Refund
Clicked "dresses" on website and ordered what I thought was a dress. It turned out to be a skirt in the dress section. So returned it, which I received an email to state. The 8th December, I'm still awaiting my refund and have emailed. The response is their closed until the New Year. Now I've just read about the £4.50 charge, so more out of pocket.

Well iv never been banned from shopping online shop before …
I was quite excited to find stylecheat the clothing is completely my style and so I ordered 4 dresses to which they were beautiful and felt of lovely quality 1 I kept and wore to a 1 of the 2 balls I had booked over the Christmas period. After one wear the side tie had started to come away so I returned this dress as was faulty. I had the dress returned to me and the email I had in response was it had tags removed and had been worn and washed. Which I replied it had and was faulty and that's why I'd returned. I then had response to say that the machinist had actually repaired the tie and they were shocked by the pictures I had sent in. I wrote a formal complaint after some advice, to receive the same response to say I wouldn't be given a refund, that they had ran my name through the company and I had ordered 4 dresses and had a 100 percent return rate which wouldn't have been if the dress I wore and loved actually hadn't broken I was hoping to wear again. The 3 other dresses just weren't what I was looking for for the second ball iv just been to. Even worse they have accused me of wearing and returning and damaging and returning and I am now unable to shop at style cheat and have been suspended. I am not happy with how this has been dealt with. I also feel really disappointed to not be able to shop from here again.
Edit to say : it's the outside tie and has been the whole time. I took the picture on my phone before I sent it to you the first time. I also ordered about 20 dresses from club london and only settled on one from there too for my second ball that's what happens when you attend a flashy ball you like to make sure the dress you've ordered is exactly as you like.

Returns process is ridiculously long
Returns process is ridiculously long, return was delivered by to them a week ago but still haven’t received any notification or refund…. All that and a £4.50 charge on top. Won’t be buying from Style Cheat again.

The website is misleading...is this actually legal?
The website is misleading as no where does it state that there will be a £4.50 charge for returning an item. Under the returning from Europe section it does state that the charge would be £9.99. As such, that it does not state that there will be a charge to return from the UK suggests there will be no charge. Is this actually legal? I can see from the answers to the other complaints about the same thing that Style cheat argue that they are charging for returns for the sake of the planet, which is fair enough but I would also wonder if they are so concerned about the planet they might consider as a starting point using less plastic in sending items. I would also suggest that if you are claiming to be doing things for the greater good, you might want to make sure your website it not misleading.

Would not rush to buy from Style Cheat…
I have been put off ordering from Style Cheat as they charge you £4.50 for a return. I have now ordered twice and all items went back! I couldn’t believe the cost to return especially when you have to pay for delivery!

Beware of the returns charges!
First time of ordering from this company, ordered a dress which is lovely but too big for my usual size and a little long for me. Not happy at the £4.50 deduction to return an item for refund, I selected to exchange for another item but very dismayed they only provide a select few choices to exchange items for and not across the whole range. I would quite happily pay more in difference for something else but this is not an option.
**EDIT: after emailing about the above and the below response, the exchange is not available site wide, just the items that are the same cost or less than what you originally paid, it's poor they don't allow an exchange for an item of any cost and for you to pay the difference if it is more like you would be able to in a retail shop.

A company that simply does not care…
*Update to response* - Holly is obviously unaware of the Consumer Rights policy - an item must be in a fit for purpose condition, lasting more than an hour/short wear which it did not.
If a customer has ‘accepted’ an item, but later discovers a fault, you may have to repair or replace it. The customer can still reject the item after it’s been repaired or replaced and they are within their legal entitlement to request a refund.
I await your reposnse to the Trading Standards letter that was issued earlier.

I received the Paige dress for a wedding, located two hours from home. I tried the dress and accessories on the day before and everything seemed fine.
It became apparent at the wedding that the belt was faulty, it continuously became loose which caused me great anxiety, trying to hold it on for photos until I got upset and had to remove it from the dress.
I worry a lot and this really upset me, I ended up sitting at the table for most of the wedding feeling awful, we even left the wedding early.
I believe either the metal section is too short to fit through the loops or something else inside/mechanism was faulty.
I returned the dress as faulty, requested a refund as it caused me such a great deal of stress, I simply did not want the burden of it happening again with a new belt.
I was TOLD by Holly at Customer Services that the dress was being sent back to me with a new belt.
Despite being within full legal entitlement to a refund, after advice from Citizens Advice and Which?, she ignored my request twice and posted out the dress to me without my agreement or awaiting my response. I had even sent screenshots of the Citizens Advice info clearly stating that I did not have to accept a replacement and I am fully entitled to request a refund.
I am absolutely appalled by her behavior and the poor/not fit for purpose garment I received. It has caused me a great deal of unnecessary stress today, absolutely no care given. Please avoid at all costs.
I have also left a 1 star review for the dress itself on the website which has been deleted twice now.

Prompt and helpful service
The dress I was originally sent had a small tear in it so I contacted the customer service team via email and they responded within an hour, apologizing and stating they would send me another dress free of charge with next day delivery.
I then made a mistake and sent back the wrong parcel to them. They again responded promptly, keeping me updated with when they received it and sent back my parcel, kindly sending me the tracking number so I would know when to expect it.
A big thank you for this kind of experience!

Dress ordered from style cheat caused…
Dress ordered from style cheat caused me rope burn round my neck and sent them pictures of the burn on my skin and they accused me of lying and are refusing to refund me! Avoid this company they don’t care and have no customer service at all not even an apology for me just denial, they told me its polyester and wouldn’t cause it but neck part is rope. Absolutely in shock at their response and will never order again.

Clothes materials are not great quality and they are expensive in my opinion. Clothes looks fine on the website but once you try them they are just not the same.Plus you pay for the shipping and to return it too. It’s not worth the money.

Next day delivery fail
Bought a couple of dresses on Saturday and paid for next day delivery. Supposed to have arrived today.
Nothing here and it’s almost 7pm. Was supposed to wear it tomorrow morning at Wimbledon.
Will never buy from this company again.
