My name is Michael and I am happy to say over the years StubHub have been very good to me, they were there when I bought tickets for some big music events.well done guys.
Please take care when considering using StubHub. Their software is poor and customer service even poorer. I purchased tickets in the afternoon for a seven o'clock show. I paid over £400 and when the tickets were sent through, immediately, it was for a show that had already started over an hour earlier. Despite a FanProtect promise that tickets will arrive in time for the event, StubHub are not in the slightest bit interested in me or the tickets being mis-sold. Beware using StubHub or, better still, just steer well clear!
Good service easy to deal with would highly recommended :)
I was desperate for a ticket and so accepted the price being asked. The transaction was smooth and I received the ticket within five minutes
I would not use StubHub again. I purchased good seats for a NRL game; the day before I was emailed and told the seats were no longer available and were not going to be released by the seller. They then offered me different seats that were effectively the "cheap seats" with only a refund of NZ$150. I took them anyway and then there was a long stressful few hours on the day of the game, wondering where my tickets were. StubHub kept telling me "they're in your Ticketek or Tickmaster account" (they were in neither). StubHub eventually emailed PDF copies of the tickets which I was sceptical about. They ended up being genuine but the whole process getting them was a bloody nightmare!
Just easy to get my ticket at a good price and everything went so smoothly
Bought tickets to a Weeknd show in Amsterdam show a few days before the event. Tickets said ready but never showed up. Contacted support each day for 4 days leading up to the show because it felt off. Support kept saying they would look into and get back in touch which they never did. Eventually at 7pm (show started 6:50) they said that since the tickets didn’t arrive they would offer me tickets, but there were none so they offered a refund which DIDNT include getting the 300 euro thru charged in fees.
They did this again to me on the Saturday show when they didn’t fulfil the tickets. Another 100 euro in fees they don’t reimburse. So they have a scam to offer tickets but the not fulfil and then keep the fees. Criminal scam.
Avoid for any show you actually care to see.
2nd time using StubHub
1st time Coldplay
2nd time BTS
Smooth seamless transaction both times.
Easy transfer from seller on both occasions.
StubHub is my 'GoTo' for resale
Unwanted review request - will NOT UNSUBSCRIBE ME
I am fed up with the continual Review Requests that I receive from StubHub. I have reviewed my sale and purchase. I have tried on numerous occasions to Unsubscribe using their Unsubscribe link. They totally ignore me and continue to send me Review requests.
Thank you Stubhub for spamming my mail. I will Never use your site again
Complete SCAM! I bought two adult tickets to Goodwood Festival Of Speed and when the tickets arrived they were children's tickets and Stubhub refuse to refund me even though they sold them as adult tickets. I have called multiple times and emailed multiple times and I get nowhere with their customer support team!
I bought a Pelouse ticket closer to the stage for the BTS concert in Paris for this Saturday for almost £259 and a sitting ticket far away on the rooftop of the stadium was delivered to me. That ticket was so very cheap from what I bought and I asked for a refund and still hasn’t received it. I am very disappointed because I travelled from London to Paris just for this concert and I may not be able to attend
Very horrible experience that I've had with them
Bought tickets to a venue through stubhub. Recieved tickets through email. Went to venue and they said the tickets were no good. Called customer service, if you want to call it that, and they couldn't help. Scam! Stay away.
Although there was an initial issue with the tickets.
Lika from Stubhub went out of her way to help us get new tickets for the game.
They are den of robbers disguised as a business. The first time I tried them, they never sent me my actual tickets. It was a college basketball game and the security people let me in at half time based on what she saw on my email and evidence that I had paid for it.
Second time was last night for the Lion King on Broadway. I paid for seats on row W and they gave me seats on row Y. And they sent an email acknowledging this and saying there is no recourse for me whatsoever. No option to cancel. No option to get the seats I wanted. No refund. No difference in the price. Of course, this happened a couple of hours before the show. Buyer beware!
I think there was a higgest fee than the one showed on the web, not happy for that.
I sold two tickets for the FIBA Women's Basketball World Cup Final Weekend on StubHub International (sale 287054021). StubHub generated the UPS label itself and declared the shipment as a 0.2 kg "document" envelope. UK customs stopped the parcel on 11 May 2026 because event tickets do not qualify as documents. The customs hold was resolved on 20 May 2026. Since then the parcel has not received a single UPS scan, 57 days and counting. Only StubHub, as shipper of record, can open a UPS tracer, I cannot do this myself.
Since 13 May I have used every channel StubHub offers: three chat escalations, the email thread on case 1369711, two tickets via the official support portal (no confirmation email ever arrived) and an executive escalation on 4 July with a constructive settlement proposal. The last substantive reply from customer service was on 19 June, a single sentence saying they are "in contact with UPS". Four explicit deadlines (23 June, 30 June, 2 July, 9 July) passed without any substantive answer.
Three simple questions have been open since 14 June: 1) Has a UPS tracer been filed, with date and reference number? 2) How will the buyer be protected before the event on 12-13 September? 3) Written confirmation that no seller penalty will be applied, given that the delay was caused by StubHub's own mislabelled shipment.
The event is sold out and StubHub's own delivery deadline is 5 September. A buyer paid for tickets she may never receive, and the seller is left in limbo for a shipping error that is documented as StubHub's. Label photo, full tracking history and the complete email chain are available.
Sale 287054021, case 1369711. I will update this review if StubHub resolves the case.
Experience was so Amazing and Wonderful! Service was good and friendly. Just maybe make it not too pricey.
I want to start this review by saying that I did eventually receive tickets for my event, but they only arrived around five hours before the show. Unfortunately, the tickets I received were not the ones I originally purchased, although StubHub did provide a 20% refund to compensate for the difference.
The reason I am giving this a 2-star review is that, while the StubHub support team did what they could to help, the overall experience was extremely disappointing. I spoke with three customer service representatives. The first two genuinely tried to assist by contacting the seller. During my second call, the representative was able to reach the seller and informed me that the delay was because my tickets were supposedly being "upgraded."
By this point, the event was only a few hours away, and I needed to make travel arrangements. I was offered alternative seats and told exactly where they would be. Although I knew the row number was different, I accepted them because they were described as an "upgrade." I assumed there must be some additional benefit, such as a better overall view, premium seating, or some other advantage that justified calling them an upgrade. Combined with the fact that I was under significant time pressure and had no realistic alternative if I wanted to attend the event, I accepted the replacement tickets. I even said that I would take whatever the best available seats were.
What frustrated me most happened afterwards when I contacted StubHub a third time to understand what had happened to the tickets I had originally purchased. Rather than receiving a clear explanation, the representative told me that I had been offered an upgrade, had accepted it, and then questioned why I was asking about it now. The tone of the conversation made it feel as though the situation was somehow my fault for accepting the replacement tickets, despite the fact that I had accepted them based on the information I had been given and with very little time left before the event. I found this response unprofessional and extremely frustrating.
I also contacted the seller directly after receiving the replacement tickets, politely asking what had happened to the original tickets I had purchased. Unfortunately, I never received a response, which only added to the frustration and left me without any real explanation.
To make matters worse, these tickets were purchased as a gift. When we arrived at the venue, it became clear that the so-called "upgrade" was actually a significant downgrade. The original tickets were for Row K at the Eventim Apollo, whereas the replacement tickets were in Row W, much farther from the stage. Calling this an upgrade was misleading.
In the end, I'm grateful that my wife still enjoyed the show, which is the only reason this review isn't lower. As a first-time StubHub customer, this experience did not inspire confidence. While I appreciate the efforts of the first two representatives and the partial refund provided, the uncertainty, last-minute delivery, poor communication, the dismissive response from the final representative, the seller's lack of communication, and ultimately receiving substantially worse seats made for a very stressful and disappointing experience.
I would strongly advise others to avoid using StubHub unless they have no other option for obtaining tickets.
Had an issue with my sale. Contacted customer service and Juan Carlos M helped me out to solve everything. He was knowledgeable, kind and patient helping me navigate the issue. The communication was kept open and my issue was solved promptly. Very happy with the whole process.
