Came in for an eye exam and paid for contacts on 1/19/26. I was informed someone would contact me regarding the arrival of my contacts. No one ever called me, and I called to inquire about my order. I was told my trails were ready on 1/26/26, but not my actual order. I never received a call back after that, and I have called several times as well as checking online for the status of my order. I finally called yesterday, 4/30/26 and was informed that my order was ready for pick up in February! I received an apologize for the lack of contact, but honestly it’s inexcusable. I will never come back to this establishment nor recommend it.

My first time using Stanton Optical. Stephanie was very knowledgeable and helpful in assisting me with my glasses. I was impressed the availability of frames and the customer service provided. I felt comfortable with purchasing my glasses there.

Very disappointed in my experience with the Waxahachie location. I told them I needed computer glass and they gave me reading glasses. Then when I went back the manager seemed to have a very dismissive attitude and wasn’t very helpful when she was the one that made the initial mistake. Customer service should be a given. I hope this location will work on that!

These lenses are perfect! I can see so much better than previous glasses. The exam was a new experience, but I liked it. I have never had a virtual eye exam before. It was clean and accurate.

Never recieved a call to pick up glasses. Person said the store texed or called me on the 27th.

1. prices are way to high
2.staff need to be trained.
3. .misleading and deceptive advertising..
4.poor customer service...

I went to get 2 pair of glasses on a bogo a lady helped me pick one out then ordered them after I told her I needed them mailed because I live 9 hours away. I came to pick them up 2 weeks later and she said only 1 came in the other one would be sometime later. I asked to speak to someone and get the other pair mailed. She said she never put the bogo. She told her coworker she did. I got frustrated because she was not very helpful and kept saying the same thing over and over. I called the complaint hotline and said I would be contacted in 48hours. 2 weeks later I called back and they sent me back to the store to talk to the unhelpful associate. She said I refused the bogo. I reminded her thats the only reason I came in was for that and she acted dumbfounded and changed her story several times. Low and behold I never got a 2nd pair. And will never recommend or come back to the store.

I didnt like how you had to qualify for 2 for 79 and I paid 400 dollars for one pair of glasses

Very expensive. Customer service was ok. Nothing that wowed me. I disnt like the fact that I didn't have a dr I from of me. Girl there first day couldn't stay off her phone but was sweet. Nvr got the notification that glasses were ready even though it says I did. The day I picked them up the 2 girls were not personable at all. Almost $900 to be treated like I was nothing. If I could change it and go back to America's best I would. Still unsure if prescription is right. Said it's the same just my astigmatism changed and I do not see a difference

I am not sure that my 'virtual' eye exam was professional or accurate. According to my insurance I can't get another exam to compare until next year. My first glasses where horribly aligned for the bifocals. Nice that they were replaced at no cost to me. It was an inconvenience for me because I don't live locally and it's an hour round trip. I went thinking I could get 2 pair for $79 as advertised, but the selection was very limited, and not for bifocals, which I need. Including my insurance I spent over $500 on my glasses (this seems to be on par with what I usually have to spend). 3 appointments, 3 hour-long round trips, and disappointing all-in-all. Will not be a repeat customer.

First time trying Stanton Optical & Stephanie made the entire experience effortless & fun! She helped me find the perfect pair & they were ready in a week! I’m very pleased with everything!
