Thank you TPO for a great service!

My experience has been nothing but great for the pricing offered. TPO support was necessary at the outset (two years ago), but has been unnecessary ever since. My voicemail alerts on iPhone SE were a little quirky, but it wasn't irritating to me.
I loved their business model when I first signed up, and now am truly sorry to see them exit the US market.
I wish the TPO team well in their UK endeavors, and I hope someone in the US will be courageous enough to emulate these pioneers of truly good business ethics!
THANK YOU TPO!

Where do I even begin

Where do I even begin?
I've had TPO for over a year, and there hasn't been a single month that I haven't had some kind of issue, if not a variety of issues. I've frequently had data issues- when each new month starts, my data doesn't activate. I often have to call customer support numerous times before the situation is resolved. And for some unknown reason, they don't have 24/7 support, which means if something happens with my account in the evening or on the weekends, which it often does, there's no one to help me. I've been stranded, unable to get home, because my data spontaneously deactivated, and there was no one I could call to help. Just the other day I had to add some data to my plan, so I paid $12 for 1gb of data. However, it wasn't working, even after I paid, so I called and said it was imperative that the situation be solved, because I had to use the data for my work. I was told the problem was fixed. However, when I left for work the data wasn't working. It was now after 6pm EST so I couldn't call anyone. I missed a day of work that was crucial to me being able to pay my bills on time. I called TPO the next day and was told that someone put the wrong data on my plan. When I said that the entire reason I paid $12 for that 1gb was for this single day of work, which I missed, and I asked if they could reimburse me since it was due to an error on their end, I was told no. This is only one of almost countless horror stories I've experienced. Stay far, far away.

Zero Customer 'care'

Similar to another review, I had my service shut off. Not friendly at al or the least bit apologetic when speaking to the rep. I could not make or receive any calls. Asked to cancel my line, but I couldn't get refunded for the month that I've already paid to use it, She just cancelled it. Their coverage is non-existent in a lot of places as I travelled through some states. I've had it almost a year and have not been satisfied with the service.

Agree with the negative review here

Agree with the negative review here. The customer service is non-existent. If you are happy with their service that means you never had to deal with their customer service. I got to the airport and realized that my service was shut off. I tried to contact the customer service and of course without my service I COULD NOT make the call. I tried to raise multiple tickets with them and still no answers. They do not have web chat like most carriers. There is no single phone at airport that I could use to make a phone call

It is very difficult to get any support. The online website is extremely difficult to work through. When My credit card date expired, they never tried contacting me. They just shut the account off. It was like pulling teeth with their "customer service" person once I finally got through to them. If the pricing wasn't as low as it is, I would be gone yesterday. When I finally got re-instated, the girl just hung up the phone. No comments. No thanks.

Bad Billing

Started with TPO in Aug 2017 and just terminated service on April 11. Discovered they were charging a sales an utility tax for a City where I don't reside. They researched, agreed with me, blamed a third party vendor, refunded the amount collected, but then kept collecting it month after month (crediting the previous month on the bill and charging it all over again). Billing is not transparent - you have to ask for detailed billing information.

I'd be hard pressed to recommend the carrier.

Almost all good

Pros: The pricing is excellent.
TPO donates to charities.
Rarely an issue with signal or data strength.

Con: No chat customer service.
If you live alone or need your service before friends/family are available to use their phone, it's difficult to get to customer service if something goes wrong with the autopay renew etc. as pay phones are rare and it's not easy to find a stranger to let you borrow their phone for an unknown amount of time (depending on if there is a wait, troubleshooting, etc).

Much fair price than any other name…

Much fair price than any other name brands.

Their bill cycle is every 30 days, though claimed “pay by month”. Indeed, it works for 29 days, since their services will be interrupted on the last day (day before billing day). On the day it works, the service is consistent.

Good service

Good service. Reasonably priced. Great; just what I needed for 2 grandsons. I have them on TPO's lowest mobile plan and they're happy and I'm really pleased about the price. They like that they are able to pick a charity that they have a good feeling for. And their mom and I like that it gets them thinking about others.
