Currently on day 3 of trying to get a refund for a game (really bad one too) that they sneakily added to cart before paying. Probably the worst online experience we have ever had. The only way to contact is via online support. Each and every time they make you put in all your details then you get to the end and they tell you there are no agents available and it all starts again.

I paid £84 for my sons Christmas gift card. For the ps5 wallet funds. Unfortunately the gift card voucher I bought from Morrisons was so dry that its code was unreadable once scratched.. why they don't have checks on how long a voucher card should be on display before its usability issues before purchasing. . . Because of over time, This will affect the voucher cards screatch film over time drying.. who we my son unfortunately has experienced. On christmas day.
I've been in horrendous queues.. chatting with PlayStation support countless times. Boxing day and onwards. I was was asked to provide proof of purchase. Which was understandable. I provided images of the unreadable code of £84 Playstation. voucher gift card also my receipt for the purchase. This was just passed o to an investigation team. When clearly its absolutely so clear the voucher was unreadable and providing proof of recipes. Obviously. Clearly mis leading we will be contacted shortly. Was also i a lie.. waited in a queue for over 45 minutes to an hour more than once.. even with proof they still haven't issued a new code, refund or credit. My son had so much excitement when he saw the voucher. Now it's actually upset me so much. To see my sons face of beeing let down and feelings of hopelessness..As a parent I had to repurchase another gift at the same value.To rather watch my own flesh and blood suffer from disappointment. Playstation has a Poor standard & Customer service. Regarding what ever time of year I would think the amount of money we have spent alongside millions of other parents. This would have funded PlayStation to have had enough staff and courtesy for the customer to respond and resolve the issues which im sure is as common as they come... Especially when a paying customer deserve only what they have already paid for...

Accidentaly Purchased something twice because of a mistake and as I clicked download on both copies my refund was refused. The amount is small but they already received my money twice for the same thing. Sony truly does not care about their consumers and it feels like they are using automated systems to handle issues.

the store was not allowing me to restore purchases i had before, literally the agents would make stuff up so you leave. i had a game claimed digitally (through subscription which works as long as sub is active) and qualified for ps5 free upgrade but for some reason their stuff dont work, took me 2 months of constant calling and them saying wait 5 days every time but still nothing. On christmas eve their not so bright agent removed the digital licence of my game so i not only cant upgrade the game i cannot even play ps4 version i could before no one wants to accept responsibility as if you ask for a manager they change subject or quickly leave chat. complete scam

30 refund policy not extended over festive period...so be careful or avoid if buying gifts. Bought Christmas gift item and delivered on the 25th November. Upon opening on Christmas day (25th December), item not wanted but can not return because PlayStation only has 30 days refund policy regardless of holidays/festive season.

I bought £350 vouchers for Playstaion Network assuming they would cover all areas of playstaion store. They let you build up an online wallet. Only to find out online the wallet is capped at £300. Already im £50 short of what need for PSVR2! I thought that's fine I'll use my bank card and I'll easy spend £50 on games at a later date.
When I try to purchase what I've already paid for through playstaion store it doesn't even give the option to use your wallet just your bank card. Playstaion now have my money but won't let me use it for what I would like to purchase. Playstaion have taken my money without providing goods or services. No matter what small print written, this is wrong and theft.

Game still in first 14 day after purchase Faulty game crashed 4x times in the first 2-3hrs if play.. trying to speak to customer service .. no chance .. not allowing me to even go into the waiting queue and managed to get to the queue twice 1st time waited for 5 hrs then got told by the customer service agent that policy said no return if downloaded and played clearly forgetting to complete their policy which state unless FAULTY , when faced them with the rest of the policy they started to be rude to me and asking me to stop writing and to answer the question to refer me to a specialist and when I wanted to explain my point they kicked me out of the chat .. I tried again and again and waited for another hour after a day or two trying to get into the queue to be told sorry no available agent and chat was closed from their side.
I'm still in the 14 day return eligible period but they are clearly trying to push it out of this window to refuse to return the game I purchased and downloaded from their website ... THE WORSE SCAM COMPANY EVER. NEVER PURCHASE AGAIN FROM PLAYSTATION STORE.

What a waste of space these people are. All I got was a text from dpd saying the driver was delayed on 17th Dec then nothing. Went to support who said I had to wait 2 days. NOTHING. Went back to support who fobbed me off with an open ended statement with no dates to come back to me. No update about dpd. I asked to escalate and was ignored. TOTALLY useless company. How long does it take to contact a courier????

Looking at purchasing Returnal. It is a game released in 2021. As I am not able to purchase digital games from anywhere else except the PS Store. It is currently £69.99 just for the base game. Because there is no competition they can change whatever they like and you have no option but to pay their pricing.

I don`t know why so many people complain about service, prices or whatever tiny issues they try to find. Cmon,dudes, Playstation is a global company and they at least try to create something innovative yearly. I know that new versions of PS don`t bring sufficient upgrades, but who cares, for me the launch of new games in high quality and without glitches, is enough for comfortable gaming XP. Also, support actually works, whenever I need, they respond promptly and complete. Overall, FROM MY OWN XP NO COMPLAINTS!

PlayStation ARE YOU kidding me right now! , my psvr 1 problems are not fixing the little box keeps blicking red and it wont show the picture on the psvr. I tried everything i could think of but it wont work. I called PlayStation 1 week ago and this guy Eric "tried to help me fix it" Yes im qroteing that because he told me to turn my PlayStation and the psvr box on and off. And Guess what It Didn't WORK, then i tried Google. I searched up How to fix blicking psvr box. It said to turn the psvr box off and playstion for 30 minutes and tried it and ofc it didn't WORK the only why i can get it fixed is paying them 99$ Im like o naw i would rather buy a new one besides then fixing it. So if your about to buy a PlayStation dont do it because at some point you will get scamed. And i will try YouTube videos to see if thoses work to fix my psvr and if it does it will save me 90$ because i was going to older it from gamestop but they were sold out. terrible company, so i was playing ea fc 25 so its already a toxic game, and ok the guy beats me but I don't want to leave the game as the objectives says to play 12, so the guy messages me and tells me to quit and stop wasting time, and I message him to go away I play how I want.. the next thing I know I've been suspended for 7 days by psn, I don't even get to fight my case, PlayStation are a terrible company.
do yourself a favor and stick to Xbox or PC I regret ever buying a PS5; it is full of snowflakes and Karens that will get you banned foe enjoying a game

I have been trying to recover my account and they asked me what the serial number of the PlayStation is when I registered the account, it’s over 7 years old!!!! I don’t even have the thing. They don’t even want to help and end the chat. I’d recommend Xbox over Sony poor service
Sony/PSN Rip Off Merchants!
I purchased a game in good faith online. It never worked. Deleted & downloaded at least 5 times. I spent over an hour on with EA Sports. Advised me to contact PS Store for refund. They are very nearly impossible to contact if you work Mon-Fri 9-5! By the time I did eventually get in contact, they informed me it was more than 14 days so tough luck!!
I will now be selling all my Sony gaming gear & going with Microsoft - for the first time ever!

The worst customer support experience ever! As an avid PS user, I am running out of excuses for them. Planning to switch all gaming to XBox. I was charged for a digital game that I already own a physical copy of. Agent refused any refund... then hung up on me when I asked to speak with a higher-level rep.

Just purchased a Sony PSVR2 from their website and within less than 10 minutes my accounts password has been changed along with all other security information. Yes I had Google Authenticator, Yes I had my mobile number connected. I literally had all authentication you could have enabled. and yet somehow I was still hacked. I was clearly hacked by an employee. Literally wasnt notified of anything. Only was i could tell is because i was logged out watching youtube on my PS5. Which has been proven to be done before. Many cases reported on reddit and a trophy hunter called hakoom was hacked by sony employees. DO NOT TRUST THEM WITH ANY DATA! THEY HAVE ACCESS TO CREDIT CARD INFO! LITERALLY EVERYTHING. Do not trust!!
Zero support
I turned on my PS5 and found my save data was just gone. I tried to restore from a cloud save but it wasn't possible. Sony removed the ability to export game saves to USB so the only option is to pay £60 a year for cloud saves, so I've been doing that for years now for this feature.
After spending multiple days trying to reach support who are always closed. I had to take a day off work to contact them via live chat which is only open during "business hours".
Every few minutes if you don't hit a confirm button within a 60 second window of time they'll kick you out of the 100+ person queue and you have to start again.
After staring at this window for half an hour, repeatedly clicking confirm, I got through to someone that told me I should've exported saves to USB and was surprised when I had to tell them Sony removed such functionality. Then he told me he there's nothing he can do and terminated the chat.
I've terminated my PSN Plus subscription as it's clearly a scam. And now I have to decide if I was to replay my game to completion again only to potentially have the save disappear once more.
