might end up in the same situation. I already filled in the complaint to Konsumentsverket and will see how it goes.

We sent you an order confirmation on 03.02 at 15:20 and a shipment confirmation on 06.02 ar 18:12.
It would be weird indeed not to send those confirmations but since we did, it is okay.

Usually when a parcel is lost we offer to ship it again or to refund the amount. I am therefore genuinely surprise to read this. I personnally didn't deal with the case but it seems there might have been a confusion on our part.
