Absolute thrash

I placed a preorder on 28/6/24.
"An email notification will be emailed to you with the tracking number shortly"

Nothing for 1 year. then was informed of trade wars between usa and china, hence the delays.

Fast forward this year, I realized I still haven't received my order. went to check, the second reprint was out like months ago.

I went to check my order on steamforge page, it shows "It's on its way". So i went to email them.

Was told me its delivered on march 2025. with no proof of delivery, no notification of tracking number, no notification of delivery, no nothing.

I’m on the helldivers campaign

I’m on the helldivers campaign. They just slashed most of the team and shelved a lot of projects. These guys just rug pulled for 3 million dollars. IMO a lawsuit is in order if they do not deliver in October.

Really want to like this company

Really want to like this company. Ordered a week ago with the website saying ships within a few days. Got a response to an email updating my address but silence when I ask about an ETA.

If you can't keep up with the demand of a single item then your focus is in the wrong place. I know you were handed a turd by privateer but this really isnt good enough.

Waiting for the Monster Hunter Iceborne…

Waiting for the Monster Hunter Iceborne Kickstarter for years... I generally don't do this kind of reviews, but since their core business is to make Kickstarters, and since they continue to just spit half truths in each new update, and since they DID NOT GIVE US AN UPDATE FOR A MONTH, I think that the least I can do is to give them a bad reviews, hoping others will read this when they are going to fund their future Kickstarters and being discouraged in funding them. Using CNY as an excuse for another delay it's insulting, since they routinely make affairs with China and they know well that CNY exhists and has to be taken in account for logistics.

3 months waiting for broken minis

Just waited a little bit more than 3 months for broken guild ball minis. with the sent package, it´s clear they don´t give a damn. You need no degree to see that the minis will break packaged like this. this is an absolute joke. DO NOT BUY THERE!!!

Printed Models of Poor Quality

For background, I print resin models for myself, and for friends. The quality of the models that Steamforged Games is content sending people is not any kind of standard I would even find acceptable to give as a gift for free. Models that have clearly not been allowed to have the IPA fully dry before curing and come out shiny and with muddied detail. Models that have supports still left on them, as well as support marks left on them from when said supports were removed. Shipping a warjack with a pit/hole in the body due to a printing error. They even ship models with obviously misshapen parts, either from printing incorrectly, heat, or some other factor. For the latter issue, I've found I've had to use hot water to anneal the misshapen parts and bend them into the correct position (often a thin part, such as a rifle, sword, or bipod).

On top of all this, I didn't even get everything I've paid for. The Winter Korps Core Expansion is missing a model, and a Mini Crate mini that I was charged for back in October still has not shipped to me.

Not only that, their customer service is non-existent. Even when you try to get things resolved, there's far too much automation, canned responses, and nothing replies about there being too much shipping volume nationwide, when no other company has ever given me issues like this, nor provided such excuses. I have a ticket for replacing a model open, and it's sat for 10 days with no response. That's well outside the estimate they gave of 5 days to deal with the backlog of requests from the Christmas break they went on.

The only reason I'm giving this 2 stars instead of 1 is because I like the Warmachine IP, and I like the way that they're handling the rules and the legacy models, making the rules largely free in their app, and offering STLs to be able to print legacy models. But their own printing service is atrocious, and I know I could do better (despite their poor pre-support work on models. People I've talked to have said they just manually support, because SFGs pre-supports are very hit or miss). Why do I know I could do better? Because I don't settle for doing things by half measures. If it's not good enough, I do it again until I get it right. And SFG should take the same approach.

Two stars only because they are not flat out scam and 1* is lowest.

I´m giving two stars purelly on the somewhat nice design, few games that are playable and that they are not outright scam.

Steamforged Games are known for somewhat lacking quality of gameplay (not always), not being great to bring the original PC gameplay onto board, have terrible and slow custommer suport, use predatory and FOMO Kickstarter strategies, while NEVER delivering on time - in generall you can count they will be late by at least a year.

In generall there is a lack of care and quality controll - they make great, game accurate sculptures - which will often have problems with lack of details or are made in way that is nonsensical to the original. Same goes for texts that mention the lore of original material - often sounding generic (even A.I. like) while having blatantly wrong passages. Sadly the same goes for quality - they have a really good sculpting team again, but mostly the larger models often come warped or broken.

Add to that, that they are visibly unable to learn or be straight with their customers - they always put the first fulfilling date soon, inform about delays only few weeks before they should start to fulfill, keep reopening and adding to the pledges, often by kickstarter exclusives that can come over a year after the campaign started and the pledges are supposed to be closed.

And again, all the problems with campains that are running now they have had in all previous ones i known off - they do not learn nor step up.

Terrible execution of games, horrendous supply issues, awful customer service.
Will not touch any of their games ever again.

Incomplete box but no help from the customer service

I bought an expensive Khador Box in France several weeks ago. One miniature was missing and another war missprinted. I sent several mails to the customer service but received no answer… what can I think about it? I start a new game and I see I can’t trust the company which produce it… first time in 30 years I have this kind of issue with a tabletop game

Ordered in their pre-christmas Sale 04/12/24 as a christmas gift.

Delivery way too slow. Over a month to deliver in stock items.

Fell hard for their Black Friday offer start of December. Ordered a lot of stuff. Still not delivered. They totally missed Christmas. It's been a month. Their products are great, but NEVER order direct.

Edit: Finally arrived yesterday. All present and correct, well packed, undeniably good quality minis at low prices (in the sale). Just avoid buying direct if you can. If you must buy in the sales, expect at least a month for shipping, and very few updates/apologies.

Ordered 24/11, informed ON Xmas Eve it wouldnt arrive for Christmas

Made order on 29th November at 12.30am, no updates for over a week. Emailed asking for an update and rec'd reply on 12th Dec saying they had a backlog but was looking to get everything shipped before christmas.

Find out on the 18th that several who made orders around the same time as mine had now received theirs. Emailed again asking for an update.

Get a reply on *CHRISTMAS EVE* consisting mostly of a copy and paste blurb, and saying it won't now be arriving till the new year, with no comment on why other orders made around the same time had shipped.

They make good games, but the shipping and customer service from them is *atrocious*, and they should be avoided at all costs.

They take your money and don't deliver - literally.

Great games, Useless customer service don't buy from the main site, AVOID.

response.
They take your money and don't deliver - literally.
Made an order on the 03rd 0f December- Three weeks later -no updates -23rd -two days before Christmas -as they was purchased for presents.
They can't deliver or communicate. All you get for any contact is automated tickets , for a company that make a lot's of money they cheap out on customer service- totally automated and not monitored ,maybe just occasionally for someone to pick up and read every now and then send excuses.
Trading standards is unfortunately next stop, and get refund from card hopefully.
Customer treatment is terrible.

Ghosting

This happened about a year ago but now that I see yet another funding campaign of them, I feel I need to write this.

A good while ago, I late pledged their last Resident Evil board game. Mails were sent later to let us know they are on their way. Some time later they let everyone know we should contact them if we still don't have it, which was my case.

I did and they answered to wait a bit longer (what is the point to tell us to contact them then?), so I did. A month later I contact them again, they answer quickly asking me my adress to check it up...

And that was the last mail I got from them. A month later I send another email. Nothing. One month later, another: again, nothing.

Safe to say: they simply ghosted me and I never got my order.

Never back anything of them, no matter how good it looks. They aren't worth a single coin if that's how they treat their customers.
