Studio Bust Reviews 

I cannot recommend studio bust enough! I went to Manchester for my scan with Tara who was so lovely and helpful going through all the options and poses etc. She made me feel so comfortable(being completely naked doesn’t come naturally to me or anyone) and now I have a beautifully made bust of myself 33 weeks pregnant with my daughter. It also arrived so quickly in December and now takes pride of place on my book shelf. Pregnant or just fancy a bust of yourself, do it! You won’t regret it. Thank you so much again.

Not only for pregnant ladies!
I was a bit unsure if I am "brave" enough to do something like this. But it turned out to be a great experience. I felt safe every step along the way. You get help regarding the finishes and posture there by the super duper nice studio bust team.
Also I want to say that this is not only a good idea for pregnant ladies. I would also recommend it for everyone who wants to have a reminder how strong they are (and how beautiful you are!). Maybe also a monument for something you overcame? A big milestone you reached? For me this is a 10/10 recommendation.

A genuinely great experience from start to finished bust! I knew this would be my last pregnancy so wanted to do something to commemorate it. I’m not one for posing for photos so this seemed like an ideal option. Yes, you have to stand naked in a room with a stranger but during pregnancy you become accustomed to awkward naked moments. But, there was nothing awkward or uncomfortable about the experience, I truly loved it and couldn’t be happier with my finished bust. I have already recommended to friends and will continue to do so.

They make you feel very comfortable during the scan and I love the actual bust. It's even better than I expected! Great experience all around.

I decided to get a bust to commemorate my final pregnancy. Best decision ever and one I would recommend to everyone. The care, attention and sensitivity that is shown at every stage made it a lovely experience and I now have something I will cherish forever.

My bust arrived today and I and thrilled with it! I adore the finish and it’s incredibly study & satisfying to hold - makes me feel like I’ve won an Oscar. Really pleased I have something to capture this unique moment and even sweeter now that our daughter is with us to look back on this experience.

I’m so happy I stumbled across studio bust while pregnant! I had my scan done at 36 weeks pregnant in NYC and it is the most special piece of art I will ever own. Tara was so wonderful to work with and made my experience extremely comfortable and fun. Keep coming to New York so I can make one for every future child!! <3

The whole experience from start to finish was second to none! I would highly recommend Studio Bust for anyone looking for a special keepsake of their pregnancy. I actually found the experience on the day really enjoyable, despite being a little nervous beforehand about getting naked! The location in NY where the appointment took place was lovely and Tara put my mind at ease right away. We tried a variety of poses and reviewed the 3D images on a screen together in order to select my preferred. I left the appointment feeling rather liberated, as well as with a lovey tote bag and cap from Studio Bust. The finished product arrived around 3 months later and sits pride of place on my mantelpiece! I absolutely love it. Communication throughout the whole experience was fantastic. If you are intrigued about getting a bust of your pregnant body - go for it! You will not regret it.

I discovered Studio bust when I was deep in the midst of a fertility struggle and I immediately decided that if I was lucky enough to get pregnant I would book myself in. After years of struggling to conceive it's safe to say I had a less than positive view of my body. When I finally booked in, I was still full of fear and anxiety but I booked my appointment at the Hampshire Studio for the week I'd be 33 weeks pregnant. Mads was so easy to communicate with over email when making my booking and in person she was so warm and welcoming, she immediately put me at ease, which is just what you want when you're about to take your clothes of in front of a stranger. She talked me through stances/positions and we tried a few in order to get the best one for me. Once we settled on the scan the next choice was the finish of my sculpture. I knew I wanted a lacquer version as this was what my budget would stretch to, but there's so much choice in terms of colour. In the end I settled for a timeless off white. The whole appointment lasted about half an hour, after which I went home and waited for baby and bust to arrive. My bust arrived roughly 3 months after the appointment and I genuinely felt a little nervous opening it, what if I didn't love it?! But I needn't have worried, I felt so emotional looking at it, now knowing who was in there. My body finally did it, I have my beautiful daughter in my arms and even if I never conceive again I have that moment in time on display in pride of place. I can't help but look at it, it's such a beautiful keepsake and I can't wait to tell Delilah that that's mummy and her.

Getting naked and poses in front of a total stranger whilst heavily pregnant is not something I would’ve ever thought I’d be comfortable doing, however Mads at Studio Bust couldn’t have made me feel more comfortable and relaxed. As it turns out doing various poses in the nude is quite liberating! I wanted to get a special surprise item for my fiancé to celebrate the birth of our first child (a dad push present?!) and for our 8 year anniversary which was just a couple of months after our daughters birth. Needless to say he was blown away by it, and it’s a truly special family heirloom that we will love for generations, as I plan to pass it on to my daughter when she is old enough. No longer pregnant I look at it in awe at what my body did during that time, and can’t quite believe I had that bump on me! I went with a lacquer finish as it was within my budget and I could not be happier. A special colour was chosen with help from Mads to match some interior details we have. I received my Studio Bust this week and I am in love with it. Which for me is an odd feeling given that it is a model of my own body. However that sums up Studio Bust - Mads and her team are able to create something that I will treasure forever because it is so unique and makes me look at myself in a completely new way.

The bust itself is made beautifully - it is tactile and weighty. The colour and finish choices were really difficult to choose from because they look gorgeous in different ways. I went for a yellow laquer and am so happy with it, particularly because it comes on a brass base which really sets it off. It looks like a fun piece of art in the yellow which is the look I was going for as I wanted people to see it but not necessarily realise who it was!

Thank you so, so much for creating it and for making me feel so at ease when I came for my appointment. I felt relaxed and in no way embarrassed, from the moment I walked in.

Having my scan at 35 weeks pregnant where I felt anything but ready to undress in front of a stranger, Mads made me feel so comfortable and empowered by the end of the session. The environment was relaxed, private and comfortable and it all felt very easy.

When my bust arrived, I now knew the little person inside and it was very emotional seeing us both together like this. I will absolutely treasure it for ever. The bust was also thoughtfully presented and all in all, felt like an incredibly special and unique memory of pregnancy.

Both the experience and final product from Studio Bust was so wonderful.
The meeting was private, friendly and in the most beautiful house with chance to do several poses and review and redo them.
The final product is just the most special thing and I am so glad I have it forever. Pictures of pregnancy seem a bit weird to have constantly on display in the home but this bust is just the most beautiful ornament that I am so proud to display. It looks elegant and timeless and a wonderful celebration of the female body.

After searching for a way to capture my pregnancy with my first baby, I found Studio Bust and am so glad I did! I look at my Bust every day and it is my most treasured possession. I found the scan experience truly empowering and I enjoyed it from beginning to end. If you're thinking about having a Bust made, do it!

My experience with Studio Bust was wonderful. I first spotted one of their busts on Instagram and thought it was beautiful, a really special way to capture my pregnancy and a tasteful way to display it in my home.
The process of getting the 3D images was intimate but comfortable, I've never posed naked in front of a stranger before but the direction given and the warmth made it an enjoyable experience.

I had such an amazing experience having a bust made during my pregnancy. It was a gift from two close friends and I am so happy to have it! I really loved the idea of having some way of remembering my pregnant body, but I knew I would never feel comfortable doing any kind of photoshoot. This is so special and unique and I will treasure it forever. I thought I would feel self-conscious during the scan but I didn't at all, I was totally put at ease and it was actually very empowering.
