What a brilliant app.
So easy to use and understand.
Easy to earn money to pay off your mortgage earlier.
The worst thing is remembering to use it every time.
A must if you want money for nothing.

Overall great concept and love being able to earn cash back to use against mortgage overpayments. However a recent update means I can no longer see my mortgage balance. This was one of the main reasons I would regularly log in. Also it is very frustrating that Sprive + is only available to those who refer others- which is something I do not want to do

It is a lovely feeling to know that while spending money on daily expenses you can also be chipping away at your mortgage at the same time!

Incredible app. Using it to overpay with cash back when I shop, but also free mortgage broker to switch and also super handy with switching utilities. I used it to change my gas and electric, it automatically found by current provider and shared handily what the current and new tariff rates would be side by side

Scam! Stay away

Highly recommend. I use this a few times a week and when I do my big shop.
Been using it 3 months and already it says i'm on track to save 18 months off paying my mortgage

I wish I'd known about Sprive sooner!
I've been using it since February and I mainly use it for my weekly food shops. I love that you can buy a voucher for the exact amount you need - to the penny!
Getting something to pay off against your mortgage when it's money you'd be spending anyway is fab.
Just watch out for in store/online only vouchers, I got caught out once by that - totally my own fault!

Cannot fault it, I hope over time the interface can be sped up, so that buying the giftcard is quicker and more seamless but for where the tech is right now its superb

Amazing idea & app. I just wish I’d known about it earlier. Money off my mortgage for doing my usual shopping.
Great for online purchases & I use self checkouts where possible in store as buying gift cards at the till can be slow or add up as I go along & purchase in queue.

Brilliant idea. It's small amounts but they add up and it's satisfying when you pay something off your mortgage.

Amazing app wish I had started using earlier, really easy to use, great percentage offered, sometimes a bit of a issue with signal at the till in-store but easily overcome by adding to wallet first and not sprive's fault, it's basically free money for doing my everyday shopping, already really seeing the difference in my mortgage balance, I can not recommend more!!

Just wish the budget supermarkets were on board!
Sometimes not great when signal is poor, so you need to do to gift card purchases ahead if that's a particular issue.

Love the idea in principle but when something goes wrong there is no telephone number and they aim to respond to your email in '1 working day'. I bought a large gift card to spend on my food shop. The money left my account. It said that my gift card was ready but when I clicked on it, it said there was a problem and it couldn't load the giftcard. I have now had to pay again for my shopping- leaving me feeling very anxious because we are on a tight budget and there is no human to talk to about it. Tomorrow is a Bank Holiday and so is Monday so I may now not hear anything until Tuesday! I think it's fine to have an email Customer Services that responds in 1 working day for general enquiries but not when something goes wrong. It also makes me feel uneasy about buying future gift cards as currently I have no idea if I will get my money back and if so, when.

Amazing app, free money off your mortgage it’s literally a no brainer! Super user friendly

Excellent app works really well. Allows us to pay £20-£30 off mortgage every month for free basically

Sprive is great. It’s easy to use and easy to save. My loss of 1star in a because the link you Amazon is broken and I’m a heavy user of Amazon. To be fair to Sprive this could be an Amazon issue. Get the app it’s great.

I have been using this for a couple of months and wish I had started it sooner. Absolutely excellent and so easy and straightforward. Will definitely recommend and continue to use

General:
My husband and I've been using Sprive for the last 3 months, since we say the app presented on Dragon Den. We put all our usually shopping, Tescos, Halfords etc on Sprive. Its been a fantastic way to make overpayments on the mortgage.

The App:
The app is really easy to use, self explanatory and comprehensive in what i need it to do. However the app can be a bit clunky, it does not always load the gift card properly or the app fails, this is not all the time but perhaps during peak shopping times. To avoid this my husband and i put a fixed amount on Sprive, we save the gift card to our google wallets and use it till the money runs out and top up afterwards. The app requires pre planning, you need to read the T&C for example the boots sprive does not allow you to use it in stores, its online only which means if you spend less then a certain amount you have to pay p&p.

Overall its a great app, we use it all the time and have made healthy overpayments as a result of it, we look forward to the app and more shops being added on such as Aldi. Thank you
