Solid aggregator of housing offers from a lot of different sites. Easy to set up, the filters all work very well. Keep in mind that you still have to do all the reactions and communication with the real estate agencies, but I do feel like Stekkies allowed for a quicker reaction time, which is crucial in the rental market nowadays.

I signed up for two months to look for a house. Money wasted. The website sends very few notifications, and they are completely irrelevant to the preferences I set (for example, I selected that I wanted furnished apartments, and most of the listings were for unfurnished places).

Getting enough notifications for new rental ads was very helpful to an extent.

However, the subscription cost can be reduced, as there are many other similar services available on the market.

We were able to get so many viewings through always reacting quickly and ended up having three apartment offers in the end. Really incredible for saving time and having an efficient registration process!!

The app worked great, the response time is very important for housing in the netherlands. This allowed me to respond fast and, although it took a long time (3 months aprox) I was able to find a rental.

I loved the fact that every day you get new options for housing! I would think to add an extra filter to see if the person is actually eligible for the place or not but overall it brings many possibilities.

I was subscribed to Stekkies and Rentbird for almost a year. I attended apartment viewings together with 20–30 people each time. After months of searching, I finally managed to find a place only because a couple who were leaving their apartment mentioned my name to the agency.

These notification websites were a solution that used to work years ago, but now they are useless. The market is saturated. Some paid services that “guarantee” you an apartment (if you pay 700 - 1000 euros upfront) use methods that, in many countries outside the Netherlands, would be considered highly abusive and completely unacceptable.

2 stars for Stekkies, because Rentbird deserves 1.
