These boots are made to last. I am a Heavy Equipment Operator. I bought these boots 3 years ago. They have been beat to the ends of the earth. They still have life left in them. I am happy if my boots last 1 year, let alone 3.

These boots are the most comfortable steel toe I've ever worn. No one can believe they are safety boots. I would definitely buy again and I have friends looking to order also. I highly recommend!

For years i was a Caterpillar Indiana Boot fan, then they came out with the 2.0 version .... real BAD Boot!

For the last 12 years STEEL BLUE or nothing! I work for Big Brown delivering boxes, on my feet all day!

SO please if somebody is reading this leave the Argyle Boots the way they are ! No need to change a thing or make a 2.o version!

Bought my first pair the ladies southern cross zip in purple and I love them! I want them in every color! Perfect fit very comfortable! I am on my feet sometimes 10 hours a day at work in a refrigerated warehouse! Best boots ever

Comfortable high-quality boot. The metatarsal boot is puncture-resistant and has extra protection on the top of the foot. Heavy-duty soles are great for walking on gravel. 10/10 highly recommend

I have had my boots (Ladies' Black Hobarts Steel and Soft Toe) for 2 years now and LOOOOOOOVE them. They are still as comfortable as when I first got them. I really like that I can change out the insole and keep moving.

Boots fallen apart after long storage purchased in 2008


A chemical reaction called Hydrolysis has occurred which happens due to the age of the boots generally 7+ years old, being unworn and lengthy storage conditions, basically the chemicals used in the soling which provides the underfoot comfort can breakdown and deteriorate when unworn and stored for a long time.

Following my initial review, Steel Blue have contacted me and graciously offered to replace the boots.

They explained that the breakdown of the rubber sole was attributed to the way I had stored the boots.

I have really appreciated their swift response and am eager to try out the new pair, anticipating a more satisfactory experience. Thank you to Courtney and Dorian for addressing the issue promptly.

Today was my first day and when I say it's the most comfortable boots I have ever wore they was like heaven I just hope and pray the rest of there boots are just as comfortable

So first of all these are extremely comfortable work boots. Love the feel and look of boots. Will come back and leave another review around a year from now on how they held up.
