Stiga - Poor Quality and Poor Customer Service
My experience with Stiga has been extremely disappointing from start (November 2025) to date (July 2026). The machinery I purchased has proven to be of poor quality, and when I sought support, the after-sales service was equally frustrating. Communication has been poor, with emails going unanswered despite assurances that I would be kept updated. An unsuitable alternative product was offered, which I explained was not acceptable partly due to it being of a lower specification, and since then it has even been removed from their website. Overall, I have experienced poor product quality, inadequate customer service, and a lack of communication, leaving my issue unresolved and no idea when it will be resolved.
Really good and helpful
Really good and helpful and offered a good price replacement. I would have given 5* but the response was very slow.

Registration didn’t go as easy as it should have !
When bought direct from Stiga why is it necessary to upload sales receipt ?
Similarly product detail and serial number - which wasn’t recognised so had to add further numbers ?
All of this was on the receipt and pic of box data I uploaded !
Also sales date and who bought from etc etc!
It came from Stiga !

I have had the robomower for over 2…
I have had the robomower for over 2 weeks and I still can't get to work. I keep getting a message that the mower is missing the docking path. When I try to register the path, I just get a demo and no further help, or the app tells me the robot is not ready to record a new cutting area. I am going round in circles, which is something else the mower did when I lifted it onto the lawn to start the cutting as it wouldn't take itself!

Very good cutting. However
Very good cutting.
Mulching plug not good compared to my previous Husvarna mower, it let's the grass cuttings up into the chute.
Avoid Stiga and Mountfield products!
These companies products may be fine but their customer service and support is terrible. 7 years ago I spent a lot of money fully equipping myself with a full range of Mountfield Freedom 48 garden equipment. The charger has failed and customer services have basically said that the line is discontinued and I must junk all of my equipment and buy new. No help. No concern. No support! Avoid these companies at all cost!!”
Performs well after early problems …
Generally it works well but struggled with the amount of grass at the beginning of our season. We have also had some overheating issues with the blade motor (being changed) and some early issues with getting tangled with brambles etc at boundaries but perfect since remap
Never buy one Ever !!
I have 2 stigas. The large one is the estate pro. Probably not certainly the worst mower I have ever owned. It breaks down at least 5 times a year. I have had it 6 years and it has only 130 hours on the clock. Not because i don’t use it but it’s always broken. i’m sitting on it now and 1 week after repair and new blades it’s broken again. just won’t go. Please do yourself a favour. Never ever buy this heap of crap. It’s a figment of imagination to think it is a top of the range machine. It’s 100% useless
Customer service absolute crap
Customer service absolute crap - submitted an email for help and I am still waiting 4 weeks on. Clearly gone way down hill since my last contact 12 months ago.
