I have connection drops
I have connection drops, slow speeds and customer service is useless! I speak with someone else every minute on the same ticket. I feel i have a faulty unit or something is wrong but nobody is helping. I have sent pictures of everything installed correctly and yet all they say is everything is fine on their side. A complete waste of money, advertised great speeds but my mobile data has better performance than starlink!!!! So disappointed in it all!
Save yourself the trouble
Absolutely rubbish investment, over priced at best. In bad weather, the Internet becomes casper the unfriendly ghost, as someone who relies on great Internet to be able to work from home, this has been a very unwise decision and waste of money and I wish I had known I'll go through all of this stress when i decided to buy this device. I would've saved myself that money.
Not good
Not good. Very unstable. Sometimes had bad connection even when the weather is clear. Slow response time from their team on the app. I'm rethinking the investment
I've had Starlink now for six months... It's ok.
I've had Starlink now for six months. It's great... when it works. I live on the UK south coast. The Starlink dish was professionally installed and strategically positioned on my chimney, with ZERO obstructions and unhindered view of the sky 24/7. Connection can be intermittently lost or of low quality at times. This being said, my previous supplier, BT, was shocking, with some days I was lucky pulling in 9MBPS download speed. So, whilst Starlink is much better, I would expect to have unrivalled connection speed 24/7 without blackouts... Perhaps it will get better in time, but for now, I don't have much of a choice.

Watch out buying used equipment they won’t help you activate it if it still under sellers account. There is no way around this I lost $300 for Starlink decorations I provided bill of sale but it doesn’t meen anything so frustrating it’s definitely a whole other experience

It is like pulling teeth trying to get something from customer service. I have returned a kit, long cable as well as adapter pole in a brand new, unopened condition. I never even unpacked because they JUST installed fibre in my area as I ordered the Starlink. So my first issue was it was already difficult to get a return slip from starlink for a full refund. (I paid €585 for all of this!) ... Long story short, after lots of messages back and forth I finally received PART of my refund (€415). I am still missing €170 and I am still in back and forth messages with them. I followed their directions to the T and still they keep asking me for tracking number, etc. I would NEVER, EVER recommend this company to anyone, regardless of how good the internet might be. As soon as an issue arises, you're screwed as after-care / customer service is basically non existent. To be honest, I'm not even sure I'm talking to real people as the answers to my messages are always vague and only partially answered. I believe I am talking to bots or some other form of AI.
USA vs Spanish buisness approach
Spanish customer here. Installation on roof 1h. Activation 5 min. Updating 3 min. Only spend 1h 10min to establish an internet connection up to 220 Mbit.
But be aware of hidden fee and don't trust billing page about monthly costs
Same time I have a fiber line in my home, and the local internet provider wasn't able to connect me for the whole month, just because his employers were too lazy to do their job and just skipped new clients.
Choose wisely.
The service has been great thus far
The service has been great thus far. No up and down speed. It's stays the same all month. 20 times better than viasat! It was a hassle at first because we did not know we needed to keep the box until everything was set up and service connected, but it was a simple exchange of all equipment for new equipment in the box at best buy. I wish starlink had a customer service line but geek squad was okay.

First off this is a freaking joke of a company with no options to contact support. Created a ticket 3 days ago and still no response. Cancelled my subscription because service was terrible and they continue to charge my account. Would not recommend unless you are truly desperate for internet. Bad service and absolutely no customer support

Starlink has absolutely no costumer support do not buy it.
Can't wait for fibe
We have Starlink because there is no other option. But they are bringing fibe to our area so I can't wait to switch. Their customer service is non existent. And the internet quality is not great. It drops out regularly throughout the day even in clear skies. In a storm, we are guaranteed to not have internet. It's hard to make a living like this but we cant afford to live in a big city anymore.
Terrible customer service
Router burns out, sent a new one, now the dish serial number is required to make the system work, but it’s 9m up a ladder and I have no way to access it. Customer service don’t care, now I’m out of options and have a very expensive satellite system that is just a fancy chimney decoration!
Starlink is kinda cool do not get the mini
Starlink is kinda cool, no where too hook up Ethernet for connecting other devices, also too much cords.. DO NOT get the Starlink MINI, they will charge you $30/mo at first to add on then as soon as you use their very limited data they charge you $250/mo plus your $150/mo you already pay, so basically $400/mo just to search Google. It is a joke and the biggest rip off ever, I think Elon needs to come back down to earth or stop ripping people off!!!!! I hate his yuppie companies, such a loser!
There us no customer service support for this product.
I bought the Gen 3 dish and wasn't able to get wifi. There is NO customer service support available. I paid 2 months worth of subscriptions ($300) and was never able to make it work. I'm returning this. Unless you're an IT expert, and can trouble shoot issues yourself, DO NOT BUY STARLINK!

Service twice as fast as expected 200+ megabytes per second and the lowest latency on the market and cheaper than my other service!!!
Sooooo disappointed
Sooooo disappointed
Having had a 4G router, as I live remotely, I decided to try Starlink.
It is not suitable if you live near any trees.
It shows an excellent strength signal, but this translates to painfully slow internet speeds .. reminiscent of dial up.
It buffers consistently and cannot support TV for most of the day.
I have never had a worse experience…
I have never had a worse experience with an internet provider than I have with Starlink. My internet worked great for 4 days, then it just stopped working. The router would not stop buffering. It has been 72 hours, and other than being asked to upload some photos, there has been no real support provided. We rely now rely on Starlink to be able to work. I cannot believe there has been no resolution in over 3 days. If I could use any other internet provider while living remotely I would
Starlink Is A SUPER Disappointment
My daughter moved to home in a rural area of TN and didn't have fiber or cable internet so she opted for StarLink. She works from home so she needs good reliable internet for meetings and everyday work.
It worked good for about 2 weeks then the problems started. It would drop out and not link up it was a real problem. She opened a help ticket and was slow to get a response. Then when she did get response it was to send photos of connection. She did and again it was a long time to get a response. When response came he did everything they requested to restart and reset. No good! Again a help ticket and no response for 3 days! No she is getting told by her employer that she is expected to have "reliable" internet! Stressed! Finally the response was "sorry we missed your request, we think your router is problem." Sent router to 4 days to get , hooked it up and still not fixed! The problem is there is not way to contact Help other than the app and then the response is slow and even the shipping is not express! Come on! When someone relies on their internet for work it needs to work! At this point I think she is going the have to abandon Starlink and move on to the only alternative she has with a T-Mobile hot spot! This company should be better than this and should help someone that works from home as a priority! I am writing this review because she frantically trying to get something to work! I would give this system ZERO stars but 1 star is all the system will show.
We bought Starlink. Remorse sets in
We bought Starlink because we live rural and our options are limited. The cost was considerably higher than other options but they promised great speeds. The dish has absolute 100% unobstructed shy view. The problem, their speeds aren’t what they say, we usually have less then 15 mbps upload. We purchased 4 additional nodes for every area that has equipment in it. Slow speed persist. If you have any issues it’s just painful. No phone number, so you can’t actually talk to anyone. After you exhaust ever avenue then you can request support, so far I’ve waited 4 days with 0 response. If you have any other options I would strongly recommend you look towards them. Maybe in time Starlink might get it right but that looks a long way off.
Starlink is good when it works but SO…
Starlink is good when it works but SO bad when it doesn’t. They have been promising to send a replacement kit out for weeks now. But they can’t get my address right. No mater how many times I give it. It always gets imputed wrong. Or their system says my address doesn’t exist. I know for a fact that people have lived at this address for over 100 years. The address hasn’t changed and still they can’t post to it. It’s absolutely mind blowing.
