I was a little wary of using a “remote” solicitor for my house sale but right from the first contact Elise and Emma have been brilliant. This is the second time I have used Stephens Wilmot Solicitors. Having had a really positive experience last time I requested to have Cheryl Head to do my conveyancing on this occasion also.
I was very fortunate and Cheryl and her associate Tracey Blanchard dealt with the sale of my property efficiently. I was able to contact both Cheryl or Tracey if I had any queries and I have to say that they are both very professional, approachable and nothing was too much trouble. They kept me up to date with each stage of the process. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

I used them to purchase my flat a couple of years and they missed a VITAL clause that advised my flat was only for key workers (I am not a key worker and never have been), now I am having to pay hundreds of pounds to change the lease of my flat for a new buyer.

If my solicitor had been thorough like my new buyers this VERY important clause wouldn't have been missed and I wouldn't have been hundreds of pounds in debt.

Kathryn jones was appointed to handle the conveyancing for a garage I was purchasing.in August 25. A simple job, no searches no mortgage no survey, should have been completed within six weeks. After six months it was still on the initial stages and the seller after issuing a deadline finally pulled out! I lost the sale and was refunded my money. There are many other good solicitors out there, steer clear of Stephen’s wilmot
