Received two different shoes, rectification is on the customer

Received two different shoes in one box (so an odd pair) contacted customer service who gave me two options:
1. Have a returns label emailed and then I need to go into a post office to return. Wait for the return to be received by them (between 1-2 weeks) and then wait for the refund (up to a week) meaning I wouldn’t be able to place a new order for 3 weeks

2. Be out of pocket and spend an extra $200 to receive the shoes

UPDATE: I returned the shoes and reordered. I received ANOTHER mismatched pair

Package not delivered and no refund

I received an email saying that my package was delivered. I was home all day and did not hear or see a courier and no package was delivered. I contacted the customer service who could not provide proof of delivery and would not process a refund. Absolute worst place to order anything.

Can’t exchange when payment method is Afterpay

I bought 2x pants in different sizes online that were sale. Did clothes class and collect at the Brighton store. Tried both on and they didn’t fit. The sales assistant told me I could exchange for the value or higher value. I was very happy with this. Found some runners I liked, went to pay and was told I can’t exchange because I paid with Afterpay the system won’t allow. I as told to go to the website and go to live chat and ask if I can be assisted as the store manager can’t help. Go on live chat and it’s useless. Do an email, it’s useless. Ring head office on the number provided online just has an answering service. How can I get help. And how stupid they have a payment method that does work with their system. I’m sure I’m not the only one that’s been caught out. Instore girls were lovely but the after service is terrible. I would appreciate a response.

Truly awful customer service

Truly awful customer service. My online order arrived missing an item. After contacting Stylerunner they advised orders get split sometimes and have different tracking numbers - it would have been good to know this when my order was first processed, not after it arrived half missing. 3 weeks later and still missing the other item I paid for after being told multiple times they’d follow up with the courier. I wanted to speak to someone but was told they did online chat only. Not sure I’ve encountered such frustrating and pathetic customer service before. Needless to say my days of shopping at style runner are over & I’ll make sure everyone I know who is considering shopping there, is aware of how awful their service is.

AMAZING service CANBERRA store

Just wanted to note I had the BEST customer service from Jemima CANBERRA store. I was desperately wanting the sold out leopard adidas SL's and being from Sydney had called all stores and tried Canberra. Jemima was so lovely from the moment I called and said you guys were showing for one pair but needed to find these. She called me back and and gave me the good news. I paid for these instore and she sent them out and I received these so quick. She wrote a beautiful note saying she hope I enjoyed these shoes. I know people are quick to complain but I wanted to say Thank you and I hope Jemima will be recognised for her fabulous customer service :)

The worst customer service!

Terrible service! I was supposed to receive two pairs of shoes but only received one. Made contact straight away and told them one was for a gift for someone overseas. They said they would prioritize this. Heard nothing so made contact again. They then said I needed to wait another 2 days for them to investigate even though that's what they said the first time. I said I won't get these in time so please help me sort this but they just wanted me to pay again but really don't trust them and spent $360. Never write bad reviews but this is the worst customer service I have experience so beware of dealing with this store as once they sell you something it seems they couldn't care less about solving any issues

Non existent customer care for online orders

They do not respond to your emails or online submissions. I brought a pair of runners that I brought online and broke after only 3 months. I have tried to get a response through their forms online but get nothing back.

No customer service just bots.

Wanted to speak to a real person as the shoes I bought my daughter were too small. I bought them for a Christmas present. We measured before purchasing using the size guide on their website yet the shoes are a completely different size to what it stated. I have since read the reviews and many people commented they were strange sizing. I wanted to exchange but they don’t do exchanges online and we don’t have a store in our state. I went online to customer service and was sent an email that I should purchase the correct size and send the others back for a refund. I purchased 3 sizes up as the ones we received were ridiculously small, which is, product not as described and not fit for purpose, I then went to send ours back for the refund but they denied it! It had passed the 30 days but they told me to buy the new pair and I did. The ones I have are in their original packaging and were boxed and given as a present for Christmas. I have sent photos of them and their packaging plus the new order I have placed for the larger size. I even have the satchel they came in. They won’t budge. They have no customer service.they are current stock and I now will have two pairs. I was not asking for a straight refund and it is their fault we bought the wrong size as their measurements are wrong as advertised. I will never buy from you again.

If I could do a negative 100 I would

If I could do a negative 100 I would. Incredibly, I bought the same pair of shoes 3 times and each time was sent the wrong size. I got on the chat and told the team after the first purchase so they gave me a discount and said send the shoes back and order again… and that the fault with the ordering size was fixed. Two more attempts and nothing changed. The LiveChat team were completely hopeless and offered ZERO solutions! The warehouse can’t do exchanges, I couldn’t go up the chain, even though the store I phone had the correct size they couldn’t do a phone order or coordinate with the warehouse so as far as I know if you order my size you’re going to get a youth size shoe. Terrible terrible service. Eventually I was told there was nothing they can do. How about correct the website issue???? Never using again. I see now there are many others with similar experiences. I’ll be sure to let everyone I know about my experience.

Do NOT order from Stylerunner

Bought a pair of NB sneakers and within 5 weeks a hole appeared. Then a second hole appeared so I contacted customer service. They requested photos and details of the shoe. The same shoe has a third hole appearing but they refuse to replace them. Very disappointed and will not order shoes through them again.

I had one of the worst customer…

I had one of the worst customer experiences buying a pair of $200 Sambas. The customer service team of Ashley and Olivia were rude, unhelpful and sent me around in circles until it was too late to do anything. $200 wasted.

I will never buy from here again and will continue to tell others not to either. I was very upset.

Purchased a e gift card from the…

Purchased a e gift card from the Australian site of Stylerunner for my granddaughter who lives in Australia
(Xmas pressie) for some reason the e gift card was in NZ Dollars which was of no use to her. Have tried contacting Stylerunner through their 0800 number and they cannot seem to rectify the problem and refund me my $100 . Have emailed them no response Bad customer service and I am so far down my $100 . Have tried the NZ store and no response there also Purchased e card 20/12/2023

Terrible quality and customer service

My sneakers I've owned for less than 3 weeks developed a hole in them in the heel area inside the shoe and are now completely useless to me due now being very uncomfortable and getting worse every time I wear them.

Style runner said they couldn't help me with my damaged shoes and it's my fault due to wearing them incorrectly why the hole developed. This is completely untrue, I am in the fitness industry have owned over 100 pairs of sneakers in my time, and know how to correctly wear a pair of sneakers that also fit and are in my size. A $130 pair of sneakers shouldn't be falling apart after being worn a handful of times.

Very disappointing customer service and this has put me off ever shopping with style runner again

Very happy with my purchase, quick delivery and they even sent a little kind note. Definitely purchasing from here again.

Stylerunner customer service is the WORST

Stylerunner customer service is the absolute pits. Zero stars. Avoid at all cost.
I purchased a product from the Brighton store that is faulty (the leather will not soften despite every attempt over months to break in the shoes following instructions from the manufacturer).
I have contacted customer service from Stylerunner and also the shoe brand themselves.
The shoe brand let me know that the product is in fact faulty and that if I purchased from them they would provide me a refund. I have a record of those communications with the brand also.
However Stylerunner customer service are refusing to let me return the product via the mail/post or handle this issue online. Stylerunner are insisting I go in store for the shoe to be "assessed", even though I live more than an hours drive away from the closest store.
The shoes were $250 and have literally injured me to the point if I walk more than a block in the sneakers I cant wear other shoes for weeks. The brand themselves have confirmed an issue with this shoe, in writing.
I am taking this to the ACCC but wanted to post here. Buyer beware, Stylerunner customer service is terrible and I will never purchase from there again.
I deem these shoes to have a major problem.
Detailed below is what constitutes a 'major problem" according to ACCC:
A major problem means the product:
- is unsafe
- is very different from the description or sample
- has either one serious problem or several smaller problems that would stop someone buying the product if they knew about them beforehand
- can’t be used for its normal purpose, or another purpose the consumer told the seller about before they bought it, and can’t easily be fixed within a reasonable time.
This product is unsafe. It is injuring my feet, repeatedly, and making it impossible for me to wear other shoes for weeks. The description of this product is a sneaker shoe. Shoes are to be worn when walking. I can not walk anywhere in these shoes without injury due to the way the leather is treated and not softening (confirmed by the manufacture/brand as a fault).
This shoe has a problem that would have stopped me buying the shoe if I had known at the time. I would not have bought these shoes if I knew the leather would never soften and the shoes would injure me (more than once).
This shoe, can not be used for its normal purpose (worn on feet for walking)
I have never returned a pair of shoes. Ive also never written a public review of an online store. But I am incredibly frustrated by this experience and the lack of customer service or concern.
