Elaborate scam artists!

Imagine the most dishonnest and con platform. Think. Think again. And now, just consider these guys are even worse than that. Let me tell you about how I got to get scammed by them.
In May 25, my brother and I changed plans and couldn't attend a concert in Detroit, MI. I checked online and saw that stubhub was a common way in the US to resell tickets so I offered our two tickets for sale there.
That same day, I've received an offer and proceeded with the transfer of one ticket. Didn't work by email as it was probably double checked. I contacted assistance from stubhub and I've been said to transfer it from the website from which I did purchase the ticket, which I then did.
But because I didn't find a good enough reason to create an accound on the website where I had purchased the ticket, I logged in as guest. Which made it impossible for that website to transfer the ticket. The sale couldn't proceed.
The then impatient person who bought my ticket was obviously reimbursed. But then I was charged extra the amound of the ticket (as fees for stubhub) without the sale being finished. As if I was charged for the sale not working when it was not my fault.
Later on, I contacted the assistance of stubhub. And after promising me that they would work on the situation and get back to me, no news whatsoever. Eventually, they suggested me to open a ticket from an email that was sent to me, where no link was present...
Such an elaborate scam. Cheers to you guys, well done!

1 Star - Sold Me Fake Tickets, Then Charged ME When I Couldn't Deliver Them
I purchased tickets through StubHub, but due to a death in my family, I was unable to attend the concert. On the day of the event, I listed the tickets for resale on their platform at a significant discount. Someone purchased them immediately.
However, when I attempted to transfer the tickets to the buyer, I discovered that the tickets I had originally purchased from StubHub were fake. I could not deliver what I didn't legitimately have.
StubHub's response? They charged me a $200 non-delivery fee. While they claimed I would be refunded, it is now November and I still have not received my refund from the August 7th incident.
To be clear: StubHub sold me fraudulent tickets, then penalized me for being unable to deliver those same fraudulent tickets to another buyer. I am out the cost of the original fake tickets AND the $200 fee, with no resolution in sight despite their promises.
This is unacceptable. StubHub's guarantee should protect buyers from fake tickets, not charge them additional fees when those fake tickets can't be transferred. Still waiting for my refund months later.

If I could give them a zero I would

If I could give them a zero I would. This company is terrible, they rip you off and don’t try to make things right. I had a terrible experience with them not refunding my money after trying to get tickets to an email that wasn’t working.

This is a scam company imposing…

This is a scam company imposing extremely high « admin » fees for selling second hand tickets (60 euros for a ticket originally 90 euros)
And … you don’t obtain the ticket until last minute ! (I’m not even sure this is a genuine ticket)

Scam!! Avoid at all costs!!

If I could give zero stars, I would. Stubhub is the definition of a scam wrapped in a fake smile. I ordered tickets they claimed would be delivered via FedEx — spoiler alert: no FedEx, no tickets, no trace of anything but my money leaving my account.

I contacted their so-called “customer support” (read: a black hole of excuses and ghosting), and surprise, surprise — no refund, no help, just automated nonsense and radio silence. Every response felt like a bot trying to stall until you give up.

Let’s be real: we didn’t buy tickets, we made a fake company richer. They took my money and vanished like a magician at a low-budget kids’ party — poof, gone.

Save yourself the trouble. Unless your hobby is donating money to fraudsters in exchange for absolutely nothing, stay far away from Stubhub. This isn’t just poor service — it’s deliberate theft dressed up as a business.

**SCAM

**SCAM! Do not sell on this website!**
I sold 2 tickets for Dortmund vs. Barcelona, and the buyer claimed the tickets didn’t work at the stadium. However, I contacted Dortmund, and they confirmed the tickets had only been scanned once. I provided all the evidence to StubHub, but they told me it was too late to submit proof. Now I’m being charged €250, and I lost my two tickets. This is outrageous!

Avid buying or selling this company is awful

Absolutely awful customer service amd experience I would avoid buying or selling from here! I have raised a complaint which has been ignored, I have contacted them again regarding this and have been ignored. I have asked that this be escalated further and requested information regarding their complaints process..ignored. All this company does is take your money which I’ve now lost due to there error and they choose to ignore instead of sort the issue out, please please avoid, it’s disgraceful, no doubt this will be ignored also!

Avoid using overhyped reseller...

Tried to sell tickets and was bombarded with how great Stub Hub is and how the service doesn't quit. They canceled my auction with no notice and never sold my tickets. I contacted their customer no service and received generic no answers and the threat if I sold my tickets I might still receive charges from Stub Hub.
