Misleading pricing
They offer the low price of $79 for 2 pair. When I asked the sales person how much would it cost to add tint to one pair he said $39. I said okay. When he presented the bill it was an additional $79. I asked why. He said when you bundle 2 pair the system won't allow the $39 for tint on one pair. I said that makes zero sense. I pressed him to give me the $39 price. He finally relented. I get it. The whole low pricing gets you in the door. By the time you walk out with all the upgrade fees, your pricing will be about the same as any other optician or optometrist.

Nick was very thorough when I purchased 3 glasses for myself. He was very patient when I continued to have problems with my attempt to pay due to computer communication issues. Eventually, he spoke to the company’s agent to explain and solve things, upon my request. Nick was great!
My exam was exceptional due the doctor’s knowledge of a my rare genetic condition. She accepted my information without questioning or challenging my physical history. I did not have to waste time with justifying my present concerns and future possibilities. She did not hesitate to answer my questions. I never felt rushed with our discussion.

Dr. Houchin gave me a very thorough exam, providing me with options for glasses and contacts. This was my first time needing a prescription for far and close vision. Nani was extremely helpful with choosing the right frame and lenses for my prescription and style. The store is clean and organized. Overall the best exam and eyeglass experience as of yet!

The best choices at a competitive price!
After checking prices at Kaiser (my Medicare provider) , and Costco, I went to Stanton Optical, in Escondido. All of the personnel there were congenial and helpful, and their selection of frames was nothing short of vast!
When I finally selected a frame, Nani was very helpful in piloting me through the lens choices, to give me what I needed, and wanted at the best cost possible.
My glasses took under two weeks to make, and deliver, and the staff were very helpful in adjusting the frames to fit my head!
I will definitely return for any future needs!
