Our recent trip to Italy from Venice, Florence, and Rome to Positano went better than I ever could have imagined! My mother and I planned this trip with Eirini’s expert help. She provided invaluable experience and suggestions. I found her to be very thorough and quick to reply when I had questions. Every tour, accommodation and transfer met or exceeded our expectations! Even more important than the pre-trip planning, I found the responsiveness during our trip the best part. Each day, I was sent a message with the itinerary for the next day with links to each ticket we might need. When I had questions or concerns, my messages were answered immediately and expertly. I would not hesitate to use this service again and wholeheartedly recommend them!
There are a few outstanding people and tours I want to specifically mention. First, our tour guide in Venice was absolutely amazing! Sarah was so friendly and hospitable. We felt like family by the time we were finished! We came to love Venice thanks to her unique insight. She was top notch!
Next, our tour guide in Florence—Elena from Walks Italy—did an excellent job. Even better was our cooking class with Alberto! This was probably the highlight of the trip and most definitely one of our best meals. We so thoroughly enjoyed this experience and loved our interaction with him!
In Rome, we considered ourselves so fortunate to meet Linda from Liv Tours, the tour guide for the Vatican Museums, the Sistine Chapel and St. Peter’s Basilica. She was phenomenal and gave a tour with the perfect balance of humor, personality and information. I felt like the size of this group was perfect (only 6 of us).
In Pompeii, our tour guide was also incredible, although his name eludes me. We loved our time in Pompeii!
Last but not least, our suite in Positano was absolutely amazing! I was dubious about it since I had had my heart set on a really upscale hotel that I couldn’t afford. But the Imperati Suites exceeded every expectation I had. It was the cutest place I’ve ever stayed with the most amazing view, the most relaxing shower and a breakfast that blew us away. As if that were not enough, the host, Katia, made it even better. She was so attentive and helpful throughout our stay. I can not sing the praises of this place enough. And the little restaurant nearby (Mediterranio) was our favorite of the whole trip, so we went twice! I am so grateful that Eirini recommended this accommodation as a more budget friendly option. I can’t imagine we would have enjoyed anywhere else as much as we enjoyed our stay here!
As I said before, each transfer and train ride went flawlessly and we were so appreciative that we had all those logistics worked out ahead of time! Thank you so much for providing excellent service and clear communication throughout so we were free to enjoy every moment of this spectacular trip! We will treasure our time in Italy forever!

The confidence and security provided by Storywalking was outstanding... The passion and experience of Arianna was very evident in the selection of Hotels, Tours and pacing of the itinerary... The entire process went together like a new set of LEGOS.... Location of Hotels that provided walking access to scheduled tours and restaurants... Drivers that were on time or earlier... Daily communications with mobile tickets for Trains and Tours was all seamless... Travel is typically stressful... Storywalking eliminated so much of it... We highly recommend.

Eirini was very helpful and very responsive throughout the entire planning process. She was able to make changes to our trip without trouble and provided excellent suggestions and guidance for our trip to Italy. Eirini connected us to a local guide while we were in Italy and although we were a little confused as to why we were connected to a different person, Eirini still was there to answer our questions, along with Francesca from StoryWalking who was our more direct contact during our trip. Eirini chose great accommodations and food tours for us to be a part of and it was so nice to have all of the accommodations and reservations taken care of for us. We did run into a problem on our trip, that was out of StoryWalking's control and our control. We were a little stressed out at having to spend more money because of this issue however, Francesca from StoryWalking was able to help us out throughout the process and helped to ease us and provide us with private transportation, even though it was originally not going to be possible.

Our 30-day trip through northern Italy was virtually flawless. Our trip planning partner (Arianna) did a great job listening to our interests (wine, food, cooking, and natural areas/lakes/mountains) cities and regions that we wanted to visit, and building an itinerary that met all of our expectations at a reasonable price. All transfers throughout our trip were on-time, and our drivers were courteous and professional. Our guides for each tour were top-notch and very friendly and personable, and while we may not recall their names, our most memorable tours were as follows (not necessarily in rank order): the truffle hunt near Canale; the cooking class on Lake Como and the cooking class in Florence; the back-roads/less touristy places tour in Venice, Murano glass factory, Ricchi Winery (near Lake Garda) with lunch in a vineyard, the tour of four of the five villages of Cinque Terre, the sunset food tour and tasting in Bologna, and the parmesan-reggiano and balsamic vinegar tours in Modena. Above all, our daily conversations (via WhatsApp) with Francesca were very helpful in keeping us on-track, and also very pleasant and enjoyable. It is very clear to us that Arianna and Francesca are passionately committed to doing everything they can to help each customer thoroughly enjoy their vacation.

This was possibly the best vacation we have ever taken. A fitting trip to mark our 25th Wedding Anniversary, we will remember our days in Positano and Sorrento forever. Everything was perfect and the service and support were extraordinary. Our Storywalking's travel specialist and the other people were always super-helpful and friendly. The hotels they chose for us in particular were exactly what we wanted. I can’t think of a single issue. Transport, transfers, etc., were perfect. The only bad part was that we had to return to normal life afterwards! We highly recommend Storywalking and Arianna (our travel specialist) to everyone who is looking for the Italian dream vacation! This was our third trip organized through Storywalking, and once again, it was absolutely flawless. This time, we traveled from the French Riviera to Milan, and everything—from start to finish—was perfectly arranged.

Having a 24-hour contact number for emergencies provided peace of mind, though we never had to use it—everything went so smoothly. Everyone we interacted with was friendly, helpful, and a pleasure to work with.

Our Italian vacation was amazing! Highlights were half day trip to the island of Procida, cooking class at the home of Manuela and Maurizio in Naples, food and wine tour with Tamara in Sorrento, tour of Pompeii with Mario and the exquisite hotel room and beach experience at La Tonnarella in Sorrento.
Arrividerci for now Italia but hope to return sometime!!!

Fabulous trip to Italy!
My mom and I had an amazing adventure in Italy. It was well organized and planned out by Jessica. The food, accommodation and sightseeing were incredible! We had a fabulous time!

We had a fantastic trip! This was my first time booking a trip with an online agent and I was a bit nervous but everything went really really well. Hotels were fantastic. All guides were great. Some of our tours even included museums or galleries we didn’t even realize were included, making for an awesome “once in a lifetime” trip for our family (ages 5 - 48). Every transition from day trip drivers to train or water taxi transfers went perfectly. The local representative was responsive throughout and helpful with a handful of real time hiccups. Truly no complaints and would definitely book again.

We were more than pleased with our experience with Storywalking. From start to finish, our agent and her staff were fabulous and very responsive whenever I needed something or had a question. The tours they planned were just perfect. All of the guides and drivers were amazing and knowledgeable. We had some outstanding hotels throughout our stay in Italy. We took a day trip to Tuscan County side and our driver, Claudio, was excellent. He drove very well and gave very good advice about gelato and local places around Florence and every town we went too.

Our Storywalking travel consultant Arianna spent almost nine months working with me on a specialized tour of Northern Italy, that offered us flexibility to visit family as well as unusual, less toursity areas of the country. Over that time, significant changes occurred requiring alterations to our trip plan (e.g., number of people traveling, exact dates, locations to visit, accommodations needed, availability of direct flights, etc.). Arianna professionally and graciously lept into action to cooperatively problem-solve. When I needed suggestions, she delivered helpful information, but there was never any pressure or inflexibility. Every traveler need is thoughtfully addressed, with patience and aptitude, and the things you don't even know you want are delivered.

The accommodations she secured for us in Sirmione and Cortina d’Ampezzo were spectacular. We expressed our overall travel preferences and budget and she found lodging that far exceeded our expectations in some locations, while meeting expectations in the others.

Tours and experiences she booked offered us unique, high-quality, individualized access to information and places we would never have found on our own. We wished we booked more!

Arianna and her team were fantastic! Arianna crafted an itinerary that was tailored to our wishes. All the details were taken care of (transportation, tickets, etc.), so we did not need to spend time or worry about any of that - and instead just enjoyed ourselves. During the trip, if we had a question or needed a recommendation, they were extremely responsive and helpful. The private tour guides selected were fantastic; all three of them were local to the specific city/town and therefore they were able to give us a true, non-touristy experience. They gave us so much local knowledge about the culture, way of life, history, etc. We give StoryWalking the highest marks!

We had a fabulous time. Puhlia is fascinating and we learned so much more with our guides. Clothilde in Lecce led a tour that was the perfect balance of food and history. The pasta making class with Juanita in her home was so much fun, and I can't wait to try it at home. The itinerary was a good balance between guided activities and time on our own to explore. All the accommodations were great. It was reassuring to know that there was someone I could WhatsApp at any time to get more info and make an adjustment to the schedule. Absolutely wonderful!

This was our first time using Storywalking and Chiara was nothing less than an exceptional guide. Given this was our first trip to Italy, we wanted explore as many of the country’s key sites as possible. In nine glorious days, we managed to visit Venice, Florence, Tuscany hillside, Amalfi Coast and Rome. We never really felt rushed and every day our drivers and tour guides were prompt and extremely knowledgeable. Venice was fantastic to walk and see most of the island. Our guide graciously added a trip to Murano and a guided tour by a representative of the original glass maker. I highly recommend San Gimingnano and the wine and food tasting at Tenuta Torciano Winery. Our wine order was shipped promptly and delivered to us the day after we returned. For summer wine drinkers, highly recommend the locally produced Vernaccia! Focus your Amalfi Coast tour to Sorrento, Ravello and Positano. Rome was better than our initial expectations - cleaner and very walkable. Our tour of the colosseum with Goia was very hands on and a spectacular engineering achievement for the times. Cannot wait to get back to Italy again. I wanted to use more of my broken Italian but found everyone spoke English quite well!
