Very disappointing bus hop-on hop-off…

Very disappointing bus hop-on hop-off city tour!
Uncomftable seats, audio guide not working proberly, at least half of the time the bus were parked several times for 5 up to 10 minutes to unload and load a few passengers. Informations on interesting sites were very sparse. 35 Euro each - Dont ever join this company's arrangements it just a money maker!

Canal Cruise in Amsterdam

I took a canal cruise in Amsterdam I guess all companies are the same I'm leaving a 5 star because our Captain Andre was awesome! He didn't just let the pre recorded audio provide information but he also added his own commentary which was awesome! Andre was welcoming and friendly which made this cruise much better!

Outrages bad customer service

I bought tickets at Stromma’s stand in Nyhavn, and immediately realised it was a mistake. I told the staff right away and asked repeatedly if a refund was possible. The employee kept assuring me that I would get my money back if I emailed customer service.

I followed their instructions within minutes, yet Stromma refused to refund the payment, even though we never used the tickets or received any service.

This experience was incredibly frustrating. A company that prides itself on customer service should never mislead a customer and then refuse to make it right. Enforcing a “non-refundable” policy in a situation like this is unfair and unacceptable.

I hope Stromma improves staff training and communication, because this was confusing, stressful, and completely avoidable. No customer should have to pay for a service they didn’t use, based on false information from staff.

The buses don't run often enough

The buses don't run often enough, didn't stick to any sort of timeliness, the boat was supposed to be 10am didn't come until 11am, no WiFi available so entire tour experience was looking out the window with no audio - I was told to try and use my own WiFi

This company is a complete scam please…

This company is a complete scam please beware. They are bookable via a reputable platform like booking.com which we booked our so called canal tour from, trusting because we booked via a reputable platform. But we were scammed out of 40 euros by this company. There was nothing and no-one at the designated tour start point at the booked time for the canal sightseeing tour Copenhagen. Only a rude woman who said the place was closed and tried to chase us away to a supposed place 10 minutes away which was suspicious at best, a further scam attempt at worst. Stay away from this company, it is a scam. They don’t even answer the phones.

Really needs to improve a lot!

City tour was by bus. The bus itself was OK, but the guidning (in English) was very bad since very little guidning was given and a majority of important information about the city and museums was not presented. In addition, the bus stopped for ages waiting for cruise passengers. Took almost half of the estimated time for the guiding.

Very nice people

Disclaimer: We did not actually book our hop on/off with Stromma, however, we got lost looking for our sightseeing bus in Kopenhagen and they were super nice, offering us a short ride and instructions to find our bus.
I will say, this company seems to have more hop on/off busses or at least they're easier to find as they seemed to be at every major sightseeing station instead of somewhere around like the others. Routes also directly include the port in case you're there by cruise.

Was surprised at how BAD this…

Was surprised at how BAD this experience was. We're in a sophisticated, technologically advanced city of Stockholm. Took three of these buses, due to hop on/ hop off. Two of them, the commentary didn't work, throughout the entire upper floor. All three, there was no wifi (although they advertise "free wi-fi.") None of the drivers gave a flip. No refunds, so you're screwed. I will never take one of these again! Why not just spend a few euros to take me to old town instead?

Excruciating 20 minute wait to take off from near old Town. They might make a few less euros if the busses actually had any legroom, but no, you're crammed in like sardines, with none of the actual "services" they advertise! Why pay €35 + for this kind of bullcrap?

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! First boat reeked from the bathroom which had the strong stench of urine and poop, like it hadn’t been cleaned in months. An employee encouraged us to wait and take the next boat where we could get seats away from the bathroom, so we did. There were three couples in our group and we were the first to board the next boat. We all took forward-facing seats, but the Captain came came over to us and said one couple should move to backward-facing seats in case other passengers wanted the seats we were in. We were shocked (as were other passengers seated near us). We said we paid for the seats we were in and weren’t moving. After a ridiculous back and forth with the obnoxious captain one couple in our group agreed to move when the captain said the boat wouldn’t move until one of us did. In retrospect we should have just gotten off and demanded a refund. After leaving the dock the couple moved to empty forward-facing seats. A thoroughly unpleasant and needless situation created by the Captain who lacked any sense of customer experience skills. Between the foul-smelling first boat and the foul personality of the second boat’s captain, what should have been a pleasant highlight of our trip to Amsterdam was anything but. Be forewarned. There have to be much better options available.

Don't trust them

The day we took the canal tour, the sea water level was high, therefore we had to walk about 800m to jump into the boat and the boat did not go through the canals, which is the most beautiful part of the tour. They were aware of that when buying the tickets, but didn't say anything or give us a discount. They only cared about collecting money regardless the experience they provided.
Intresting enough on top of that they guide was criticizing GoBoat competitor, where you can rent your own boat by the hour. I have tried it too and highly recommended if you just want to relax and go on your own pace.

The sightseingbus nevet turnés up.…

Had booked and payed for citysightseing in Visby on 11. September. Waited 1hour for the bus, which was sceduled to start at 11 on Hamnplats. Starting point.
The busdriver obviusly choosed to jump the stop.
The bus nevet came and custumers service couldn’t give a prober explanation so they ended up offering to refund my tickets. Very disapointing.

Dont choose this boat company

We’re arrived in Stockholm and having the most beautiful weather.
We decided to have a boattrip and chose Stromma - there was no other around.
We paid 580 swedish kroner for 2 tickets valid for 24 hours.
We soon realized that the trip is really short and overprized.
We took the advantage of the hop on hop off at the ABBA museum.
The guides and signs told us a max wait of 10 minutes. We waited 45 minutes and saw all the other companies came within 10 min and for a prize of only 105 per person.
We really had a bad experience of a boattrip which wasn’t organized but only overprized.

Our advise. Take SL boats for the same trip but much cheaper
